I so agree to this, don't ever buy useless tokens or coins for BTC, do the opposite . Whenever you got a non-popular from bounties or airdrops, use it and sell for BTC. Just keep on accumulating BTC whenever possible with your spare tokens/coins

I too have invested in coins which later turns out a bad investment, I think this is the right definition of shitcoins; a coin which results in bad investment because it is worthless.
Most team once they have achieved or gotten the neccessry funding they need will either dump the project or come up with excuses which will then drag the price totally down and still at the end they will abandon the project, thus bad investment and totally disappointing.
Nevertheless, there are good ones out there worth the attention.

In my own way, I see shitcoins as coins whose developers or team has abandoned thus resulting to nothing but a waste, that is to say it is valueless. So a coin with this characteristics is not far from being a shitcoin thus disappointing investors. Which is why it is important to always research every project or coin before investing.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to wrecking and regretting.

we are trying to invest in better currency but in sometimes it will not valuable and our time and work to spend and analyse about the investment will definitely paste that's why this type of coins are always giving stress and tension after not valuable.

Nobody guarantee you something on this market, the projects have no experience in the market, so fails are here and everyday. If the profits are 70% and fails are only 30% than it means your are good enough succeed.

I was a victim of many shitcoins and I don't want to start naming the coins ,since 2017 I was holding on to these coins and many of them are already dead or worthless ,I learned the hard way so far but thanks to that failure moves Im more wiser now

Buying shitcoin is a waste of money or investment. It will have no market value and at the long run it will fade or die cause there won't be any buy orders. I have a lot of shit coins that is not worth anything now.

Shitcoins have no value and in the long run will eventually die off. There is no reason to buy shitcoins or hold it after getting it as rewards probably during bounty programs. The rate at which shitcoins are getting generated for different projects is alarming and should be put in check

A lot of shit coins around in market , but the question is how do you know this is shit coin,
look at the problem solving of the project, the team of the project are they active and can implement the road map they set for the project, the community of the project, if this conditions met even if they have setback they will recover and coin will be fine at the end of the day.

Of the 2000+ cryptocurrencies presently on the coinmarketcap, and the hundreds more still in their token sale phase only a handful are top projects, with the other lacking utility and having little to no market value. These are the shitcoins and with no market value, there will be low demand for the coins and this will lead to devaluation of the cryptocurrency from which the holders will loose money in their investment.

Well, that looks like their nature because they have nothing to offer to whomever that invest in them so, they end up disappointing.
Most are as a result of inefficiencies of the team or as a result of the team exiting scam either on getting to exchange or after public sale. Therefore it is necessary to look pass the hype and focus on the team, so that there will be little or no shitcoins in the future.
