honestly i'm not sure what the OP said, like "sell a house to buy altcoin" if so, try to attach proof of your transaction in converting your money into crypto.
I hope someone never does this stupid thing by selling a house just for an altcoin investment. Grin

Never fully invest in altcoins lol I learned that the hard way. Always 40-60 or 50-50 your investment 40 being investing 40% of your funds in bitcoin and 60 in alts.

this is my current investments. do u have any suggestion

20k$ = BNB
20k$ = ADA
20k$ = EOS
20k$ = XEM
20k$ = NEO
10k$ = XRP

Well i hope it wasn't your only house. While i am highly bullish on some alts it doesn't mean i would bet having a change to lose my home over some alts.
And yeah, suggestion. Maybe keep some in BTC and FIAT-money if crypto collapses more. I would also consider buying ADA like you did on these levels because i love their project.

I wouldn't touch the others now, but i have been wrong on my predictions before. But good luck you crazy gambler, hopefully you have made the right choice. Smiley

Are these for long term investments? maybe you should replace xrp into bitcoin or ethereum if you want to hold for long term. I think xrp is just for short term. What about Litecoin? it is also good investment, add litecoin in your portfolio.

I'm thinking about calling bullshit on this post. Are you just looking for attention or did you really invest that much in EOS...lol. Come on. You said "sold your house" not "one of your houses" so I doubt you are a real estate investor that  offed a property to try your luck in crypto. Saying you "sold your house" leads me to believe it's your only one. Which is cool if you like living on the street while your portfolio gos through the typical highs and lows.

Nice, risky decision but I like it. Even CZ did this kind of thing way back when he started. Much better to hold bitcoins first before you hold some altcoins and now is the right time to buy. At least 20% of your portfolio in bitcoin then 80% to diversify in altcoins that you like. I think you should grab some ETH, RVN and pick new altcoins that are very undervalued.

I think you have it the other way around.

With the way bitcoin dominance is showing it's teeth right now, it may instead be better to invest 80% in bitcoin then leave the reamining 20% to diversify in altcoins with good fundamentals (ETH would be my only pick by the way).

I also think that he just based his cryptocurrency purchases on the people around him or he just ask random strangers on what to buy and he basically did buy those suggestions. It is better for you to just keep the BNB and ADA and sell the others and stick to Bitcoin and just wait for further movement of the market so when the market dumps then that is your signal to accumulate more altcoin and don't forget to buy the top altcoins for a small diversification.
What kind person he is that advises others to buy crypto from sale of the house, this is very stupid things.

Where He save all the altcoins He buy? I suggest buy hardware wallet to save all the altcoins compared put all in exchange, in my opinion trezor is the best one https://trezor.io/coins/.

bitcoin is currently around $ 8k, my suggestion is it's a good opportunity to buy it. especially in the last 2 months bitcoin is able to reach a price of $ 110k or more. so, you can imagine how great this coin when it rose significantly was very unexpected and also vice versa when the price dropped. need to analyze the market before investing to estimate capital and also the feedback that will be received.

First of all, you have made a great investment and I can suggest you to have to work with a professional. Then a portfolio without ETH and BTC is completely risky . You should remove XEM and NEO from the portfolio and add ETH and BTC.
That was a very bad investment and it was an immature decision on his part. Nobody will want to purchase altcoins.

I guess you don't have any other obligations for selling your house to buy altcoins. Buy my main concern here, are you really sure with those coins that you have bought with the money you've got from selling your house? You don't have bitcoin on it which I was thinking to be the main highlight of your portfolio. It's not too late, you can still sell some of those altcoins and go with bitcoin while it's still early.

Why did you sold your house for cryptocurrency? The risk of losing your funds is very high, i think you should get back your house asap before it's too late. Well if you pursue you must have at least put a portion of your investment to bitcoin, bnb is a good choice i really don't like the others on your portfolio.

I think you miss Ethereum also but I saw nothing wrong with your investments especially if you trust them as you have sold your house just to buy that investments.

But if I were to suggest, it will be better if you remove ADA and buy ethereum then remove NEO and buy bitcoin so you can balance your investments. Just to lessen the risk of your investments.

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
Well, I do not believe you sold your house.

Depends on whether you worked hard to buy the house or you got it easily.
It still surprises me that people will spend so much money, with zero inquiry, research, investigation. This is probably why it is good to work hard for our money so that we understand the value . Seems easy money/things prevent people from being critical/ thorough with things.
If you had thoroughly researched cryptocurrency trading before investing, you wouldn't have sold your home to invest in it. Knowledgeable traders don't invest what they can't afford to lose.

I hope that in the future you can make a profit and buy a bigger house. This market is unpredictable and you can be rich or poor at any time.
All of the altcoins above are great and you are the right investment

That is $110k in total, why did you decide to investing that much in cryptocurrency ?
BNB is a potential coin, good you have it. But why not buy some bitcoin ? Now bitcoin price is low, you should have some bitcoins in your portfolio.

I want to believe you did your homework accordingly before arriving at this kind of portfolio. But I still feel you should have ask for suggestions before investing into those coins because a lot of good suggestions has been rolled out for you here which would have helped make better decision. The most important of them is the non-inclusion of bitcoin. Your investment is at higher risk without allocating reasonable capital to BTC. It is still very cheap right now and there are more energy for it to increase now or in the future. Also, my mind isn't sitting well with NEO, XEM and XRP. Give those slot to bitcoin and find a way to squeeze in ETH. All the best.

I don't want to start putting blames on you but selling your house to buy altcoins which is a risky investment wasn't ideal in the first place. Now looking at your list, I think you should use 50% for BTC, then divide among the altcoins you mentioned. Consider LINK and ICX too, I've been following their projects and I'm impressed so far with the development progress. Do proper research to avoid regrets.

While reading this I remembered the guy who sold his house for investing in the BTC way back to December 2017. Right after this news, media started to ask the same questions which you answered here and the price plumbed to the low levels which until today the sideway trading cycle was not broken. Investment decisions have to be carefully analyzed by the investor but selling house for more amount of holdings is not smart idea, to be honest.

There used to be several such stories, or I should say threads here, of some fellow selling his house, or all of his belongings, or inheritance and putting it all into BTC or an alt coin. Many were troll attempts, 'Oh woe is me, I lost half of my money already! My wife left me! Oh noes...'  -- which kind of backfired as trolling when BTC went crazy in 17/18.

As for the OP, I won't say he's right or wrong. But I sure hope his house was just a small part of his total holdings. If someone is super rich and wants to put a house worth of money into crypto, that's fine ... if that is everything someone has, kind of a big risk there.

And as others have stated, I would recommend at least some of those funds be put into BTC.
