All those ones are just what you need in either buying into such markets or holding. Just like you have stated, what is important is to get in details what actually makes the product valuable so you just do not end up bag holding shit coins and as long as you can sort that out, based on the team and product availability, it would help a lot.

OP must do some research online. I started investing in altcoin based on some of the articles that I saw online. Anyone will see so many of them, and can use that to filter out most of the coins or tokens common among most of them and increase your research further on them. As long as you are able to use this, get an idea of the product and what you are investing in as well as who you are investing in, which in this case are the team members, then you will be smart in your decision making.

Buying crypto can be the best decision of your life, or the worst. It's up to you. My recommendations:

- Never be in a hurry to buy. Absolutely never! The "rare buy opportunity which you must immediately take or you'll regret big time in future" rarely exists, but you frequently think you're dealing with one of them. Don't!

- Take your time. Study A LOT! Research everything (specially projects you wanna invest on). Leave nothing to chance.

- Try to buy when the price is lower, and set a target price to sell. BE PATIENT while your investment makes progress. It may take months or even years. You won't get rich overnight, not in crypto nor anywhere else.

- Invest on multiple projects. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

- Be careful about the security matters.

I'd suggest doing some bounties/airdrops and such before investing. Get your feet wet with freebie coins before spending any real money on this. It'll also give you experience with how the exchanges work... and you can do more research in the meanwhile.

Altcoin is one of the cryptos which become popular slowly day by day. If you need to know how to invest smartly you have to know some basic things about altcoins. You also need to know the terms and conditions of altcoins.

My advise to you for new be invest but don’t trade so quickly hold your altcoin. Don’t put all dollars in one side try to survey some other crypto also. Start from the team to see how well they are trying their best to make the project work out great, and if you cannot find that move ahead to the next one. If you check out that the team is good enough to invest in, then check if there is a product available that in the long term will be driving in a lot of demand and once you are at least able to use these two to judge which market to enter, then you should be able to make a good decision.

I prefer you to have invest in these coins (ETH, NEO & DASH). cux it has a smart contract and it is a very promising coins. I believe its price will be rise.

Investing on altcoins is a very good move today because the prices in the market is increasing rapidly so it only means that you will really earn a huge amount of profit when the market price goes back to normal.

I will prefer Zilliqa, NCASH, PCO. PCN is a great to invest. But beware about tron as it is predicted to be very high. But like Consensus it seems to be fall down very shortly. Only prediction.

Now could be the best time, almost every altcoin is in red and there are lots of them that are way cheaper. You could buy a lot and wait for a good time for it to increase which I think will be a larger percentage to happen.
Once bitcoin market is bull again every coin will be pulled up.

Picking what coin. That is the problem. I pick Ethereum on my own opinion. It is down by $100 or more and could come back there anytime this week.
