Like most of you guys, i have tons of shitcoins in my wallets and trying to look at it from the bright site. I was wondering, what if there will be a market for collectable early shitcoins in the far future. I am talking about rare shitcoins that left some mark in the crypto world like most notorious exit scams or hacked coins or biggest pump and dump coins or first meme coins...
I wouldnt be surprised if we see a market for those in 20 years, at least that is how i cheer myself up when i see my wallets Cheesy
Nope. I doubt its going to work. Once a shit coin dies, its never going to go back up. They are also never going to be "future collectibles". There are thousands or millions of dead shit coins on peoples wallet. If the price do go back "because they become rare", one guy or another will eventually recover his wallet and dump all his coins. Dead shit coins have no value. They will never have any in the future. If you are collecting, then just collect. Don't collect with the hope of becoming rich in the future. Also how will you transact with those coins once the network die?

I wouldn't expect it regardless. Sure, it might get revived in the next decades or so, but let's see how would those even last long. They are just one dump away from investors. That certain "NFT" popular here in my country are just few coins to get one already and I believe that it was really hyped in my area a lot and now that hype drains out really quick, it is now almost not reported a lot in here.

Who now about in the future but this concept is new. I have been hold lots of shitcoins for several years but i didn’t any profit from those coins because still there are no values. So i don’t expect shitcoins will be collectibles in the near future.

Some NFTs maybe will become true collectibles in future... Maybe Smiley
Altcoins - the forgotten ones - are just useless crap in your wallet. Nobody will care about them, they are boring Smiley

Yes, you are right to let go of the disappointment of the results of shitcoins that were obtained from hard work and effort but still not yielding sweet results and dreaming if that happens. But we must always look at the reality that we must left behind because in the future there will be more shitcoins that will appear in cryptocurrencies.

You can cheer yourself all you want, just think about your situation and decide whether you will be purchasing something that does not makes any sense thinking that it is collectibles. You need to find someone who is talented enough to sell that kind of bullshit pitch so that you can find someone that could fall for these shit coins Tongue . No one in the right sense would purchase them and that is what i am saying.

It is uncertain, people will just move on and forget that we hold shitcoins as these coins have no use at all. You may consider this as collectible but never think that it gains attraction 20 years from now as no one will be able to think it either (maybe just only you).
Well, to have these coins is a part of our crypto life. But having this experience thought us something that crypto investment is risky and that is why we should be careful in choosing a coin to buy and certainly, we never have to rush but it needs searches.
Shitcoin remains a shitcoin forever because there will be no development and also no price at all even though waiting for years still won't change, and the fact that we have gone through all these years and own a shitcoin in fact remains a shitcoin.
Yes I think many of them especially those who have been in this industry for a long time forget that they have shitcoins and focus more on potentially profitable coins, because having shitcoins when checking them always doesn't change and remains a shitcoin.

Shitcoin is not a good long term investment. Back in 2017, I remember holding Dimecoin and SUBX. I also dream of making millions from tokens like this. Even a few thousand dollars is fine.
Like most coins, they don't go anywhere or become inactive. I have seen a lot of coins come and go. Most had 15 minutes of fame before fading into obscurity. Bubbles exist. The empty promise of huge profits leads many people into a vicious cycle bouncing from one shitcoin to another.

Well.. who knows for sure? I have been in to cryptocurrency for almost a decade and I still don't understand it completely. Sometimes shitcoins like Doge go up and manage to find a place in top-5 list. And at the same time, promising projects like Stellar Lumens, Monero and Deep Onion fail to get attention from the investors. There is no logic with the market sometimes. And I won't be too surprised if the dead coins become valuable at some time in the future. But in my case, it will be extremely difficult to recover them. I stored most of them in exchange wallets, and lost these coins when the exchanges delisted them. And in most cases, the exchanges also no longer exist.
the comparison is very small.
indeed there is no certain logic and formula in the market and there may be a possibility as you say but the odds are one : a tousand coins or more than that maybe we don't know the exact amount.
but of the many shitcoins that exist I wouldn't be surprised if one soared like a doge because indeed anything can happen here and even though many fall and become useless, there could be one of your wallets that will become your treasure.

the same thing with you there are a lot of shitcoins in my wallet, but not all shitcoins will die in the near future, don't know if in the next 20 years
the value of coins cannot be predicted, not only shitcoin for the main coin is also difficult to guess, In Cryptocurrencies there are often unexpected surprises, I hope that in the future the shitcoin I hold will surprise me and give me a big profit.

These shitcoins lose their value due to a lack of use, and there are no rare shitcoins. They are all the same & created for their creator to profit from investors who believe in them.  Developers create collectibles for valuable items, not for useless items, let these shitcoins remain shit and dead coins.

Don't keep shitcoin too long because if it's too long, it will make a mess of the wallet. But among the many shitcoins there must be some that have a price. That's the experience I've had.
When it comes to shitcoins, I'm sure you know more about shitcoins. hhhh

Old shitcoins going back to the market? I don't think so, but who knows in the future if there is a market for the old shitcoins that has already dead for a long time, maybe there is some people like to buy or collecting it especially those famous scam coins like bitconnect, it's like NFT you know.

There are many possibilities that could happen, no one can be sure. but I think if every coin has a chance, if its value suddenly drops it's not impossible if the next day it will suddenly rise. Likewise with shitcoins, even though these coins have gone down and down even some people don't care about them anymore, but in the future who knows if one of them will have value. This is indeed an uncertainty but there is hope, you don't give up.

These new shitcoins that were suddenly emerging in the market are an instant red flag for me. I don't want to waste my time and money on most of them. As much as possible, don't fall from their sweet promises of massive profit returns. If I were you, I would rather put my hard-earned money into a more established and stable project that has been around in the business for several years already. A project with steady development progress. The like of Stakenet XSN is a perfect example.

Shitcoins maximum time always shitcoin and not have a good future, it’s for only short time trading, but It's can drastically reduced at any time in near future so i prefer to avoid this type of coin for my economical safety.
For the sake of economic security, I will also do as you do. Shitcoin is very risky to lose, because the demand is very small in the market so it will make it difficult for the price to move. Every trader will always avoid untested coin, especially shitcoin that have not been able to show quality in the market. There are so many quality coin that we can buy, Moreover, the goal when you first entered the crypto world was just to increase the contents of your wallet. If there are still quality coin, why should we choose useless coin.

I don't think there is gonna be any market in the future for these shit coins. Only assets that hold some importance in the present day witness a price increase in the future, And these shits don't hold any significance in the market, hence i don't think with time their value as such would increase

Since we know there are a lot of dead project in past although they are success before, i think it is nearly impossible to happen. Because who want to buy it is only people who only want to collect without getting profit from it. And maybe no one or maybe 1-2 people who only want to do it and it can't be compared with how much people who want to sell their shit coins/tokens.

Given the NFT craze, I think that it is possible.

A lot of the earlier NFTs & altcoins are going to go obsolete in a few years time.

But there are still going to be people that cyclically revive them and treat them as almost joke-tokens. Is that a reason to invest in these tokens? Absolutely not. But it is also reason not to short them aggressively as you could be the target of a short squeeze (look at DOGE).
