I am thinking of the next halving which will occure somewhen in the middle of 2020. Before the last halving everybody was expecting a big rise in bitcoin price at the point of the halving, but the actual price increase came before the halfing. I think it will be similar this time, only that now everybody is expecting that the price increase will come weeks/months before the halfing. In order that I don't have to buy when everybody else does, I buy a lot sooner than the rest. And that would be in 2018. That is why my theory says 2018 is a good year for bitcoin investment.

Yes you should invest in Bitcoin this year before it starts a bullish season. These months are the best for investment and it reminds me the early days of bitcoin last year. We had chinese fud and segwit and fork fud in the early 2018, price even dropped below 1000 dollars. Now all the people gained a lot since those days. Any buy below 10k usd is a steal in my opinion.
