I wrote many times that bitcoin in the future will not be listed as a means of payment - it is inconvenient and expensive. But people do not understand and continue to believe in low-functional bitcoin.

Bitcoin is surging and transaction price are getting higher ,same thing happened in 2017 when btc hits 18k it became hellish to send low satoshis I think this will be a problem if bitcoin hits higher this time than past ATH ,just imagine if bitcoin hits 50k per btc what will happen to transaction fees?

For this reason, altcoins have become popular. And I can not understand why such a huge amount of money invested in bitcoins. After all, bitcoin is an outdated project with huge fees. Much easier and cheaper to use alticinae. In addition to the minimum fees, they have fast transactions.

Thats why I prefer to use altcoins, because fees in the current BTC network are extremely high and slow. I would rather use LTC or ETH to make my transaction within several minutes, rather than to pay 10 USD and to wait for 5 hours.

Revolutionizing Crypto Payment Solutions
Not who does not want. This is the main problem. Therefore, new projects appear on the market which grow over time. And Bitcoin goes like gold into which it is invested for a long time. And they keep capital there.
new projects are not all bad and there are a number of good projects that can produce good profits.
capital is not too big and can generate enough money, it is a good and economical opportunity.
Altcoin is easy to have because it doesn't require large capital and good movement.

I used to be in the bitcoin core crowd but after still paying ridiculous fees recently Ive moved over to bch and SV, I Guess this is kind of a rant, but I dont understand who the hell wants to pay high fees to send money to someone.

Well, if you are going to send money, don't use bitcoin either. You are just making yourself feel something terrible. But don't blame bitcoin also. It is not just always the purpose of sending money to someone that the bitcoin is focusing to provide its hundred percent potential. I think you will realize when you start trading or investing.

Mostly bch and bitcoin sv owners causing high fees for bitcoins. They are sending microtransactions to clog the network.

That coins also have low fees because in reality, nobody uses them.

How about a small amount of money, lets say a small player? for which they only transact below 0.01 btc, of course a large fee will be difficult for them. but honestly I don't really care about that fee, there are still many altcoins that have low fees and you can use them for transactions, and I'm comfortable with that
I think many people who have used the way you say. where they transact using other assets that might require lower costs. like doge or LTC know the other assets that certainly have cheaper transaction costs.

I think some people don't mind to pay high fees to the network because the amount of withdrawing they made will bigger than the fee itself. Besides that, I think with the higher fee of the transaction, it will get confirmed in a short time and we don't have to wait for long or even days. But it depends on every people who want to use other coins, and we cannot force them to use bitcoin only.

I got 115 inputs in my wallets right now and when I use electrums auto fee, it tells me that I have to pay 0.01289437BTC -75.3sat/b (~$100) for fees.

I would rather wait 2 weeks and pay 5-10sat/b (no more than $10) to consolidate my inputs. $100 is nuts.

If you guys have many inputs like me, I just made a transaction to consolidate my inputs. I paid 5sats/byte and it took 3 hours to get the first confirmation.

I got another wallet and going to try 2 sats this time.

Reducing the input numbers of your wallets will greatly improve the fees. You should consolidate your inputs every once in a while.

I feel you thats why I transfer to ethereum too since theres a lot of affordable transaction site to use for it unlike btc. I happen to be inlove using eth's platform already and been trading a lot for a long time already.
All of them are good and for bitcoin, it is not always that we have such issue of high charge and like many of the people have said, this happens when there is congestion, which is why we have some of those altcoins has alternative for transactions that you do in a hurry.

If I am to choose any other coin as alternative to bitcoin when there is congestion, I will choose ethereum more than Bsv and bch that the op mentioned. I dint see anything that those coins offer that is special, if they were in a position of bitcoin too, they would have had congestion too sometime, which will lead to high fee.

So from that use an altcoin whose transaction is low cost. Everyone certainly knows how much it costs for bitcoin transactions. Maybe Doge is one of the many altcoins at a low cost if you use transactions using altcoin. If there is a low cost altcoin, of course, a recommendation from friends in this forum is very much awaited.

if its small amount of transaction its really better to to use some alternative

Indeed, if we want to transfer in small amount, we can use ethereum or Doge. Old coin like Doge very usefull because the price looks stable and transaction fee very cheap. But i dont think bitcoin transaction fee is high and i think its nomal fee

It depends on your mistakes from the previous. Fee mostly depend on your input, if the input is more, the fee is likely to be high. Why don't you combine all of your input at one before the fee started to raise? In that case, you would be easily payed a little fee.

You can set the fees lowered than the recommended ones.
If you're happy with the shift with those forked coins, it's your decision.
But I'm staying to bitcoin no matter what other says.
I also support the strategy to stay in Bitcoin and hold it. when it will grow then it will be possible to buy altcoins
There's a better future for bitcoin rather than choosing those copy cats that has been trying to defame bitcoin.
It is your choice to buy altcoins but believing that these alts are way better than bitcoin.
I think that you're missing a lot of things about bitcoin.

CoinMetro - the future of exchanges
BTC is not really for paying in this day and age, that's why some split up to other. but didn't Blockstream themselves kinda say it's a "store of value"

Switching altcoins is the best option if you avoided the high fees. But you need to have research first before choosing which altcoin do you like to use. Just like me before when I was planning to transfer into another exchange. I switched all my assets in Ethereum(I know it is less risk compared other) which is having a small fee while I am transferring the fund into other exchange rather than I used Bitcoin. In that case, I can say that I can save a little amount to cover the fees.

I have already moved to altcoin for transactions before the high fee of Bitcoin started. I use ethereum for most of my transactions  at this moment because I can't deal with the high fee
