The advice is to just ignore what is happening.  This insider has had his total crypto portfolio drop 85% five times over the last two and a half years, and has eventually recovered. So he is not worried and enourages us not to  be worried.
Sent some XLR from masternode wallet to staking wallet today and there was no "window fly out announcement" of the XLR arrival in the staking wallet.  There used to be this.  Wonder why?

There is a way to use wallet on iOS with Progressiva Web App (PWA), idk if it helps, i First ser It on another coin wallet and is great, dont even need to install, It creates the link and app icon directly by the URL

Staking wallet is on a different computer. In the past when I sent XLR from my MN wallet to my Staking wallet, one of those little windows would appear when the transaction arrived like most wallets have.  It appears in the lower right hand corner of your computer announcing the arrival of the crypto coins.

This question will also answer the first. You need to grab the wallet file with private keys and insert it into the Solaris data directory instead of the newly generated wallet file on your new computer. Replace just one file and all your coins are back.

But I think you shouldn't replace a wallet file while the client is running. Not sure, but I think I heard that could cause problems to the file.

On the market something unreal and I am glad that XLR does not lose such space % like most violas.

iOS has nearly finished, and txbit.io exchange has been intensively adjusted with the current alpha version.
All things looks good and moved significant further than as of last week.
Thanks Solaris team for releasing the weekly report.

When I have transfered a coin or token out of a crypto exchange in the past, I always assumed that the process was automated much like if you transferred a token out of your MEW wallet or Solaris wallet.  Is my assumption correct about the process being automated on the exchanges?  In other words, there is no one working for the exchange who has to manually release each withdrawal that takes place on a crypto exchange and thus control each withdrawal in this way?

A good exchange will have it all automatic. Withdrawals should process within a few minutes (or seconds in Txbits case)
But really large withdrwals will probably get flagged and will require manual approval before they process it. For example, KuCoin does this if you try to withdraw 100+ BTC at the same time.

I have confirmed it. The VPN service that you purchase on the Opera browser allows you to use a VPN as long as you use Opera and you can keep your staking going without interruption so that you do not miss out on any rewards.  Great stuff.

Solaris has everything in place ready for when the next bull run come along. Right now I'm not one bit worried about the price and actually it could be a great time to load up on some more Solaris as this could very well be the bottom. Solaris has a lot more going for it then a lot of projects in the top 100 so this is why I'm holding my coins as I believe that Solaris will one day be a top 100 project.

Honestly, I have stopped staking my coins more than one months.
It's mainly because I used only around 300 coins for staking, which gives me very limited staking rewards per day.
Most of my blocks found are orphaned blocks.
It's likely changed dramatically to be the game for only masternodes, not for stakers.
In other words, it's harder to find valid blocks for stakers.

I've currently got 300+ coins and I've only had 17 orphaned blocks in almost 4 months so you mostly finding orphaned blocks is definately not the norm that Myself and the couple other people I personally know who are staking as well.

Agree. I´m also staking some XLR with 225 - 250 Blocks and have no orphans.

Solaris & txbit.io weekly update — Saturday 11th of August

Greetings Solaris Community,

Happy Saturday! It’s time again for another weekly update. We have been getting a ton done with txbit and progressing nicely with the iOS wallet. You can find the details of this week’s updates below.

txbit

Once again this update is txbit heavy. Lot’s of work is going into improving all the aspects of the exchange and hardening the security along every step.

Completed this week:

•Live balance update (in trade screen and bitcoin worth estimation)
•Segregation of javascript with prototype inheritance (faster load times, less code per page)
•View Open and Closed orders, including live updating them
•Cancel open order, including all live update stuff
•Refactor trade database structure so we can present the actual trades that filled the specific order as child object in order history list view
•Fix balance adding/removing issue
• Number of trade engine improvements, prevent duplicate order execution, lower the database calls, handling failures, etc.
•UI Fixes and Improvements

We are happy to share the latest screenshot of the improvements for the MVP :

This is a pre-alpha screenshot. The layout, interface and details are subject to change.

Next Week:

•Refine the Withdrawal and Deposit balance views to use the live update pattern, same as live statistics, removing the need to refresh the page to see balance changes.
•Design Deposit and Withdrawal assurance service for implementation
•Landing Page for txbit.io and Community Coin Voting page Designs complete and handed over to web developers.
•Continue improving various UI and UX elements of the exchange

Solaris

Last Week:

•iOS Solaris wallet development nearing completion. Wallet is running and accepting all transactions, including recognizing incoming zXLR transactions.

•Whitepaper v0.2 preparation. Working on initial draft.

Next Week:

•Continue working on the Solaris whitepaper v0.2.
•iOS Wallet: Continue testing to ensure full compatibility.
•Apple app store registration and verification. We will revisit this topic next week, as we expect delays getting listed on the app store.

Thank you for supporting Solaris !

Solaris will rocket to $10 at least is its first transitional station before moving higher when txbit.io exchange released and been tradeable in fourth quarter.
Personally, Solaris has big potential with their strong team.
However, we have almost started at the same point last year (around $1-$2 price range).
I don't think it's bad situation in general because it means that Solaris has likely found its bottom and will start growing soon.
