consider it entertainment so that you don't get lost in the sadness of having worthless shitcoins. I think shitcoin will be around forever, and we shouldn't think about it. maybe it's better for us to just leave shitcoin until it really becomes trash

Like most of you guys, i have tons of shitcoins in my wallets and trying to look at it from the bright site. I was wondering, what if there will be a market for collectable early shitcoins in the far future. I am talking about rare shitcoins that left some mark in the crypto world like most notorious exit scams or hacked coins or biggest pump and dump coins or first meme coins...
I wouldnt be surprised if we see a market for those in 20 years, at least that is how i cheer myself up when i see my wallets Cheesy

From thousands of shit coins that exist, maybe only a few can survive for a long time  because in fact many projects that are abandoned or end up with no value at all they completely forgotten by people and abandoned by their developer, and honestly I'm not really interested in what you're doing. because there are many new projects that have potential compared to choosing a coin whose hype is over or ends with no value at all. maybe if you still really want do that choose coin that exist today and potential will success in few years later i think that is much better than looking for dead shitcoin.

Many coin wallets no longer work.
I don't understand what can be sold in 20 years.
It is better now to choose promising coins and start buying them little by little, because now about 1% of the world's population uses cryptocurrency. You will never lose with a strategy like this.

I don’t think there will be anything like that. The only way that shit coins can survive is if someone should kind of revive them and maybe they kind of start getting lots of investors who would be interested in investing in it and the price keeps growing, that’s the only way they can be revived.

Moreover I don’t think anyone will ever be interested in investing their money in shitcoins, so don’t even bother about them ‘cause no one would pick interest at all. So, if you have them the best thing you can do for yourself is either to sell them, and if that is not possible at all then you can just move on and look for other things to do. And moreover that’s why people are being told to invest in popular coins already or coins that you can trust.

That's an unique idea but I don't think that it will ever work. But who knows if there will be some people in the future that would love to have a collection of those shitcoins.
Well, there's no lose for you anymore if you're going to keep that if it's already zero value.
yes the possibility is always there but shitcoin I think the possibility is very small.
coins like this are only for the short term and it is feared if left too long the coins will die and indeed if it is like that no one can revive coins like this and will forever be worthless.
although there are indeed some who are hit by the pump suddenly, but the chances are small and even almost rare.
it doesn't matter if the shitcoin is obtained from the airdrop / bounty, for example, it doesn't matter if you want to try.
but if you try to buy the coin I think it's just a waste of your time and assets.
So it's best to just keep it and don't expect anything to return. We can all have our own versions of collections and the guy has his unique collection.
It wouldn't be a waste if the person has this intention to just keep it as a collection even it's worth nothing.
it's true, if it's stored as a collection it's not wrong, as for in the future if we are lucky there may be one shitcoin that can become a treasure for us even though the possibility is very small.
as for it doesn't happen like that, it's okay to think of it as you say, namely a collection, at least so that it will change our mindset so we don't always think that shitcoin can be valuable.
as for if it's really worth it someday (although the chances are small) that's a bonus Smiley

The term shitcoin is used in the world of cryptocurrencies. This word refers to cryptocurrencies that have very little value or even no value at all. The cryptocurrencies called shitcoins are basically worthless. For this reason, the word "shit" is used in shitcoins whose purpose is to devalue the currency. Generally, we get shitcoins from airdrops or from fraudulent projects, so they only have a name but do not have a definite market, obviously there is no price at all. , and shitcoin is also almost 90% you have in every crypto wallet, and makes our wallets full of them so that seeing the wallet becomes saturated
Indeed, right. Most of the airdrop coins are worthless and have no real case which obviously we can say that these coins will simply turn shit. That is why I don't encourage people to join this incentivize activity as later on, you only make yourself disappointed. I have some of them in my wallet and there is one thing I do is forget them. I'd never check them actually if they have a market value already as that was just a waste of time knowing that it can be impossible as for many years been stuck and seeing no changes happen.

If coins were something hard to make, every of them could be considered some sort of collectibles. But in reality, tokens are easy to issue and there's no real ticker or name on decentralized exchanges. i.e. there could be hundreds of coins with same ticker and name. That would make it much difficult to know which coin is which and you need to confirm the contract address every time you use them. In short, shitcoins would always be shit. It's better to exchange them if they still hold a value.

and regarding the coins left behind, it's true, when all the projects are left behind, the shitcoins will definitely die.
and that problem often traps us in investing in new projects.
they developed quite well at the start of the launch alone. then, in the long run, they slowly don't update and suddenly disappear.
even though it is listed on the exchange, but if there is news that the developer is no longer working, it will destroy their market.

Oh once again I remember my shitcoins that I thought could give me profitable earning after 5 months of holding. Unfortunately, all of them are now going down as Bitcoin dump. I didn't even have one shitcoin investment that give me profit. All of them are all loses of mine in shitcoin investment. I feel jealous to some that are so lucky in shitcoin investment. I hope one day me too will experience the profit from shitcoin. But I don't know if I will try to invest again. Only few shitcoin that can have a brighter future. Better to invest on the project that has good use case and huge community.

Some NFTs maybe will become true collectibles in future... Maybe Smiley
Altcoins - the forgotten ones - are just useless crap in your wallet. Nobody will care about them, they are boring Smiley
even so, NFT is indeed a very crazy hype for now but the problem that often arises when this kind of trend exists seems to be the same from year to year, namely it is too overhype so that many NFTs are useless, even though this is the reality here but it is very it's a shame when the NFT hype is now suddenly labeled as a scammer just like the ICO in 2017.
and regarding the coins left behind, it's true, when all the projects are left behind, the shitcoins will definitely die.

the comparison is very small.
indeed there is no certain logic and formula in the market and there may be a possibility as you say but the odds are one : a tousand coins or more than that maybe we don't know the exact amount.
but of the many shitcoins that exist I wouldn't be surprised if one soared like a doge because indeed anything can happen here and even though many fall and become useless, there could be one of your wallets that will become your treasure.

As per my estimate, the total number of cryptocurrencies created since 2011 stands at 15,000+. Out of them, at least 90% could be classified as shitcoins. In the future, there is a chance that at least some of these coins will get renewed attention, as some of the first generation cryptocurrencies (similar to people collecting old stamps, coins and currency notes). But the main issue is that in 99% of the cases, the users have themselves dumped these coins. Very few might have kept the wallet backups and all, after they became worthless.

It is unlikely that forgotten Shitcoins will become collectibles in the future. Typically, such coins were issued in large quantities and spread across many wallets of different people. They do not require any special efforts from their owners to preserve them. Cannot be damaged by long storage time. It would never occur to anyone to dispose of them forcibly. Therefore, they will not have any collectible value.

That looks like it's going to be hard to happen. Because what we know shitcoin only has hype once after that the owner will run away bringing its own profits so we will not see shitcoin back hype. This has happened often, from which we have to learn to re-research the coins we want to follow. So that our wallets are not filled with coins that have no price.

I wanted to asked if you experience the last bull run and it appears that you your account is even older, so. Definitely you saw the ICO maniac and you weren't actually told.
During the ICO frenzy, many project died and many of them who died and exited scam never return to the market.
I think you are trying to compare this shitcoins to the coins who had massive pumps like doge, but you should know that dodge has the volume and despite the joke out it, it was heavily bought by many developers, I believe you saw where vitalik acknowledged that he bought in millions before this bull run.

Anything can happen in crypto. That is what is always in my mind. Maybe in future there are exchange that accept all shitcoins and maybe only pump and dump to gain profit. What can be problem maybe the fees which can also bigger than our estimated balance and to send all that coins will need a lot of fees since we can't send it in bulk and should be 1 by 1.

I wouldn't expect it regardless. Sure, it might get revived in the next decades or so, but let's see how would those even last long. They are just one dump away from investors. That certain "NFT" popular here in my country are just few coins to get one already and I believe that it was really hyped in my area a lot and now that hype drains out really quick, it is now almost not reported a lot in here.
I don't think they have the chance to recover in the future but rather expect them to become worthless or dead just like the other shitcoins were it has already been abandoned by their developers. As the competition keeps stronger and stronger, the more it is likely to happen with these shitcoins rather than seeing them in the rally. In fact, for how many shitcoins that I have, I'd never see any of them get back to life but instead of seeing them at $0.
Dont anticipate if you dont like to get frustrated because when the market had dumped it up then it does signify that interest is already close to zero which i dont really see for it to be worth something in the future.
Although we cant really tell since everything could be possible on this unpredictable on this market and if you do have tons of shit coins on your wallet then its your choice whether you do hold it up or not.
On my part ive just trying to forget all of those coins sitting down on my wallet but im not really forgetting on checking it out for sometime if there are some coins did really get some value
but dont hope that much.
