In my opinion nowadays is not good situation on the whole crypto market to invest, may be into Bitcoin only or some of the TOP crypto currencies. Nowadays it is better to hold some coins. But it is my opinion.
Investing in ICO is very risky, most projects nowadays don't reach their ICO price and the ones that do reach ICO price dumps immediately they list on Exchanges.
Yes, you can invest in bitcoin, some top altcoin like ethereum, litecoin, or top ICO, because tokens from ico campaign can bring you a great profit in future.
There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth
Now you can invest in good coins very little chance that you will get into a big drawdown, but if the ico is definitely need to think about it 
Bitcoin is so weak now, and fall of this thing will continue. Buying of altcoin wold to be better in next yearm I think. ICO's just have many scams. So, it's better to buy Altcoins.
now a days so many projects fails, so many investor decided to leave crypto. even though still investor thinik and searching for a good peoject to invest.i think bitcoin is the best option to invest.

the market now is bearish and the most of ico projects fail or trade at lower level of tokensale range so i advice you to keep a way
At present, i have invested partly in BITCOIN and partly in ALTCOINS. In altcoins i prefer mostly ETHEREUM. I do not know much about ICO INVESTMENT, but can assure you gains in BITCOIN and ALTCOINS INVESTMENT.

It's a very good advice. Most of my assets are in BTC and ETH, and investing in ICOs was risky so I stayed away from it. Now I can risk 20% and invest in some new good project if I find one.

Definitely not safe, so many scams and so many projects that quickly die after starting work, as their capitalization drops to almost zero after the IPO.
