also, as someone said earlier in the thread, you guys are acting as judge, jury and executioner
We're acting in the way we currently act each of us in their regarding campaign, just collective for all campaigns now.
This gives neither of us more, nor less power, it only distributes the power we have between all, or rather shifts some to the collective.
Why are we abled to act this way? Because the runners of the signature campaigns chose us to be in this spot.
Edit: also, i dont think you guys will be successful, cutting down of the spam would require some sort of administrative action.
If by administrative action, you mean theymos, good luck.
Communication with theymos has been hard for me this past year I've frequented the forum.
He's answered me on some requests and ignored others.
My impression is that, if theymos doesn't want to comment on a topic, literally nothing can make him do so.
I'd rather act in the way we are abled to, than hope for getting administrative support I can't currently expect.
Also, where is this list? Based on what lutpin said a few days ago, it should be just about ready
Things are moving slower than expected. We were planning to have a meeting this weekend to get everyone together on the same page and discuss things in realtime rather than a thread,
however, we've yet to agree on our primar means of communication and also I'm not sure how many guys will be around for it (I've only heard from yahoo).
I might have initially underestimated the amount of work that has to go into getting everything discussed/agreed on and started.
I've read through the first page or so and I have a suggestion, you guys need another member on your team, a neutral member so to speak, The spam here affects regular members, it would be mindless to not have at least one normal member in your team. Also, the campaign managers here have different standards for what is considered as spam, I believe notaek (spelling fixed by lutpin) is the most critical, this is another reason to have a neutral mind on board
Well, I'm open to getting a non-manager on board, however, this has to be discussed with everyone in the team.
We have to agree on a) whether or not adding someone and b) who to add.
Any addition to the active team gives power (even though little) over all our campaigns, which we can't transfer lightly (at least not to a 3rd party, so to speak).
