I choose a long-term investment, because life is now getting harder and harder, then by investing in the long term there is still a picture of life for the future, if the short term means the same I do not think about the future for tomorrow. that's my opinion.
Right now I am only doing some short trade in alts ,

In my own opinion, I prefer a long term investment and why ? , Because i want to secure my future. I invest on bitcoins and still have a day job but sometimes i also do trading in the market if there is a huge pump and that's how i earn profit by just buy and selling.
I would say that for best result and optimum profit you should combine both. Divide your coins for these two purposes, biger amount for long term investment and smaller one for short term investment like daily trading or maybe small amount short term lending. The profit you make on short term or at least part of it invest further on long term sum. This would be my strategy.
In this situation as bitcoin volatility is high you will be surprise that the spread on contract for deference is large also so instead i hold bitcoin for long for good, my investment type is more safer but small return
Go for long as bitcoin will grow for more next year and as popularity grows so the new and advance investors eye too so if you have bitcoin save something for long,

I think both depending on each individual if he wanted to the short term can and for the long run also can, depending on his or her needs, due to the long run also look good with the development of the great number of people who were interested in bitcoin and the value of great became an attraction bitcoin

In my opinion, both investment is good, there is no best between the two. It all depends on your skills and risk tolerance. I personally am investing in long term and treating it like a savings account, at the same time, I'm also doing short term trading on some of the alts. One needs to study the chart movement and volume traded on an altcoin before doing trading.
For me, it depends on the kind of investment you made. Sometimes short-term investments are better than long-term ones and vice versa. For different investments, you made lies many factors that will let you gain as much as possible. There could be some investments that are better to invest in a short period of time rather a long one and there are investments that are better to invest for a long time like bitcoin in which the value is getting more and more appreciated as time passes by.
I think long-term investments are more certain than short-term investments and long-term investments are more profitable than short-term.

Long term investment I think, is much profitable than short term investment. It is obviosu that if an investment is good for a long run, the profit will be bigger in the future. Especially with Bitcoin which market value is continuously increasing. Invest in short term will sure the posible income quickly without worrying this site that you are invested will not close.
if you want a quick earnings then you can have the short term investment. This investment is ideal to anyone wwho wants a fastest income but a less earnings than the long term investment. In long term investments, it is a very long process that needs time and you need to wait a long peroid to earn but this is a very large amount of earnings.
If I were to chooses which one I want to engage with, I will choose the short term investments, because only this type of investments I can afford.

I think long term would be better if the capital is strong enough to withstand the losses , in long term investment it should be a big money to produce basically to have make profit. Long term investment does not work on low capital as it will only profit rationally. Bitcoin is not always increases so your investment should be able to big enough resist the decreasing of value also.
You need to invest. You will learn the market information. It will good to for the future growth. You will learn the information for the future investmet. If need to invst you will choose it. Which will be run long you will invest long time. If need to invest short time. You will gather it which tome to it will close or low. Then you will invest next prices. It doesn't matter of short or long the investment is, its about how much profit can we get from that investment. If we can get many profit for short term investment, why we choose long term investment, I think its clear, its about profit that we can earn.

In my own opinion, i think long term investment is better than short term investment in terms of bitcoin. It is because bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies have the capability to increase or lower their price from time to time. As of today, bitcoin's price is continously rising thats why more people are starting to invest into it. Long term investment means you will invest your money for a long time until you can get a profit for about 1000% of money that you invest. If holding it for long yes it will be profitable also but right now the spread in some investment like contract for deference in bitcoin i foud it not good for short deals.
It all depends on your trading appetite if you what a bigger return of investment then go for long if you what not soo big yet safe investment then go short, but as bitcoin is getting more higher better to hold it for long
Yes, I estimate that most of us here really want bigger returns so they are going for long term hold, and besides its worry free. You just have to buy bitcoin and then do nothing and came back after 1 year and see how your money grows.
For short term though, like 3-6 months I guess its also good. Its not that big but at least you have a steady flow of cash after withdrawing your profit.
I also think that for short, much better to go to altcoins like Ethereum and Litecoin now. But for long term, its still bitcoin. So its your choice and make the best decision based on what you think is right for you.
