What could be worse? Bannings of crypto-related search results on Google. I really doubt that would happen though.
On a serious note, that would be taking the fight to the streets if Google does that. As for Snapchat, it barely has enough subscribers to get that ban noticed. But truth be told, ICOs should either be banned or highly regulated all through the platforms. They have become convenient ventures for easy scams..

Previously Facebook banned crypto ads, Google decided to do so in this upcoming June. Now some like fud news circulating that twitter will ban its crypto and related content ads too. And recently like minutes ago Snapchat banned ICO ads in its platform, unlike the said platforms snapchat only banned ICO which is also a good choice. But can somebody tell me if no one cares about this ban?  Cheesy I don't even use snapchat like for real.

I care, but for different reasons  Grin.
I hope that ICO ads will be banned from any damn website in the future.

Till now I'm still waiting to see a real ICO coin or token that delivers what it has promised as curently I'm seeing a lot of them falling and leaving users with useless tokens.
When I browse the altcoins section for a few minutes I feel the urge for a bottle of vodka as I'm unable to understand why in the name of god would somebody believe those coins would be worth anything or used as the "devs" are promising.

As long as they are not targeting discussion between users or banning the word bitcoin they could do whatever they want. After all, it's their platform they can enforce whatever rules they want.
And quite ironic....

No ICOs[1], banks, funds, or anything else that a person can be said to "invest" in; I may very rarely make exceptions if you convince me that you are ultra legit, but don't count on it. Ads may be rejected for other reasons, and I may remove ads even after they are accepted.

Lol what is next, Myspace going to ban ICO ads too? I honestly didn't even know Snapchat carried ICO ads, and to me the target audience is too little. Seems like a waste of trying to do an advertisement, but hey I am not the one advertising ICOs left, right, and center Roll Eyes.

it's 10 years since Cryptocurrency was born, many bad news, fud, dumping,... but Cryptocurrency still strong and ICOs too. I think people will have new way to finding informations, and the ICO Founder will have new way to advertising thier Coin/Token too as many new community platform/application are coming.

Meh. Snapchat is quite irrelevant anyway. Pretty much all significant platforms has banned cryptocurrency ads already. I don't see advertisement bannings getting worse from here. What could be worse? Bannings of crypto-related search results on Google. I really doubt that would happen though.

Hmm all this is weird all of a sudden all major social media sites have decided to ban to anything related to crypto looks like they are earning enough money nowadays but i'm 100% sure in the future they will not only allow crypto related ads but also accept cryptocurrencies so that users can purchase their stupid filters or whatever they call it that shit

Let's save the above for future  Tongue
ICO aren't good nowadays i have gained only losses from most of my investments made during November it's a good news so that newbies don't end up wasting their money on most of the shit ico.

Snapchat is shit don't even know why people use that shit.  Cheesy

compare with other sites such as facebook or google then certainly snapchat users is more less and i think this banned only have small effect for cryptocurrencies users because snapchat isn't too popular such as the sites i was mentioned about so investors should not too worried about this news

I think this is not a thing investors should care about but people dump on these news... As google and fb ban crypto ads, this news is not surprising.

Can't imagine this will make any type of difference lol; anyone who chose to invest in an ICO based on a Snapchat ad was probably interested in the tech for the wrong reason

people don't worry about this trend where all these social media companies have banned crypto ads , if the governments of the world could not not stop crypto currencies i doubt any of these companies whether singly or combined can even dream of doing this , these new developments further point to the need for crypto currency stakeholders to develop their own apps, media sites , information farms etc, infact they have the best platform to do this .......blockchain.

I didn't even realise that snapchat has advertisments for anything? Where can those be found? I found it funny when people were worrying about twitter because it's nothing compared to facebook and google but snapchat is just a joke! This will make next to no difference to the market.
