I can remember ages ago the issue of 10,000 coming up as an important number and I was far more confident at that point that such a round number doesnt actually mean that much.   Right this moment the 10k figure does happen to land on a rough trend I have drawn and true we have risen suddenly upto this point so profit taking can occur after rapid gains.   However I'm still apt to go with the general rule that 10k in USD is not a flat number in any other number of national currencies around the world and not everyone counts this particular area as anything significant even if many look to USD as a price.
Ultimately we all reference value in our local currency and costs we face for various products.   I think its quite possible we go past 10k without any great battle especially and reach as far as 11k or more before selling.   That'd upset quite a few who might have been trying to short, when they are 'forced' to buy it might be the last of the buyers and then we see the scales swing back to sellers as a majority hence weakness.
Also the greatest easy signal might be to watch main markets and general optimism there, any contraction can easily mean people cash out BTC holdings which can be leveraged in order to achieve liquidity and settlement of their account in midst of general selling or negative sentiment.  Its very possible for markets to be shocked or upset with the scale of this virus effects or data or medical trials to combat it, etc.

If i were you  i will wait for the 10,000$ price that will happen soon. It will give you much higher returns if you hold your bitcoin till the halving happens. But im not encouraging you to believe me,still the decision is for you to make.

your suggestion here are two ? one is by waiting for 10k usd and other one is by waiting for halving   . still this two are not yet perfect i mean the price can either fall back before it reaches 10k usd and it can also fall back during the halving event   . price right now is over 9k usd and increase in btc over the past days are still impressive so if i were him i will take this oppurtunity   . its better than to be zero   .  anyway i could be selling now if i already recieve my salary in btc but they still havent paid me yet so i feel worried right now  . i hope price wont fall off yet

I think you should NOW. I don't know if it would be a good decision to sell back at that time, as we can see right now it would have been not so nice, however right now price is definitely perfect for selling. Right now bitcoin is all hyped up once again and correction will probably happen soon.

I realized corrections only happen when the price of bitcoin goes up a whole lot (like it did today) and it doesn't go up anymore, right now it looks like its not going to go any higher, I do not see a 10k very soon, which means price will stay here for a while and then there will be a correction. Sure it may take some time but at that means you can sell now and not worry, eventually it will fall and you can rebuy at that price when it drops. Its quite a good arrangement if you ask me.
And just a few days later bitcoin is getting very close to touch 10000 dollars again, this should show us how unpredictable the market can really be and it is an important lesson for all of us as well, if we want to take an important decision regarding our capital we are the only ones that are responsible for it, while it is important to listen to the opinions of others at the end of the day we are the ones that need to take that decision because our lives are going to be the ones to be affected if we make the wrong choice.

according to Coin Market Capitalization Bitcoin is getting better now https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
compared to what we have last month so maybe it is better to stay for at
least couple of months before everything
change Plans because the price of Bitcoin may Go higher  because of Halving
but if nothing happens this month of May
then plans will be for selling like what i am thinking specially this pandemic
effect?i know it is understandable if we
will find the right way in treating our money and this is how to keep it safer.

Everyone is telling that bitcoin is going to 3K.
If you do not have principles in cryptocurrency investment and trading, always guided by others and news in the media, you will experience failure to win against Bitcoin.

I have experienced something like that, first I got to know the world of crypto by trusting others behind, telling me to sell, ordering to buy, I bought, eventually failing without profit.
There are thousands of news about bitcoin right now, predictions, analysis, etc., and also people can only talk when we lose that person is missing.

So you have to have principles in trading and investing to get good results, follow your conscience, sell and buy Bitcoin.

We have different assumptions about bitcoin price if this is the time for selling. The current price is back to $8k and in my view we cannot determined if the price would climb back to $9k again. In my opinion, I’ll hold and always observe the market until such time to see a good opportunity to sell.
prices once again touched $ 9,000, and eventually dropped to $ 8,800, hoping resistance at $ 9,000 could be surpassed but it seemed very difficult,
we needed a FOMO boost now,
for now, it looks like the price is so close to the price of $ 10k. I assume that in a few weeks, the price of bitcoin can reach $ 10k, whether it's before or after halving. however, right now the price is moving up, so I have that assumption. so, for those who have bitcoin in their wallet, it is better to hold it right now.

Crypto is only for those who plan for long term people these days are expecting quick money which is a real risky move and ending with losing money, I am really happy with your plans mate best of luck...

Grin In something you are right. If we look at the graphs from a distance of several years, we might think that this is so. But if during the year we actively "work" in the crypto, then we will see how everything changes very quickly here. Each year is a new era. Have you noticed this?

My plan is to HODL the top 3 coins for the next 10 years, keeping them safe is a priority, and keep buying but not sell. Trade yes. I might get a trezor once i have a certian amount (a lot)

I think in 10 years 1 BTC will buy me a small house

Perfect, that's the plan of the decade I will say. Mate I really appreciate your height of confidence and I wish your dream come true if you are truly planning for such stuff.

Everyone needs to decide for himself.
From my point of view this is not the time for selling unles you realy need the money.
Recently we saw a price jump that didn't last on long term but it was good opportunity for day traders. [1]
Now the price puled back again but at this moment it's hard to twll what will happen next.
Anyway, it's very obvious that the world is heading towards deep and long term crisis and Bitcoin might be one of your safe harbours so don't sell just now unles you realy have to. [2]

1.) There is no difference for traders in which direction the price goes - they are only interested in volatility. I think this category of bitcoin users should not be attributed to those who are really worried about its future.
2.) This is an interesting assumption - is it scary how bitcoin behaved at the beginning of this crisis? It was falling faster than the stock market.

That's where I am confused why people are thinking that way. Bitcoin was low, and it got high, and it is stable now, WHY do you think it will go up even more? I am not saying it won't but there are so many people who miss out when the price bottoms and then comes back and buys when the price goes up, inevitably that price drops again because it was spiked and it is normal for a price that went up so much to fall a bit, and they end up losing money and start calling bitcoin dead again instead of buying more when it drops.

I am sorry but if you are thinking about buying bitcoin right now, you have to realize there is a big chance it could drop in price, not saying it will but there is a big chance, you should buy it when the price bottoms up, not when it increases like crazy.
People miss those opportunities for one thing and one thing only and that is that they are afraid, when the price begins to go down in a very fast way they are afraid that if they buy at that moment the price is going to keep going down and they are going to lose money because of it, what they do not realize is that buying after huge drop is a huge opportunity because markets have a tendency to over correct themselves and drop to absurd levels which are simply not realistic and after a few days there is the potential for very easy profits if they buy at that point.

sell all your BTC weak hand.

Seriously though its to much rise to soon, halving is irrelevant  - if history rhymes significant price growth wont occur until at least 6-12 months after the halving.
Common words for hodlers but this one wont work with active traders.Selling bitcoin at that 9k price point is the sweet spot and i had made profits with that but if you
do go for long term then selling wont really be on your line.

Its better to utilize movements to make shorter profits than waiting up for too long.Well, its our choice though because each one of us do have its own preference.

For people who had bought on last month or in last weeks then if they did able to sell out on 9k price then that was an easy profit.

He can sell his bitcoin when the price reached $9k in a few hours before because right now, the price is back to the $8k level, so he needs to wait for a while if he wants to sell at $9k. I think this time, bitcoin price make correction of the price because the price is going to go down, and we don't know how deep the price will be down. Maybe it is the best time for us to wait so we can get the right time to buy bitcoin before the price increase later.

No, I think this upward ride of bitcoin't price  will continue for a while before it decides to dump after bitcoin halving. it's best to hold it for a week more before the halving but make sure you sell once we reach the halving because it's likely going to start dumping once the halving is over.
