It all depends on your trading appetite if you what a bigger return of investment then go for long if you what not soo big yet safe investment then go short, but as bitcoin is getting more higher better to hold it for long
When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so).

Long term investment I think, is much profitable than short term investment. It is obviosu that if an investment is good for a long run, the profit will be bigger in the future. Especially with Bitcoin which market value is continuously increasing. As an investment, Bitcoin is more benefitial as a long term investment knowing that its price is expected to be more expensive in the future. It is based on the investors if one who needs money immediately then he could go for short term like less than a year or if a person who is earning good money from his profession then he can go to long term for his savings.The profit is based on how long you will keep your bitcoin so long term investment more profits.

No matter it is long or short term investment, the most important is you have earned profit. Although we accept the reality that can generate more profit from long term investment but we can also get it from short term if you really know how to play. Because it is important in engaging investment is you trully dedicate your time and effort for the success, otherwise you may loss and can't survive the competition.
in my opinion for me long term investment becuase the interest it will increase than the short term investment
It depends on your need.for me i will go long term investment.. short term investment is good, specially when emergency happens, you can quickly access/withdraw but it has low interest, the long term investment secure you future, even though it is risky but it has good interest that will be back to you.
There are many circumstances if an investment should be long term or short term you have to look at some factors or metrics that will determine if you should invest in long term or not. For instance bitcoin this digital currency is gaining value every year and has some insane price leaps surely it goes down sometimes but the price returns to normal and even continue's to rise. An investment should be long term for when the time comes to retire or to use that money, you will have some.
Long term investment is a better choice. Take a reliable source of investment and invest for few years where the return is 100% guaranteed, I know nothing is 100% sure but you can still try for 99.9% because short term investment might be more beneficial, but they are really create continuous headache in your mind about loss and profit. Mind peace is more necessary than anything else. So, trying long term investment is a better choice.
From my personal perspective, bitcoin should be really be a long term investment now. It is not what is looks like though in the beginning. It was just for micro-payments structure, however when people saw that you can actually store your wealth in bitcoin wallet, let it rest there for a while and see it grows overtime in becomes one of the best long term investment you can have.
As for short term investment, it is also good as well because you can earn a substantial financial gain in a very short amount of time. You realized and hold your profits immediately, but risk is there, and if you don't know how to mitigate it, your short term investment will be wipe out from you without knowing it.
So its really a choice and depends what the individual is capable as far as his money goes. If he/she is a risk taker and wants to see profits instantly, then short term is most appropriate, but if you don't want pressure and tension, then go long term with minimum of 3 - 5 years.

The answer will depend on your motive for investing,both are obviously good but when two things are involved one will be better than the other so for one to have proper yield for an investment it is better to go for long term investment so that the yield will increase continuously
The advatage of having a long term investment is that, you have assurance of getting back your money and surely having a good profit. Because you have a long time to recover from all expenses at the start, and with than certain range of time you can diversfy or just make some modification of your business for a 100% profit in a long run.While having a short time business, it is important that you have only a little amount of expenses for you to recover it immediately and be sure that you have investing with a high potential gaining project even in a short period of time.

its absolutely a long term investment program. no one gets a high profits or let say they get back their ROI in a short term investment program, so for me, the wise decision to decide is to choose a long term investment, for more secure and surely gets back the ROI and also to gain/have more profits.

short-term investment is a form of investment with the goal or which is expected to immediately provide income within a shorter time. This is because to support the needs of daily living that must and must be met, then obtaining fresh funds through a short-term investment model is the most appropriate choice.
The short term investment is not so more good for generating the high income, short term investment does not give you right idea to make more income from the bitcoin while the long term investment is good for generating the high income from bitcoin also it give you more idea about the bitcoin to generate income more then short term investment.
For me it is good to have long term investment. Because a long term it means you will have a long time to wait but the profit you will gain it is much bigger of course than the normal term or short term. Even you waited in a long term investment you can plan another things on how will you manage your investments in a good way. And there are saying the More You Wait The More You Will Gain at the End.
