Every coin on the market has a real world use case just that investors tend to focus more on the buying and selling aspect than using it for transactions.
Too little time has passed for many projects, watch the road maps, everything is written there. I think somewhere in a year or two we will observe the real use of tokens in a huge number of projects.
90% of all altcoin have just an idea... and I wouldn't waste my time reading their whitepaper no talk of buying the shit with my hard earned cash... to me the only real coins out there are the top 30 on cmc
At the same time, if they were fraudsters, they would have done everything in as much detail as possible, they would have written attractive white paper and put the admin in a chat to answer questions, but all this is not there, it seems that they don’t care if the project attracts attention or not.
I'd like to use alts, but there is no useful application for it. Today I use only BTC and ETH. I can pay for almost any kind of internet service in BTC or ETH (VPS, VPN, Proxy and so on). But there is a fact that common people don't use any of them, so there is no natural demand.

You're right. In fact, the cryptocurrency industry is very young, and there are very few projects that have a work product that brings some benefit to society. Most people use crypto-currencies, only as an investment and profit, but as we see the situation has changed and investing in new projects does not make a profit. We all know that token is simply created for the purpose of using it on a project's ecosystem with the benefit of trading it on various exchanges and such token can be created on the various blockchain, whereas coins are created within its own blockchain and have their own wallets. So in my view, yes there are far too many tokens but a very few coins in the market. Most of those shit tokens are useless apart from pump & dump purpose because we hardly see any ICO project successfully implement their vision into work even after successfully completing their crowdsale and that kills their token, platform's potential to be taken seriously by crypto world.
Very coin creator claim his cryptocurrency has a use case but in the end it turns out as fancy words for reaching deep into investors pockets. However for every shit coin, innovative coin, crypto believers and enthusiasts who relate together in the crypto sphere unwittingly fuel financial revolution. So let's us all wait out and see...
It's so easy to claim something like that and i have seen bunch people have been doing it, they claim something while they can't even prove it. But some platforms are legit and they are offering the product that can be used.

yes, the main hope of holding certainly wants to be bought at a higher price so that it gets a profit. but the price here is updated by the market so the value can change at any time. must be patient if you want to sell at a price higher than the purchase price. You say right. Almost coins now are just used for earning profit from buying and selling them, have no any uses for daily life. But I think in the future, when cryptocurrency are accepted widely and they all complete their net, everyone will use it for daily needs

Coins are investment tools based on a project, and why should we buy them at ICO? because the price is still cheap whereas if the project can grow then the price will go up, isn't this profitable? that's why we have to buy coins.

For short term trading you never care about which one real or not some coin, you have check how potential for growing up just in short time to buy and trade,
the real usefulness of altcoin indeed has not seen clearly. but it is also certainly also because of the lack of facilities that still haven't been able to fully complete so that altcoin cannot be applied to real functions. only a handful of places to receive crypto and when this began expanding then even altcoin will be starting to get the effect of the increase in price is high enough.
