A few days ago I had 100$ in my portfolio that I got from mining some Ethereum. Without much thinking I bought 66$ worth of bitcoin when BTC was selling for 60K. I also bought some ADA Cardano with the remaining 33$. Now both bitcoin and ADA prices have dipped significantly. I was wondering should I sell my ADA for the loss of 1-2$ in order to catch more gains in the next Bitcoin bull run?. Or should I hold both of them. To me holding 30 bucks worth of ADA isnt that good in the long run. I am planning on investing larger amounts in ADA  as I honestly believe in their project, once I get hold of things and establish a decent portfolio. Am new to trading and am still learning the technical and fundamental aspects of things. Any advice is appreciated!.
So you already have 0.0011 BTC, so you can still use $ 33 to exchange ADA / BTC with a good rate of approximately 0.00067 BTC.  But given this small capital, I think your should keep holding ADA and waiting for bull run.  ADA is also an altcoin that favors and nudges the current requirements well.  Good to keep

I mean, if the funding is this small, there's no need to worry.  Do not let your psychology fluctuate, do not buy or sell right now.

Keep ADA for now. They have Africa Special in 6 days and maybe they will present some big news there. If it comes to be like that ADA will really pump in price so I would hold for now.

That will probably pump the price a bit but his investment is just $33 for ADA, it's too little for something to expect a huge return, I doubt you could get a single ADA in one epoch when its staked. It will take years for $33 worth of ADA to be $500 but it may just be worth the wait since the adoption of cryptocurrency is increasing particularly in Africa. Who known what could happen when ADA development of the smartcontracts and tokenbridges will bring ADA to its full potential.

I still find it really weird that people with enough technical knowledge to mine Ethereum still have questions like this. I mean first of all, how you can be buying ADA when you mine ETH, and then buy BTC.

Just keep mining your ETH and hodl. When ETH 2.0 comes and it's full staking you'll really be glad you stashed up on Ether because everyone will be staking it.

So the thing is mining ethereum was just a temporary hobby. I used my RX 480 4gb GPU to mine ethereum for a month and a few weeks. After the pool sent me my ethereum I waited a bit until ethereum reached its peak and sold it for 103$ (initially 86 from mining). I then used the 103 in my exchange to buy 66% bitcoin and the other remaining in ADA. Just because I have enough knowledge to mine doesn't mean am a good trader. I cant mine more ethereum as 4gb cards cant mine ethereum anymore, I was lucky to be able to mine for a month and I dont have that much spare money to buy more eth so I decided I would learn how to trade and put the money to good use instead of cashing it out like any other 19 yo would do. And that's how people learn at the end of the day, thx for ur comment.

Keep ADA for the time being because alts season is approaching, and you don't want to be left out. Take profit as ADA hits its All-Time Peak and Though the sum is small, if it pumps, the OP might make a lot of money. As a result, he can keep an eye on the ADA market and sell when it peaks. In the very least, you're selling for a profit rather than a loss.

Hire Bitcointalk Camp. Manager @ r7promotions.com
You do both with that amount.

That's not a big problem that you should be thinking because you can test the market with that amount and see which will benefit you most. It's like an experiment to you that you must do it without any regrets.

But if I'll be doing it, I'll forge ADA and buy it with bitcoin and keep up with the market to accumulate more.

Don't worry, because I think ADA still has the opportunity to grow even bigger in the future. indeed a sharp decline was experienced by all altcoins, but the decline did not last long, look at the market today, the green sign has started to look soothing to the eye. be a patient holder, because that is the key to trading. You don't need to check your total portfolio every time, because it can mentally affect you to sell at lower prices. Stay in control of your emotions, and think for the long term.

ADA is a potential coin, but it's your choice if you sell ADA and switch to bitcoin, but maybe you can divide the percentage into part of ADA and partly to BITCOIN because when bitcoin increases altcoins will be pumped too, and you can get profit from two places.

In Search of Incredible
In weekly chart both ADA and BTC is down almost 20%. So I think you should stay with ADA there. Cardano is one of those top alts of crypto market. Don't forget that ADA will also follow the bull trend beside bitcoin. Your portfolio amount isn't so high, it would be better if you can manage some fiat funds to invest in bitcoin during this dip.

is not it better to hodl both? Even when you are converting all of your money on ada into the bitcoin and it doesn't give you guarantee you can get decent profit from your money.
You are only using small amount of money and i think that you should not feel worry about that dude.
I personally will try to hodl both rather than all in bitcoin. We can take the advantage from both.
With that amount and you will get very very small profit on bitcoin.

Hold both, selling an asset that you own while the price is down is a blunder that resulting in you are losing half of the money you have. The ups and downs of prices in the crypto market have occurred frequently, so you have to be ready when the market is down, Bearish condition is only temporary and the market will return to Bullish in the next few days. Panic sell will make you lose everything, now all you have to do wait until the market gets better again.

What is the main reason of buying ADA? Take profit? Save money? or what?
If you want to take profit just wait the best price. Trading without any knowledge is a bad idea. It's your money and it's too risky.
Save money in token that you don't know also bed. Try to be with market and not fight it.

If 100$ isn't a big money and you can pay them for experience that's a good approach. With more experience and knowledge, you can increase your crypto investment. You will have time for the next growth.

If you still believe that ada team will deliver the best platform, why would you sell it ? Why people dont understand that market sometimes down and sometimes up ? Trade only make you lose more money if you buy ada at its previous ATH $1.3 . I would rather put my ada in to my cold wallet and let it for years.

It is easy for ADA to bump with more 100% but it is difficult for Bitcoin to do it.
I suggest that you invest in it you might get some quick profits from it, especially  its price is not breaking 2017/2018 ATH.
Bitcoin has a very very high fees and 33$ will be lost in fees if you want to exchange or withdraw your coins and I don't expect it to increase in price in the coming days.

if you doubt wouldn't it be better to sell it. but if it's me, I'd rather hold it. buying btc in small quantities is not very profitable. better to hold ADA even at a loss of 1-2$, or you can sell it, but buy back ADA when the price is cheaper.

Your choice because it isnt really that bad to sell out some coins to buy btc when its still cheap but if you are really after for profit on bigger multiplier then holding your
altcoins isnt really that bad at all but its your choice since its your money or investment which if you do look that it would be worth to deal with Bitcoin then its up
to your to decide but be sure that you wont really regret and dont tend to listen out with other peoples recommendation.Always follow your own
investment decisions so that you wont have any regret if things turns out to be on the other side.

Whenever there are falls like that of Bitcoin it is time to buy altcoins, in this case you did well, but you did not sell on the ATH, it is normal, few did, when bitcoin goes down all the altcoins go down, at this moment ADA many are waiting that it goes down even more, it is not bad that you sell and buy Bitcoin fast, wait for the bitcoin to rise again and that in the next Bitcoin correction there if you invest in ADA, that is the best way to buy, at least the millionaires do that , use altcoins as a safe haven mechanism. Because ETH is going up so much, many are beginning to suspect that altcoin season is coming, because Bitcoin is falling and many alts are going up, that's reason to think about it. However there is no confirmation of this.

What were you expecting when you split that $100? Concentration of small capital in one asset is better than diversifying. You should probably establish your BTC portfolio before moving into altcoins. Some people also prefer investing in alts first so they can accumulate more bitcoins.
I agree with you point. You should focus on one asset instead of splitting your capital like this because you only have a small amount of money.

But in my opinion, selling ada for bitcoin is not a good idea even though bitcoin is a good coin whenever there is a dump. I suggest you should continue to hold your coin

If there will be upcoming significant event for ADA, I would suggest to hold for it. Though the amount is not that big, but if it will pump, the OP may get good profits. So he should be keeping an eye with ADA's market and sell when it pumps. At least, you are selling not at a loss but in positive profit.

Keep ADA for now because alts season is coming and you do not want to be left behind. When ADA pumps and reaches its All-time-high, take profit when you are already satisfied with your gains. Then let your gains in Bitcoin because many say that after Alt season, Bitcoin will dominate again the market and experts predict that it will reach $100,000 or more.
