Some people are playing to entertain themselves while others are playing to win, though its hard. The thinking that you might hit a jackpot if you gamble is one of the reason why some people keep playing and its not only because of self satisfaction. So regardless of your reason on why you chose to be a gambler, what matter is you can control yourself and aware of the consequences if you gamble.

Anyway I only experience to win a decent amount in keno lottery, its been few years already and its a great experience because its pure luck.

Another thing I can see here is some people their excuses are they are doing gambling just for fun or entertainment but ended up losing their minds because they are losing too much.

I feel you; it was giving additional entertainment when you place some bet with the sport that you are watching and following, local or international games when you already have good knowledge, there are possibilities that you will put some decent amount hoping that it will bring you more entertainment while watching the game.

There's something inside that you wanted to prove, something that you think you are good at and you wanted to make some good conversions with the knowledge you have regarding to the game/sports.

There are really just some people who do always have bad impressions towards gambling and mostly be talking about its addiction problems or getting wrecked or something in related
thats why they've decided not to touch up with these things ever.Its true that the excitement and thrill could really be experienced out through gambling but of course you would be needing some funds
or money for you to make out some bets and in sports betting you could really make out some analysis on your own specially on a sport which you do know most of it.

Most gamblers with good winnings prefer keeping their winning stories for privacy purposes while others share it to inspire and spread hope and positivity for other players. I play in casinos for entertainment, it's exciting to gamble with money and having a chance to win large jackpots. Even though the chance for winning big is small it's still fun, and if we don't play our chance of winning is 0. Going into a casino with the only motivation of winning and making money is not a good idea. We all know that the casino has a house edge, the games are designed to offer better winning chances to the house and not the player. Without it the casino would lose money and go bankrupt. I look at gambling like any other hobby I would do instead in the evening, if I go watch a movie in the cinema I have to spend money on the tickets, snacks and drinks, gas and parking. If I go out with friends to a bar I have to buy expensive drinks. So staying home in the evening and using the money instead at a casino is fun too. There I have atleast the chance to win back some money.

That is the biggest motivator of gamblers who have low income and live in countries with low salaries and low standard of life compared to the Western developed countries and societies where you will see that gambling is not at the same level as there is in the so called "3rd world" countries.In such countries people will do whatever it takes to came out of such misery,most of them emigrate in the West but many that remain see gambling as a real way or source that some day when they hit a big win or a big jackpot they can immediately catapult themselves in a better status to society.
