Then how much did you hold last year, decent amount of bitcoin that you've held last year then sold 50% last December which is the time ATH was kicking and the Fomo is at the atmosphere then you got some good profits back then, hold you bitcoin in my opinion, too late to sell as you are getting some losses take the bear market advantage you've got some bitcoin last March 2017 and the price was $1k+ back then.

This present downtrend has a lifetime support at $5800 which can be confirmed by looking at BTC last some support test. So, if you are holding till now, selling at this point really doesn't make any sense. It is better to HODL a bit more and wait for some bullish moves. I expect that trend will change near year end.

You can hold all your bitcoin even you bought bitcoin in december 2017 . Bitcoin down more than 60 percent from the highest price last year 2017. Just be patient and you will get what is your goal don't give up. Because better to hold instead of selling.

I bought some bitcoin in March 2017, sell half of it in Dec 2017 and hodl the other half since then. The current downward trend seem to last for a very long time and I'm quite upset about it. What do you guys think? Should I hodl or sell all my BTC now?

Patience is a virtue bro. Smiley

if you can still afford to hodl it and don't need the money yet. I would suggest thay you hodl it. It's pretty hard to tell if bitcoin would recover to the point where you'll earn or even have your investment back, but atleast bitcoin has been having good news right now. Maybe it could affect the future prices.
that's why we need more money while we decided investing in bitcoin.we still met our daily needs when bitcoin still move down.and able to hold our asset untill it give us huge profit.

It can be said that bitcoin is an additional investment, never rely on bitcoin for main income or to meet daily needs, if prices drop then we panic and sell even if we lose, there must be income other than bitcoin, so we can hold for a long time.

yes of course you have to continue the bitcoin hold you have because when you hold the bitcoin that you have you can get a lot of profit and don't be afraid that the price of bitcoin will increase in price every year because the total supply of bitcoin is very limited and the demand very high will affect the price movement of bitcoin.
your right better if you do not be afraid to hold bitcoin because before you invest you can first what is the consequence of this. But remember bitcoin will recover again and we will get more profit now if we have unity to hold and to buy more bitcoin.

You will keep hodling bitcoins because of the money. Iy is not being greedy to wait for the bitcoins to rise back up again it is being wise because we all know that it will really happen. So if you wanted the profit that you can have now if you are satisfied with that value then sell it but if you wanted more or just even to match what you have gain last year then hodl for a while it will pump again for sure.

Take a look at the chart that shows prices from the last 3 years. You can clearly see that corrections usually end at around 70-80% drop, so there's not much to go down. We are already here after losing 14k USD in value. Now it's a question of 5800 or maybe 5500, or maybe 5200? So, while 3 months ago people were pointing at numbers that were apart from each other by 5000 USD they are now aiming at targets within 1000 USD.
The truth is you don't have much to gain or to lose anymore. The time to sell was when we failed to break 10k USD, so if you held then you can as well hold now.
Continue holding the coins that is declining to 70-80% seems absurd to do as a rational trader. Instead of waiting for so many months to reap the profit or breakeven of your investment in bitcoins, why don't you sell off and invest in other assets that look valuable.

the safest choice and to avoid loss is to hold and wait for the price to rise again so that you will get profit, but if you have already made a profit then you can sell it or you can hold to get more profit

The best thing is just holding your coins and wait for the highest price because selling it immediately will not bring you more opportunity in the market.

Yes i think that price of BTC will surely increase in coming months  so selling them at that time is more beneficial as compare to selling right now.Try to hold them for some more time and keep on investing in it so that in coming months you should get a huge profit.Try to have patience and stay calm.Panic selling will contribute to dump so try to hold as longer as you can.Just remember patience in case of investment is key to success.

Now the price of bitcoin in the market is declining. So do not sell bitcoin now.I think bitcoin prices will reach $20000 buy the end of this year.So hold it is good.At the end of March last year the price of bitcoin was $1020.99.But currently the price of bitcoin is $6244.If you sell bitcoin now I think you will get $5000 profit.
Yeah you should hold your coins because these days are not for selling your bitcoin. The price is very low and selling means losing your money. The price wills increase with the passage of time. You should wait for that item if you want to make huge money from your investment. Don’t be panic about the current situation of the market. It will end up soon.

if you can still afford to hodl it and don't need the money yet. I would suggest thay you hodl it. It's pretty hard to tell if bitcoin would recover to the point where you'll earn or even have your investment back, but atleast bitcoin has been having good news right now. Maybe it could affect the future prices.

well, if you still have bitcoin to bear, then hold it, because many people predict that, bitcoin prices by the end of 2018 will be very high. even if we do not know whether that is true or not, we must definitely prepare for it.

Exactly. That's how the best traders do it. Bitcoin seems to be struggling lately, it hasn't been able to move much higher in the past week or so. It's a good thing not to need it right now because it should be gathering enough energy to move higher again soon. Unless someone steps in with a massive short position, which I really hope doesn't happen. There were some pretty violent moves yesterday but it bounced back right away.

It's already bounced down and back up 5% twice now from the 8000 range, what's next?

it is true waiting for a long time is quite tired. we must have extra patience to get what we expect. it's better to hold it, because the bitcoin is now recovered and pump immediately. Your patience will be paid off with satisfactory results.

You should definitely keep holding, try to wait for the bullish season to take over, where the prices of Bitcoin and altcoins are really high otherwise you will regret it later on. Try to be patient for the bearish season is almost over, its been proven for the past few years that the Bitcoin has the capability to recover even to its lowest value.

Yeah you should hold your bitcoin as long as you can because the price today is very low and if you sell your holding you will lose your investment. The future is bright of bitcoin and the price will grow again in the future. You just need to be patient and cool. Crypto investment is for long term and especially these days are not for sale besides for holding.

Patience will be the determinant whether you will benefit or even lose. This is a natural thing nowadays because cryptocurrencies are still in development stage, significant increases and declines are still influenced by a manipulation. So rest assured that cryptocurrencies will develop in the future. Hold as long as possible and we wait for the right time to achieve a bright future with cryptocurrencies.
