Is there a faucet for this (similar to Prime Dice?) or just what we deposit?

Just have to deposit!

I believe doog plays a vital role here lol.
Doog joined their sig campaign (left after a month), plays regularly there and invests some bitcoin in Dicebitcoin.

That's possible, but they already had the biggest bankroll in BTC dicing before I even found the site - so it's not just me. Smiley

Dooglus, it is because of you, you don't have to be so modest. You are promoting is a lot in very discreet and cool way and that's cool
I think you are active more in this thread then you were in JD thread few months back hah

Seriously, PD3 down again, might try here.  But, why do so many trust this site?  Isn't it pretty new?  I have no idea how they got such a big bankroll.

A few days ago, someone calling themselves "Nappa" took 127 BTC from PrimeDice. A couple of hours ago there was a "Nappa" in the DiceBitco.in chat. Could he be planning to play there?

On an unrelated point, I've been having great luck on DB recently, playing like this:

* bet at small stakes until you see a long run of losses
* then bet at high stakes

I used to roll my eyes at people "pre-rolling" on Just-Dice - all rolls are independent, right?

So why has it been working so well?

My recent bets: http://i.imgur.com/KtbiXGm.png
My stats: http://i.imgur.com/K4LUrjB.png

I have to assume I've just been lucky, and that sooner or later the run of luck will end, but it sure feels like my strategy is "working"...

I'm a bit worried with the signature campaign. I have read in the September thread that the site spent about 12BTC that way last month (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8625679). So, with a 0.1% edge for the casino (10% of the 1% edge), just to compensate that expense, 12 000 BTC have to be wagered per month. I wonder how much dicebitcoin expects to be wagered on the casino, but I think he's spending too much in that promotion.

they've treamed down the participants, so dont worry

If every user that is on that campaign posts the maximum, 200 posts, he will spend even more than last month. I hope wagered per time keeps increasing enough to compensate that expense.

Not every one in the campaign can make 6-7 posts a day for a consecutive 30 days.
Also, Dicebitcoin should have estimated the benefits and costs before decided to continue the campaign.

They've been averaging over 1000 BTC wagered per day (19k wagered in the last 14 days) recently, so it's quite likely advertising expenses aren't going to kill them.

Also they probably feel that it's worth spending coins to get themselves established. There are a *lot* of dice sites out there with not an awful lot of differentiation between them. If advertising heavily can pull in just a single large (and unlucky!) player, it's worth it.

★Bitvest.io★ Play Plinko or Invest!
The site is online since 29 July (~1month old) and has already wagered more than 13'000'000$

So I wouldn't worry much  Wink

DB is actually the best Dice site.

What you have to keep in mind is that people invest and divest all the time, thus the owners make money even though the overall profit for the investors/site stays low/negative. E.g. the site is @ -50 proft and someone invests for the first time (or without prior negative profit). After a while the site grows to -20 profit, thus said someone has made a little profit depending on the amount invested. If this profit is divest 10% of it go directly towards the owners. IIRC it wasnt as high as 12 BTC for last month (maybe manl can give us an exact number?), but a new site is not expected to be profitable within the first few months.

You are right, profit is indeed higher than 0.001*wagered. But I don't think big investors are going to divest that often, so extra profit from that doesn't seem to be much.

Yes, that makes sense, reinvesting the majority of profits to make the casino grow.

I'm having trouble with the 2FA. I'm was going do divest to play a little, but it didn't work.

I use the same 2FA as I have been doing all the time, but now it doens't work. It still works for all other places where I use 2FA
