r3 giving 65-70 sols/s on gtx 1080  (+495 mem) with 27% cpu usage (i5 4690k)
can you use xnsub with the ported version, i tried appending /#xnsub and it gave an error

This commit should be included in r3:

https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy/commit/47d4497ec7e516259674eb7dbdd4b39cbc95ab32

I wonder what happened to it...

I just uploaded a new version of my Windows build of SILENTARMY v5:

https://mega.nz/#F!iwYQhI6S!2vl0D3jz3fH3-bZxHUurBg

This *should* work with NVIDIA cards.
If it doesn't, please let me know with as much information as possible.

This works great on my 2 nvidia cards but does it mine on CPU as well? When I mine on my CPU I only see about 6 SOL but I was getting about 25 CPU only with the other miner I was using. CPU still hits 100%.

I don't think SILENTARMY is optimized for CPUs. OpenCL wouldn't be suitable for that purpose anyways.

CPU fix for nvidia is available

Yeah I can only run 1 instance (win), 2 slows hashrate down a lot.  just testing one card, cpu is a 4.5ghs i7-2700k.  480 4g nitro.
The same here. Windows 10, 4Gb RAM + 16Gb swap file. 6x 470 8 Gb

same happens to me even on an i7 rig

The culprit is probably Cygwin. I will look into this.

cpu 3570k
cpu load 1 instance 30-40%
seems that cpu fix is not included for nvidia cards

If you are already running at the limit of your power and cooling budget, you may want to go over your power/cooling distribution layout before you make the v5 jump.
If ETH mining on a rig was OK, ZEC mining WILL OK too (I mean that ZEC power usesage will be less then ETH anyway)

A big improvement for linux miners.

One caution though, the power draw at least for 380 and 280 class cards also goes up somewhat proportionately. For the  ASUS 280(x)  cards, the sols/s just about doubled along with the power draw.

With this jump I had to do some rearrangement of the power distribution.

Do you have 380? How much s/s?
