I don't think re branding in Bitcoin because this is still established project. Don't need to new look. We are need more concern regarding Bitcoin for trying to makes global currency like as paypal because paypal working in many countries as a legalize currency.

Bitcoin is already a brand itself and an icon for this cryptocurrency market and the first ever coin. This market comes in existence from bitcoin and its brand value is still intact as it has a major pie of total investments of this market. There is no requirement to re-brand it.
I think Bitcoin is unique to our crypto market and it's probably a priceless brand name. And franchising is not possible when people join the crypto market for bitcoin search. That is the symbol for every brand in the market.

Why should we need to rebrand bitcoin if it is it's identity since it was launched? From the very beginning up to where it is now, bitcoin is only the name that represents the whole cryptoworld.

Rebranding of bitcoin requires a sharp thought and excellent socialization, because it is not certain that the idea can be accepted by the community of bitcoin users in general. I appreciate your ideas about rebranding bitcoin, but also I doubt that the idea will work well according to what you expect, for that I think what has been there now is something that is good enough, and only needs further development so that it becomes better and can give satisfaction to every bitcoin user.

Bitcoin isn't something owned by one man and is rebranding new thing in currencies? Was anyone rebranding gold or us dollar? If you don't like transaction confirmation times, anonimity or other things, then there are altcoins like bitcoin cash, ethereum, monero and etc. If you don't like that it was often used in dirty things, you can't change past so accept it or reject this coin.

There is no problem with the name, "bit" to show that it is computer related product, for lay people it is very clear for them and "coin" to that it is something that related to wealth, there is economic activity in it and a medium of exchange. The bad thing here is the past of bitcoin that used for illegal activities. This is our job to change the bad image of bitcoin to be a good image so people can see bitcoin as useful thing/product of satoshi nakamoto and bitcoin minners. So rebranding is in our habbit, please use bitcoin on the e-commerce marketplace.

No, there is no need to re-brand Bitcoin. This will take away its founding name to which many people are drawn to. Plus we must consider the benefits of this change if any.
Exactly, there is no way to rebrand bitcoin in any way. I believe bitcoin is backed by by blockchain technology and any form of rebranding would be really difficult. I believe we  should just allow bitcoin to be as it was programmed. We can only promote this amazing digital currency to the rest of the population.

I think rebranding is something that Bitcoin will never need. A huge number of people on the planet have heard and know about Bitcoin. If it is called by another name, it will create a lot of confusion. Rebranding - This is absolutely not necessary thing.

The rebranding that I wish for is just software upgrade ,bitcoin needs some few better upgrades to make transaction more faster and the fee is still huge not to talk about when bull run comes ,last year when bull run occurs it was pretty hard to transfer fee due to been costly

You just can't rebrand Bitcoin because it would require consensus where majority is agree with your "rebranding" idea. Even if majority agree, that would make confusion, community-split and maybe chain-split just because your idea.
OK, I totally agree with you that renaming a brand can cost a lot of time and effort, and it also hinders identification, and ultimately it's not necessary to do like that

Bitcoin at the moment, works great and no rebranding to him, and he needs only issues of network scale
I don't see the need to rebrand bitcoin in whatsoever form. Bitcoin is not a physical asset or currency  with which alterations are usually done with ease. I believe bitcoin goes beyond that respect, there is no need to make any change in bitcoin.

Do you think Bitcoin needs some Rebranding?

Rebranding is the creation of a new look and feel for an established product or company. The usual goal of rebranding is to influence a customer's perception about a product or service or the company overall by revitalizing the brand and making it seem more modern and relevant to the customer's needs.

First off, the name is a bit confusing? - Most people see the name and associate it with some physical coin. The media is also not helping with this

perception, because with every article about Bitcoin, pictures are shown of physical Casascius bitcoins.

The other aspect of Bitcoin that can be rebranded is it's bad reputation that has been built up and shilled up ..over years.

Every company gets to a point where they need to re-think their original goals and future plans... Why not Bitcoin? We have come a long way

since 2009 and making small changes will help us to take this into a new future, without the baggage of the past.

What would the pro's and cons of this be, and also the impact?

Let's discuss  Grin Grin Grin
can’t be sure if this is actually a rebrand or if this is just Bitcoin Cash trying to stir Bitcoin Core into another battle. This seems likely, since Bitcoin is doing well at the moment. By jumping on the hype train, increased coverage for Bitcoin Cash could do the value of the currency some good  Grin

I don’t even know, because if you will look at the bitcoin demand and how bitcoin controls the entire cryptocurrency market, I wouldn’t say that bitcoin needs rebranding because bitcoin hasn’t been able to show itself completely due to the ban of laws in various countries, so we just need to wait and we will see bitcoin full power.

The concept of re-branding is wide when it concerns bitcoin. I want you as the initiator of the re-branding to enumerate the aspect of bitcoin you think the re-branding should affect, starting from the consensus mechanism.

How can Bitcoin be rebranded if it doesn't belong to anybody?
A lot of people know that "Bitcoin" is cryptocurrency #1, but after rebranding, if we change the name, most of people will be confused with such name-changing.

I think that Bitcoin does not need re-branding. This can lead to a lot of forks that are already very much so now. Time shows that all Bitcoin forks are a failure. Even BitcoinCash is a failure.

if you are issuing Bitcoin, will you re-brand your product??  if I issue Bitcoin, I will not re-brand my product at any time because Bitcoin is a perfect name, very right and nice to hear. Bitcoin is the name of the most perfect cryptocurrency, as it has its own charm,  so re-branding Bitcoin is a useless thing to me.
