You should report that in your bounty manager so there will be no conflict with your application in your bounty campaign. These people are taking advantage the situation that is why you need to report so these people will be permanently banned from this forum,i know how it feels when your identity is being used by someone, report it to the bounty manager and the moderator so you they can take action against these people.

My username also has been used by others and I reported to the dev of that project. Luckily, the rules finally changed and those who use others' username didn't get any reward. So just report the fact and make those people wasting time on nothing.

This is really annoying. It's good that you noticed this. If you complain, the impersonator won't do it anymore. I hope this isn't happening anymore.

Hi! I decided to say this out because it's really terrible.  I recently joined bounty and upon checking the spreadsheet,  I discovered my Telegram's username has been used by some one here in this forum. This isn't the first time I had experienced it. I must have lost a lot in in projects I have joined due to this evil.

I still have the bitcointalk username of the impersonator. Do you think I should make it known to everyone here by posting the username?
One solution could be to post your ethereum address on your profile so if you report the incident then it will be solved faster as you should be the only one who can put that into your profile.

there are two possibilities, first, you register twice and the second is really in use by someone. you better give tau manager so that all can be completed properly.
I think so dev too, it could be because of your mistake of registering 2 times, but if you feel used by others you can tell bounty manager that you follow. so you will know what happened and the problem will be resolved. this kind of action should not be allowed, if this is allowed to be more and more people who are harmed by the act.

Is it not common sense for a telegram bounty to require you to state your telegram name in the bitcoin talk thread? Just for the sake of stopping identity thieves like this? Its a simple thing to do, and if the bounty doesnt provide it, its probably not even worth joining due to lack of security thinking.

I just had the same thing happening to me, someone using my nickname + link to my profile to try and get it in THE SAME (how stupid ?) campaign i'm in at the moment.

I didn't even try to understand how/why and did contact the bounty manager right away.

No answer yet, but i still believe the current bounty manager for the camapaign I'm in, is honest and competent as this scammer (error ?) was already redlisted.

You should do the same, bounty managers are people you can talk to Wink.

its been a normal technique of the scammers and hackers on bounty campaigns using other telegram username,as they are not easily be noticed because of many participants, and because most of the bounty campaign managers are too busy handling more participants in they're projects.

Some bounty need account replies, so do not worry about it
Yeah right mate.and some bounty campaigns now requiring KYC so there will be no multiple accounts and scammers may be alert of not having a chance to vicimized

I faced same problem. That was so bad for anyone. Needs every manager checking the profile clearly and check Mew address for that.
Everybody should conscious about this things.
People who worked this, he is really a bad person.

you should report it to bounty manager so the people who stole your username got excluded from the bounty.
it also happen to me recently, when i open spreadsheet of a bounty that i join there's another people using my telegram username. i dunno why there's people who stole our work and rob our earning.
it become popular lately people stole Telegram or Twitter or Bitcointalk Username.
this kind of people should got banned permanently from this forum.

This is a very bad act, bounties hunter do this alot to accumulate more gain in any bounty, as many people have already said, just report the issue to the bounty manager, am sure they will find appropriate solutions to the problem.

Reporting it to the Bounty Manger would solve the issue and end the cheater's deceitful way of participating a campaign using someone else's credentials. This is also one of the job of Bounty Manager to see to it that every participant he/she have on the spreadsheet are all true and legit.

I think you gotta tell your issue to bounty manager. If you're lucky and manager will turn to be a good guy, he will help to figure it out. But he also can say that now it's too late and there's nothing he can do.

I also just saw someone use my name and all to join a signature campaign:

2/24/2018 22:29:31   qiwoman2   https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/qiwoman2-340890   Legendary Member   8350   [email protected]   0xbA9d2f46F2cBF465a97C4E054AF24d0e57ec80B4   Rejected

Thank GOD THE IDIOT got rejected but now we have new kinds of scammers entering the bounty scene and it's really getting to be so pathetic now. Why don't these motherf8ckers go work like we do and do an honest day's work instead of stealing our identities that we have taken so much time and effort to build on this forum to use it to their own ends and then you wonder why BOUNTIES now a lot f them require KYC. With a shit ton of cheaters can you blame them introducing KYC?  Cry

This is not fair!
I think the best thing you can do if you really  want to take part in the bounty is to inform the bounty manager and possibly the ICO devs team via their forum, to change the particulars for you and ban the scammer completely.

Yeah in the last 2-3 months the scammers here in bitcointalk are hot to use someoney Telegram, Bitcointalk or Twitter name because they wanna make some quick bucks with more accounts. Report that guy and it should be fine.
