We have an equation for analyzing a project through their website, white paper, media etc. But, what's good for me is not necessarily good for you, So! you must have your own assessment standards to determine the quality of ICO project.
If you already have it then you will be easy to know which project is suitable for you to invest

It seems that you are more interested in ico than bitcoin and altcoin. But I think it might be safer to invest in some coins. Maybe some altcoin, while trying one or two ico in small portions first.

You should diversify is more like the answer here because it is never wise to put all of your money into a single place. Start by investing in bitcoin as that is the first cryptocurrency your money should go into. Then get some altcoins, some really good altcoins which you can hold for the long term and finally, start looking at ICOs to start investing in.

Investing in bitcoin ,altcoin and even ICO is worth it but make sure you have limit . Because even it's have potential you get profit you can also lose capital. Because we don't know when bitcoin and altcoin dump or decrease the price so be ready and invest only the extra money incase you lose your capital that you invested you cant cry because you have support which is your other money.

There is absolutely nothing saying that you cannot invest in all three.

In fact investing in just one would seem pretty bad of a decision to make. ICOs are extremely volatile and risky investments to make, altcoins are a little less risky since the initial launch phase has already passed, and BTC is probably the one coin that you want to hold for the long run.

Construct your portfolio this way - 25% ICO tokens, 50% altcoins, and 25% BTC. That is a healthy portfolio imo. It is true that ICO interest has died down a bit, which means that you need to not only diversify into all three categories of investments, but also pick your ICOs carefully so that you don't get negative returns.

I agree with your opinion here. Diversifying your funds is the best answer to the question posted by op, but I would specify different percentages. I would have invested:

-40% BTC
-30% Altcoins
-30% ICO tokens

My primary reason for investing heavily into Bitcoin is due to the possibility of acquiring huge profits in the long term. I would invest equal amounts into both altcoins and ICO tokens separately since both are far more volatile than Bitcoin and there is a chance to earn insane profits from both in the short term which is my reasoning here. Don't invest all your funds into a single op which would be a poor way of investing in my opinion.

I think the risk of investing in ICO projects is too high. There are many scams in ICO. It is recommended to invest in bitcoin and altcoin. Both markets are more stable and have certain market prospects.

Exactly. Investing to things with high uncertainty would make your income also uncertain, but when investing with BTC or Altcoiins return of income is pretty certain, considering the steady growth of BTC and ETH (for now) is the best choice.

Another suggestion would be, if you have a lot of money to invest with, is to invest in all of them. This would diversify and increase the possibility of you making a lot of money and as well as lowering the risk of losing all your money into one.

In terms of risk, the ICOs are the most risky and BTC is the least risky out of the three options. Established alts such as XMR, LTC and ETH will come somewhere in between. So make the decision based on your risk-taking capacity.

I think if you want to invest in the ICO, make sure you know the projects and you read all their details. I think to invest in ICO still safe but you need to choose the ICO and don't invest too much in the ICO because they are already released so invest the money that you can afford. maybe eligma is a good choice but you need to take a look about their projects and if you have a time, you need to talk with the dev and the team about the project so you can decide.

I think this depends on the trust of each. Because there will never be a definite in cryptocurrency. for investment in ICO safe or not, of course, is determined by the project. therefore, it is best to selectively in choosing for ICO projects. You could invest your money in altcoin because will be less you faced the trouble than you have invest your money in ico. When you invest your money in ico project you will try to take where the benefit of altcoin at low price you keep hold and save your altcoin, but when the altcoin price on high you could take profit by sell your coin at high price. But if you buy and invest your money in ico many faced trouble you get.

I think the risk to ICO lately diminished. many of the ICO that indeed pays and they proved to be a success. If interested to invest in ICO are also the right choice. bitcoin and altcoin also is not an option, it's just possible the fluctuations that are always making people restless.

It is not safe to invest in icos, in fact it is not safe to invest in any cryptocurrency, that does not mean that you cannot get profits with it what I mean is that you must accept the fact that any investment that you make is going to be very risky, if you're not willing to assume and deal with the risk then it is better that you do not invest in this market, but if you have decided that you are willing to take the chances then now you need to define what level of risk you are willing to accept, with bitcoin being the lowest risk, altcoins being in the middle and icos as the most risky investment.
