New projects are high risk be careful with it. Search and analyze projects, read their whitepaper, their promise, competitors, the team, tokenomic. If that information convinces you, trust your vision and begin to enter little by little.
Even if a project passes all your filters it is important to be careful about it, scammers are becoming more and more skilled as time passes and they are able to create projects that look no different than legitimate projects, with the difference they never had the intention of developing anything and then as soon as they get some money they will disappear with it, so it is important to have our reservations about investing in new coins, and if possible to avoid them completely.

If you are afraid of losing money then don't invest. Only invest what you can afford to lose. Since you are afraid, it means you can't afford to lose. And no, not everyone is making that "handsome" profit from metaverse projects that you are talking about. In fact most people are losing money investing in those new metaverse project as most of them turns out to be either a scam or a shit project. How many metaverse projects do you see on the the top 20 list? Few.
This might be another shit project. So stay away from this one.

Hello there, everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I've noticed that crypto projects grow in response to certain events, such as the project on metaverse, which has become extremely popular in recent days. Everyone is joining these projects, and everyone is profiting handsomely simply because Facebook mentions the metaverse. According to this analysis, there is a project called secretworld.network on BSC that is a gaming project with mostly live features, and I believe that due to the project's nature, there is a chance to make a good profit, so I'm considering participating in their presale that will be on 12th of March, but I'm afraid of losing money. So I'm looking for suggestions; perhaps you guys know more than I do. I also provide a link to a whitepaper and a website.

It's a good idea to invest in newly built projects, especially on the metaverse, as you mentioned, but keep in mind that anything with too much hype does not always last. I'm not saying it won't last, but always consider the risk involved in any investment, and trust your instincts and only invest what you can afford to lose.

Well, all I can say on this metaverse project was pure hype and it's all about hype. Mostly we heard them on social media because they are actively promoting those projects on social media like Facebook, Twitter, and even in Telegram. There will perhaps be new projects that will have potential but you need research for this because not all become massively have profit as you mentioned OP.
However, you should not rely on any financial advice on the internet, dig deeper it should be the most important part, --and the best of all, invest what you can afford. [as always advised]
Marketing is a bit easier nowadays since people are looking to make money. So, you are in a group of people, who are trying to make money and you do marketing in a way that tells people that you are doing a project that will make them money. This could turn out to be a scam, or it might be a legit project but no matter what, the marketing is easier nowadays.

You spend some money and there are some KOL and there are some places and if you spend enough money to be featured in all, you are going to be known and people will throw money at you. It could be meta, it could be nft, it could be just a meme token or even just a regular coin and you will gather a lot of funds.

I honestly find metaverse projects these days too risky but I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you have done a series of research about it. But if you want assurance, it would be better to risk your funds in well-established coins, especially those that are on top. It's smarter to invest in coins with a good history and foundation.

In order to avoid property loss, I think the OP needs to listen to the opinions of people here about their views on this project. It's really risky with what is available. I didn't realize the background information needed to believe in the future with this project. It was like dozens of defi projects that came before it, even the brand was very forgotten.

Everyone must have experienced the pain of their own performance, but the pain experienced will grow with positive things that happen over time. a lot of things that happen researching a new project can be pearls or vice versa. but sometimes there is a money laundering drama that is at its worst. Well at least for me it's better to invest with projects that have been running for quite a while, it's better. avoid the risk of fear of loss

I think you need time to experience everything. The advice just makes you wonder. You don't know what makes sense. Personally, after a lot of experience, I would not choose a project like this. It's too common, nothing special with the limited information available. Transparency and serious construction projects abound, so do a better search. Hopefully, you'll have a painless experience with them.

After I tried to browse the website, this project looks the same on DeFi in general,
therefore I think this project is less innovative, they just seem to follow the trend without offering a solution to the problem.
Projects that look like they want to pick up the hype in the short term will then be abandoned by stripping the market of liquidity.
I know they will be listed on the market in the near future, but that doesn't mean reducing their risk of becoming a rugpull project. If you still want to invest here do not put all your money. try from a small asset, as you can afford to lose it.

All information I can see on the website, ranging from Audit by certik and other information.
I think this project is good, it's because of the current Hype game and metaverse, besides that the tokens you buy can be staked here https://staking.secretworld.network/

this is not finansial advice but you can do research before investing and you can ask the team, who are the investors who bought this many SSD tokens

Metaverse projects are quite growing massively but sadly, many of these projects are worthless. Investing in new projects as you have mentioned is not wrong for as long as we know the background of it and most likely we know they are legit and have a working product. But for the situation that they are still the pre-selling and soon to launch status, we need to be careful with it.

I suggest for you dig deeper into this project as at this moment we can assure if this becomes successful. No one even knows but honestly, it was really risk-taking investing in new projects compared to those we've known already like Bitcoin.

Well, the gaming industry is booming this year but I don't know about that game. What's their long-term position on it?
Investing in new projects is one way to try and make a big profit but it also has high risks. It's new, you don't know what the developer is really thinking and I have seen games that went bankrupt because they were played by whales. Those big investors didn't even try and play the game, just bought the coins wait for it to pump then dumped it and run away. There must be consistency in new projects avoiding these things to happen.

One thing that we can advise to all who wanted to invest in new projects especially newbies is that it is one way to try and make a big profit but it is very risky to do. I mean, yes gaming industry, especially with play-to-earn features still making in its way as a hype project up until now because as we know this gaming industry was been hyped last year. But that doesn't mean that it is good to invest still we need to do our own responsibility like doing your own research about the project and of course only invest the amount that you can afford to lose.

I prefer answering your question than giving my opinion about the project you posted since your question is about investing in a new project, which is a general question and not specific, my opinion is you may invest,  provided that the roadmap is solid, and the developers are transparent and capable of completing the roadmap, the team's capability is very important.

As for me, the most attractive projects now are related to P2E. One of my recent favorites is RacewayX. I see a great future in them. It is a revolutionary blockchain game built on Binance Smart Chain. Have you heard about them?

Dont invest in new projects. The reason is simple. We are about to get hit by new financial crisis. These new projects wont be able not only raise enough funds to start closing milestones. Only old and reputed projects will get something from investors. New projects will be "in development" for ages.
Thats quite pessimistic on your side. Yes we could have another financial crisis, but dont you think these new projects dont know that? Why not give chance to showcase what they can offer in spite of those crisis that attempt to bombard the economy? In fact these crisis will never end and continously be here so why bother. Only risk takers could understand what it meant to gamble and become financially free.

If you already have research on this project and willing to risk on new crypto projects, then you pursue your venture in new trend such as NFTs and play to earn projects. Every decisions you will make will make you a better investor and will build a strong characteristics on pursuing the high risk and high rewards in the crypto industry.

I think you should consider the risk and return from this project, I personally think this is better than spending time researching how it goes. Maybe it will bring profit, but if you accept the risk of losing your entire investment, seeking opportunities from projects like this will only make you more stuck in the market. In this market, I don't believe in products that are too popular in appearance with flashy promises.
