You can simply compare the long term growth that is has experienced in the last months, with it's ups and downs but overall there's a growth in it, altcoins on the other hand look really stagnant and slow to get some profits, ICO are good but there's alot of scams nowadays so I'd rather stay away from them.

This year is nit for the ICO rather this year is to fill your crypto bags with a lot of coins! Because every coin reached at a low price after a long time. So, it is the best time to buy bitcoin and altcoins and hold them for a long time. You have to care about choosing good altcoins, most of the altcoins are not good. Choose altcoins from the top 50 regarding coinmarketcap ranks.

Invest in good projects. There are not many such projects, but you should choose good projects. Be careful with investing in ICO. Any investment is risky, choose only those projects that are really quality. You need to be confident in projects and invest only in the best projects. Just buy good tokens

To be honest, I'm not professional at ICO projects. I think that now it is more worth concentrating on trading, because this can be the good income in the crypto. But If you find good project, with strong team and you can invest in the long term small % of your portfolio, then it's ok strategy too.

Try all options, then you gain experience. Now I stopped investing in ICO, I prefer existing altcoins.it is more appropriate to my investment strategy. I don't like freezing money.

Ideally you should invest in all 3 directions. This will help to diversify your money, so the chance of losing the entire amount will be much less.

To invest in ICO is very risky because you can lose all your money if the project closes or coins will not go up. But if the project is popular that coins can very quickly rise and you will get good profit

I have the experience invested in ICO before, if you have the project when to invest, you must reading their whitepaper, team member, roadmap, and anything you can find it, there are many scam ICO everyday, there are half is the scam project, and half is the real project, so you need to analyse which is the scam before you want to invest it.
without doing that thing ,it can be difficult for us to find best ico projects.evenmore today many scam project in the market that harmed new investor

You should rely on the development team of the project to be truly reliable. You shouldn't choose projects with development teams who are newcomers.

I would break my capital into three parts: 70% - bitcoin, 20% - altcoins, 10% - ICO. Ico is still very risky investments, especially in the current market

For me I prefer to invest in Altcoins and BTC only because ICOs investment is very risky and mostly the price feed to the exchange market is very low and not its promise ICOs price thats the reason why some of investors are losing their investment if they tend to sell it.

I think it's better to invest in altcoin than ico right now because Altcoin is now very cheap and you can earn a great deal of cheap altcoin with potential but not all altcoin have the potential to increase the other because the price is not rising so it's better to check first.

I think you should wait for BTC to $ 4k or $ 5k and buy into altcoin for cheap. then hold for months to 1 year is the safest. Investment in ICO at this time is quite risky

While the crypto market is downtrend then you should choose some good ICO projects to invest. According to myself, the projects of Krypital group are quite good, eg:  eloncity, soar, ...

I believe that for newcomers to the market, crypto investments in ICO can be a rather risky step. Therefore, to begin with, it's better to invest in BTC and ETH.

Right now it is better to refrain from investing in ICO, almost all then cheaper after entering the exchanges.
