Okay. So whats more crazy. Man Utd paying 100m for the best young midfielder in the world who's 23 years old Or Juventus paying £80m for Higuain who's 29 years old and was sold by Madrid for Benzema. I don't think he is worth anywhere near 80 mil especially being 28. Saying that though he is a known proven bagger in italy so it guarantees the next 2 or 3 serie A titles for juventus. Ridiculous fee, he's not even in the top 5 strikers in Europe.

I remember the days when you had to be an outstanding player to cost £30 mil, nowadays you just have to be a very good one to go for £78 mil. This is a lot of money for a 28 year old who doesn't turn up in big games. Just cos man utd paid massively over the odds for pogba doesn't mean you have to go and do the same

I agree with you , because Juventus need good striker after Morata's returning to Real Madrid , but the problem in this transfer is the expensive release clause in Higuain's contract with Napoli , it is £95 m , but I think Napoli might agree on less price , however , it should not be a problem for Juventus ,because they already earned more than £120 m from Pogba's transfer .

Man Utd need to make a statement of intent after a poor season in the Premier League. I think they will sign Pogba & maybe another top player unfortunately.

I am not sure Mahrez got the attention for Wenger. Wenger seems to be in search for an extra defensive midfielder.
His eyes and probably the budget for arsenal are for that.
