Problem is luck is just all made up. People from long ago dont believe in that. There is this only work and skill. If you rely too much on luck then you will also believe in a bad omen and so on. It just become traditional and passed on to generations.

Yeah! right! Rellying on luck makes you loose pretty a lot. Luck is not in yyour side forever like skill/talent you have as long as you enhancing it everyday unlike luck if you are lucky now then tomorrow your luck is gone and we dont know when it comes back to you.

you need both for sucefull trade, maybe you can do good analysis about trend but luck is always good with your knowledge. Obviously if you have good trading skills, you will make more money than the guy who only have luck.

Nice comparisons. Still the trader could not escape all the time only by using is luck. But, skill will get you more chances to secure your profits. Maybe luck will be finding opportunities but only with skill we will be able to get profits. Yes, with the respect to trading both finding opportunities and make use of it are more important.

Indeed skill and luck are both very important, one you can rely on and the other one is a nasty one cause it's inconsistent.
I like to be skilled in what I do so I am the most consistent I can be for the best results.

i think both are important for success, as luck is one of the most important factor and without luck we cannot insure success, but skill is also important tool for success, if both skill and luck combine then no one can stop you from your destination.

luck you will enjoy what its brings to you always a combined in our search of success.

There are really things that do depend majorly on one thing like on some gambling games you would need pure luck and no skills but there are still games that do require skills and luck on both in able to be profitable. Luck is somehow important because if youre lack on it then you would eventually lose.

I honestly think that luck is more important you mostly just need so much luck to do the right tradings and gain a lot of profit.
Of course a bit of it is skill but the large part is pure luck in my eyes.

well it depends where you'll need it though. when it comes to trading, yeah having skill and experience would be more beneficial that simply being lucky. for gambling though, i don't think there's really no room for skill as luck would be running the show when it comes to gambling

what having skills will allow you to turn your luck into a much passive ways knowing where to place your position and knowing when to make an exit if luck is not with you is an skills to recover loses its should be combined as always.
