I heard the news that ETH is going to be hardfork on January 20th. I can not give you a link about this news.
but this is a sign that eth will rise, hopefully the price is 0.1 BTC.

I don't like ripple, it can be considered a "banker coin"
Eth is great in vision and execution
I agree with you, and the supply is very high, I don't know how much the devs are holding but they can dump anytime.
This is crypto we should not support the bankers because all we need is just the decentralized thing to be fair and we have to promote that.

I believe that because of the big difference in price everyone can invest in both. +800 dollars is ETH youbcan buy some amount of ETH and to leave casino 20 dollars for 10 ripple coins for example. People are active in both communities, they are doing some things and price of both of them is going up this year. ETH and ripple are good for for mid and long term holding, this year will be very interesting, bitcoin is still over 10k and I believe ETH and some other coins will come closer very soon.

If you bought ripple before it doubled its price you are one of those lucky investors and now the prediction starts on these coins if it will keep on continue its pace, if you want lower risk of losing your investment i rather go for eth but ripple is definitely worth a try.

Ethereum is a lot more valuable than Ripple mate, and it is considered as the seconf Bitcoin, and as the first altcoin nowadays. It have the most promising potential among altcoins and its price keep rising fastly as well. So investing in ETH is a lot more profitable than buying Ripple.

I think both are potentially good for any investor. I will advice you share your fund and invest in both Ethereum and Ripple. Good luck.
Yes, Both Ethereum and Ripple have potential to rise in the future. Their value is increasing as well as their popularity; but if you will just invest in one altcoin, I think Ethereum is a better one among them. As of now, it is being talked about necaise of its price.

recently ripple reached 1 usd and is predicted to go upto 5 usd by the end of next month.
while eth has rose 100usd in the past week and is being quite stable.
ethereum though not as accepted as bitcoin but still can be used unlike ripple.
so my question is whether i should invest in eth or ripple given i may need to take out my money back any time.
I would in your place invest 50% in each crypt.

This two giant coins are good to hold and I think its better to invest on both coin, diversification is a great strategy that makes you more liquid. Better to analyse well before you trade to prevent any losses.

depends on how much money you have to invest. if you have enough money to invest then buy eth. if you don't have then buy xrp. even though both of them profitable.

no offense, but ripple is crap , i dont know why you all are saying that this altcoin will be the future.

It only has fast transactions, but nothing more than that.

recently ripple reached 1 usd and is predicted to go upto 5 usd by the end of next month.
while eth has rose 100usd in the past week and is being quite stable.

One dollar? it is already at $2,30 each one of them, but honestly, i do not care about the price at all, the only thing that i care is that they have more marketcap than ethereum.

But ethereum will always be much more better than what ripple is

In point of fact, I advise you to invest 60% of your budget in Ripple and the other (40%) in Ethereum. And when we see the price evolution of XRP which has become $2.36  and developed by 107% in this week and the circulating supply become so huge , Also this is the best period to buy a big value of this currency because the current price is small and when it develops in the future it will be a huge profit.
In Otherwise,  the price of etheruem was volatility but there is little progress in this current time and now the  value is $ 870 and it is expected that in this new year the price will become between $2000 and $3000. So to hold and invest in Etherum is very profitable.

I would highly suggest that you check out this particular video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qlf6KlbvXQ&t=2m12s), this is a great analysis of the current state of ripple and if it would be wise for you to invest. I don't hold any ripple myself and I have no interest in getting myself some anytime soon. Ethereum has proven to be a solid choice over the past year so getting a small position wouldn't hurt. However I would heavily advise against a bigger or all-in position because at this very moment ethereum is a little bit high up.

It depends to you what is better is either ripple or ether.  I don't have ripple because I sold it last few months ago and lost some profit when the price decrease never buy again ripple after I sell all my ripple. But after I see the price of ripple it's already 2 dollars and Im very shocked to the price. But ij ethereum I bought this coin last few years ago and Im very happy because I earn a lot of rofit in ethereum if I sell this coin but I will hold it for few years more because I believe it will increase the price of this coin like thousands of dollars like bitvoin price in the future. But if you think ripple and ethereum is good you can buy this two.

Rumors with XRP hitting coin base is really what is keeping it up. I still think at a dip it's a good price. ETH is also a good buy. It had a good dip at around 750 and now is 900. The ETH fork is coming so a lot of people are pumping it because of that.

XRP is banking collaborated altcoin so we may find that on the Coinbase or some other wallet provider as well. That is their plan to emerge in the market soon you will find the bitcoin and ethereum will gonna give a heavy competition with them.

I see ethereum increased to 850 USD this day so I expect more growth in upcoming days. Please don't invest on XRP it is make your fund in septic tank.

Ripple, obviously. Its the underdog which has remained in the house for far too long, its time for it to be unleashed. The markets are proving to be in support of ripple than in support of bitcoin. Bitcoin is struggling badly in the markets.More output is there than input and vice-versa for ripple. So ripple ,go for it now,a few months later when you turn your head back, you'll find yourself rich.

If the rumors are true and Ripple does get added to coinbase, I think it's a no brainer to profit. All the noobs that sign up will see it as the cheapest coin and just buy tons of it without having any idea what they're doing.

Sure it isn't legit crypto but profit is profit.

ETH is a safe way to go too, but I think with the coinbase thing more money can be made on Ripple in the short term.
