I don't think that btc requires re-branding. To my mind, it doesn't have such a need but this can be arguable because some experts can consider it necessary

Bitcoin is already too popular to change anything in it. This will only further complicate it and be confusing to many investors. In addition, all of us, investors, trust this bitcoin, which has been developing for 10 years. No need to change anything.

That's true and bitcoin is already know as people it's name and their are no reason why bitcoin will be re-brand.

Do you think Bitcoin needs some Rebranding?

Rebranding is the creation of a new look and feel for an established product or company. The usual goal of rebranding is to influence a customer's perception about a product or service or the company overall by revitalizing the brand and making it seem more modern and relevant to the customer's needs.

First off, the name is a bit confusing? - Most people see the name and associate it with some physical coin. The media is also not helping with this

perception, because with every article about Bitcoin, pictures are shown of physical Casascius bitcoins.

The other aspect of Bitcoin that can be rebranded is it's bad reputation that has been built up and shilled up ..over years.

Every company gets to a point where they need to re-think their original goals and future plans... Why not Bitcoin? We have come a long way

since 2009 and making small changes will help us to take this into a new future, without the baggage of the past.

What would the pro's and cons of this be, and also the impact?

Let's discuss  Grin Grin Grin

I think that the market itself will put everything in its place. Many skeptics predicted the fall of bitcoin to 3k this year. And this did not happen. Besides, every day I watched less and less negative news about bitcoin.

There is need to re-brand bitcoin. change  is the only thing constant in life. But before that they have to tell us what the re-branding is all about.

I think there is absolutely nothing to change in bitcoin. Its technology is already pretty good, and the fact that it is full of skeptics - it can not be corrected. People will still trust bitcoin, you only need more time for its development.

in my opinion, that's not necessary. we get bitcoin with difficulty and why we have to return bitcoin so easily. restore bitcoin is a very wrong step because it will make the supply of bitcoin more and more in the trade market and will make the price of bitcoin drop further. we better save bitcoin in the long run and we sell bitcoin when we really need an urgent cost of living.

No, there is no need to re-brand Bitcoin. This will take away its founding name to which many people are drawn to. Plus we must consider the benefits of this change if any.

If there is no time limit, then almost at any stage it was possible to go into a plus, as history shows. And if you look at the graph for the last two years, so in General the statement seems strange.

Rebranding will just confuse new investors. Besides Bitcoin is already a good brand name and didn't need another new name. Branding is only for a name that has no impact in the people.

I think that's a bad idea. Because the Bitcoin brand has been around since 2009 and now it takes a lot of effort to make it a great name as it is now and is trusted by many investors and buy it. Renaming a brand is one of the worst ideas for me.

Re-branding Bitcoin is a good idea to bring more defined shape and mental acceptance on people. Well, I personally feel that re-branding bitcoin has to do with what you want to achieve with it. Are you trying to bring more relevance to its name maybe because it has had a negative effect on people? or you wish to present it as something new to the world but still leave its original idea and features in tact? Whatever your end objective is, it has to be a gesture to bring more life to its name and give more value to its meaning and usage.

No! What rebranding are you talking about? Is it the name you want to rebrand? Or the golden coin symbol? Please let's not do things that will create confusion and make Bitcoin loose its swag.

Bitcoin does not need that because it has done enough for people to believe it. At present Bitcoin needs a pump that helps it rise fast, to create new trends and return to the golden age that it has done before. What we need at this moment is to pray for it.

I think there is no need for us to re-brand bitcoin because in tge first place it is the name that makes it popular. It is also the first crypto. Many already knew about it and its usefulness.

No,because bitcoin become famous since it was created until now. Original brand is much important and valued by the people than the re-brand. Let us stay bitcoin as what is it from the start until the end of it...but i think it will not end. Bitcoin will continue to live as long as there are demand and supply in tye market.

No need indeed. Let bitcoin be the Bitcoin we know, just add some improvement on speed, and less fee when sending so that it can be competitive with other emerging coins. Many bitcoin fork are already in the market some had succeed but most are slowly fading and delisted from exchanges.
