This is actually good that you pointed this out not like most casino will hide behind their T&C and will advice people to make use of VPN to by pass the restriction. But this leave me to this question.

What about those who are from countries which are not mentioned among your restricted countries from playing in your casino let me take (Nigeria for example) people from here are allowed to play and use the service but as a gambler who want to hide his privacy I mean protect his location can such person make use of Tor and be safe as they can still prove that they are from a none restricted country through KYC proceedings.

This goes the same as using a VPN and will be at your own risk. We won't be held responsible for any issues you may encounter.

Thanks for the clarification, it got little confused and I believe others should have also had the same question.
People are privacy conscious most times and they can make mistake by just trying to hide their location from being known.

Why Sherbet prohibits so many countries? Many other casinos allow users from most of those countries but I'm amazed to see that Sherbet is prohibiting so many countries users from using the services. I agree with the VPN part as using of VPN is unnecessary on a casino site and most of the casinos don't like VPN users because the VPN users are mostly from restricted countries and they won't be able to complete their KYC as well.

I don't think the number of countries in the list is too many, just similar to most of the casinos if you visit the ToS page of casinos you can find a list that looks like this one, and it's due to the restriction of license provider. Usage of VPN is not allowed because people can abuse the promotions with multiple systems so casinos don't allow VPN but some casinos allow VPN usage as long as it's for the user's privacy and if they find suspicious activity then surely the account will be reviewed.

We don't actually need VPN if our country is not prohibited so for other on the prohibited list maybe they shouldn't do anything called illegal and better to read their TOS first before trying to use any tool that might give a issue to them.

There are game providers that restrict a country's access to their services while the casino does not restrict this country from accessing their site.  For example,  a slot provider Pragmatic play is not available in my country although my country is not on the restricted list of casinos but can access them through VPN.  Although some casino has no issue with the use of VPNs as long as the player is not from a restricted area,  though I might be missing some games when I am playing on the Sherbet platform, it is good to know that Sherbet has directly stated that they do not approve the use of VPN on their platform.

Maybe because they don want to have problem regarding on legal matters on said countries that's why they just decide to prohibit the access of people on states countries. And its good that they already said that they are not good to use VPN on their casino since it will be clear to all that they don't allow to use such tool to access their casino so for sure many question has been answer and I guess people should follow that to avoid any more further trouble that might happen to them in future.

I feel hence your not from the restricted countries mentioned, after doing your KYC, you can proceed in using it, because after a win you can  access your fund. On like the restricted countries that where mentioned, if you bypass the registration process and go ahead in opening an account by using VPN, It would be difficult access your funds after a win.

That's the reason why its better ask question to the right representative rather than assuming that its alright to use that since they are fine with VPN since country restrictions is one important matter that need to consider and if they try to bypass the restriction just to access the site then expect that they can get a huge problem with casino since for sure that they block their account due to restrictions issues.
Check their Terms of Service, FAQs and if you find something or even don't see anything about VPN, but need confirmation officially, ask the casino in support ticket, email or chat support.

Before using VPN, I always know there is risk to be detected and account can be frozen, terminated if VPN usage is actually a ToS violation. So I don't take risk if I don't get an official confirmation from the casino that it's fine and acceptable to use.

This is my first time am seeing a gambling company on its own taking the time to directly bring to the public notice  in their ANN thread countries they have restrictions in and clearly discouraging customers form those areas from using VPN due to an impending issues that can proceed from VPN use.

Based on this i see a bet company (sherbet) that's not all out just for customers money by hiding certain vital and useful informations from their T&C that some customers might not have the time to peruse through due to how elaborated and long written T&C's could be for some lazy gamblers. As a gambler I'll rather  take serious a gambling company that takes my interest serious.

Moreso, I am keen to learn about your reply to the question asked by @ever-young about the use of Tor even for countries that ain't restricted but being used for sake of privacy.
Thank you.

If he is too lazy to read the terms and conditions it is better to ask the live support as this feature is almost in all casinos and they will answer your questions immediately or he can also head to the FAQ section because that is one of the most common asked questions in any casino. But if ever the restriction is from the government then that is really a huge problem because you can't break it or if you do then you'll face huge consequences like getting banned from that casino as well as your funds in there.

Yes, Indonesia does prohibit gambling, but there are many active gamblers in our country. Of course this happens because it is easy to access online gambling services. Even though the government restricts access to gambling sites, we can use VPN. Of course, we choose a gambling site that allows VPN use and avoids KYC

Sometimes countries that prohibit gambling actually have lots of gamblers, because human nature is curious. The more forbidden it is, the more curious it becomes. Cheesy
It's very hard to find casino that accepts VPN and doesn't ask for KYC but it's even harder or almost impossible to find a casino that allows VPN and doesn't ask you for KYC documents even when you win a lot, that's the problem. If you are a small gambler and bet some bucks with no intention of winning a jackpot, then you can gamble on almost any website with VPN because you know, in case they ask for KYC, you are able to afford to lose your balance but the problem is, most of these gamblers are there for a jackpot.

Most casino accepts the use of VPN on their casino. The use of it to bypass country restrictions is what being forbidden by most of the casino when they mention VPN on their ToS. I use VPN regularly but using my own country IP since I have a default VPN open whenever I open my device for my privacy on searching web.

On his case, No casino will accept him even if the casino allows VPN since it’s for the purpose of bypassing their country restrictions about online gambling.

Its not good to force ourselves to play on any casino especially if they have rules set and for those gambler better to read the rules so that they would know if there country is listed there so they can't proceed and find another casino that doesn't implement that and they can play without worrying anything like this issues.

Its good that he could learn from the topic discuss here or even on outside of this thread since it can save them to avoid issues in future.

I played sherbet a few times. I made a deposit of around $20 - $50 and I had no problems withdrawing. I never deposited a lot of money and also never withdrew a lot of money so I was never asked for KYC. Currently the Sherbet site can still be accessed from Indonesia without using a VPN, it seems my country's government has not identified this site

I always use a VPN when gambling but I've never had a problem, I don't know if I won the jackpot because the biggest withdrawal I made was only about $250

The sports section is already advertised in their signature so I guess they are at the final stage of implementing the sportsbook but they want to make sure everything works fine before allowing users to bet on it that is why still not available but their representative mentioned they are working on it so chances of seeing sport betting feature is not too far.
It's good to see more and more crypto gambling sites adding sportsbook sections through similar providers these days though they should focus on optimising it thoroughly in order to minimise complaints.

If you want to be more safe, a use of a VPN may further prevent your ISP to know if you access the gambling sites but then keep in mind the terms and conditions of the gambler's site for vpn usage.
Also, it's better to always contact and confirm with the customer support before using VPNs at any gambling site.

Even though your country prohibits gambling, but you can still play online gambling as long as the gambling site does not restricts your location. I do not know about Sherbet if they allow gamblers from Indonesia but generally speaking, it should not be a problem for anyone from Indonesia  to access the online gambling sites and gambling without the government or the authorities would never come to know about it.
