I use http://www.takeaway.com for ordering food sometimes, lately once every Saturday when hanging out with friends.

Being in Germany they redirect me to a local service (lieferservice). On Saturday I went to order something but found no bitcoin payment option to pay.

I checked again today and saw that it was not available for other restaurants so I sent the site an e-mail to ask about it and this was their response:

thank you for your message.

Since the companies lieferando and lieferservice became one, we just used the pay options from lieferando.

There are a lot of people complaining, thats why we are planing to put the bitcoin payment function back in our system.

I dont knowm how long this will take, so i please you to wait a little.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen,

Nadine

Glad to see that Germans are using it and willing to e-mail the company when the option is not available.

I am looking forward to eventually having full-time income in Bitcoin, since I will be able to SPEND many of them on services like takeaway.
The future is very bright, even though it takes time for the light to shine.  Smiley

Even I am planning to get rid of my job and start using signature campaign for full time like say 8 hours a day. I mean I would be my own boss and it would be definitely to work from home without any peer pressure and if you work more you earn more so signature campaign + Trading = Good Salary  Grin

That is not an great idea. Don't leave your job as your job pays you much more higher and you also get other benefits from the job here you just need to keep on posting comments and commenting 8 hours continuously is not a joke so I would rather suggest you to do this part time and concentrate on your job.
Yes thats right don't take seriously in this forum you should focus on your job because this forum are not permanent but your job is permanent, maybe also not but its worth it than this forum.

Well, that would be the case in the developed world which I assume he's from, but if he was from some 3rd world place he could be making way more on here than in a real job. The problem is I don't know how you are going to post for 8 hours continuously without getting banned, I usually make like 6 to 10 posts daily during breaks and thats the regular posting i would do and if I had to do more it would become a chore and I would rather get a job that pays more in 8 hours than what signature campaigns pay which is very low, and like I said before, only someone in the 3rd world country would be in a better position. I actually feel bad for people that live in shitty places and get banned, they can have their salaries ruined if they were depending on it, i've heard it happened before.
Yes thats right, its hard to manage your job and in this forum, And we all know that real job are more important in this forum. Yes i also make 10-15 post per day, i can't no longer within 3 hours in this forum because of personal reasons.

Sad to see that this service is only operating within 7 countries. Sad I've always wanted to order food online when I'm with my girl so as to lessen the hassle of calling through the phone or walking on a physical store to buy food. The idea of this service that can be paid with bitcoin is really amazing, though it needs to expand for it to gain a wide audience.

P.S.,
Our country (the Philippines) still lacks a pizza for bitcoin online store. It would be nice to have one since the number of bitcoin users here in the country is increasing. Smiley

BTC > etc
Bitcoin is perfect for ordering deliveries, especially for smaller orders!
takeaway.com only serves 7 countries so far but it looks promising and should be expanding in no time

Damn. It looks like a great service. I would like to be able to pay for food with bitcoin where I'm from. There's only one online food ordering service here and they don't accept bitcoin.

In holland we have thuisbezorg.nl. Works like a charm.

It is the same company, it operates world wide, takeaway.com. The same as in Germany before the fusion.

alt coins are only in the hands of a few in my country, no company uses altcoin, in fact very few know about alt coins even though there have been some national exposure. Sad

Don't you think alt coins are risky as compared to the bitcoins?? I think it is risky to hold altcoins as their nature is unpredictable and we are not sure about the future of altcoins where as we know that bitcoin will last for longer duration as compared to altcoins so it is better to invest in bitcoins.

and altcoins are very risky and more volatile as compared to bitcoins so it is not safe to do investment in altcoins and we don't know about the future of altcoins it might get vanished in coming next months but we are much more sure about the bitcoins that it will last for longer period of time

Yes if you want to invest then invest in bitcoins as compared to altcoins as we do not know the future of altcoins. But we are much sure that bitcoin will last for longer as compared to the altcoins people are much more attracted to altcoins as they pay higher rate of returns in short time but we need to think of the future. And for the future bitcoin is the best option.

Nowadays bitcoin becomes popular payment method due to its offered advantage compared with traditional ways! ppl are keen to pay with bitcoin and merchants will be happy to adopt bitcoin payment to attract customers! It is good for the bitcoin development.

One reason I think it is more popular is because of convenience, and I find this especially true with me; I dont have to enter all my credit card information, phone number, register, etc; I just need to copy and paste an address to send to and the amount to send.

Absolutely. It is the best and convenient way to make a payment for the purchases are made and I believe it is the safest too. You can get rid of credit card details and we have experienced in the past that hackers are very active when the payment is made by credit card.
yeah and hackers can't hacked your bitcoin wallet to stole your coins. And its the easiest way for the min time. And also you can back up your wallet in case of losing data to your phone. You can insert your address to other device using you back up data.

It is better then credit card that is for sure. Credit cards are very easy to hack and once you are aware that your credit card is lost or hacked the post procedure is too hactic for eg calling the bank to block your credit card, apply for the new one etc. So paying with bitcoin is the simplest way.
Yeah. And also you don't need to worry if you don't have a fiat money, you can now exchange your coins easily.

Yes that is the best thing about holding bitcoins you can go anywhere without carrying a cash or credit card and you just need to provide your bitcoin address which makes it so attractive that people have started to use more and more bitcoins at the shopping malls or buying anything online.
You just only need a connection so that you can send your coins to the address that they gave to you, and wait for an minutes or hours, you can now pick up your money to the exchanger that you used.

Yes and I believe it is the safest way to make payment over the internet or in person. I wish that everyone merchant and even the grocery guys starts accepting the bitcoin as a mode of payment as it saves money and time and there is no risk involved in making the payment.

Like you have done there with your email to them that is what we all need to do if we want bitcoin to be taken by all different merchants, my local takeaway now has the option to pay in bitcoin after my constant annoyance of them every time I went in, do we accept bitcoin yet boss? NO! Shame on you  Cheesy  More people keep telling these places this is what we want and this is what we will get, the customer is always right.

Customer is the KING of the market unless the customer keeps on same and same question to the merchants regarding acceptance of bitcoin they will not show their willingness to get into acceptance of bitcoin as a mode of payment so wherever we go to buy some stuff we need to frequently ask the same question Do you accept bitcoins??  Grin Grin Grin

Takeaway.com is probably (for me) the most regular and fequent way that I use bitcoin. I used to have so many wallets/accounts with 0.xxx bitcoin in them... before I converted them into pizzas and burritos Wink
