With the recent events of twitter shareholders making Musk accountable for his actions in buying the platform it does seem the acquisition of him taking over will move forward.
Now if he really into cryptocurrency or even bitcoin for that matter, he must show his interest by revolutionizing it's use on the platform even further.
The former CEO of twitter had much interest in bringing this forward and did:

I learned not to take into account what Elon Musk says, he should be more aware of trips to space and not mess with bitcoin anymore, whatever he does, stop doing with bitcoin and twitter to many of the community of bitcoin does not interest, it is a person who has sold bitcoin and is only thinking about his money, how to get more, that behavior is normal in the rich, yes, he is an influencer type, but up to there.

I think he's just pretending to be a fat troll, when in fact he's a trickster, and does everything purely for his own gain. He doesn't care about cryptocurrencies, he just manipulated the market well at the time and was able to make a lot of money. And because cryptocurrencies are not sufficiently regulated, his tricks go unpunished.

Even I don't believe it anymore. I don't really think much about what he does on his social media. Because I know he's just making a new opinion to move the market. Maybe for newcomers will make believe. But for me Elon has disappointed me a lot because he is unstable with what he says. I agree if he wants to make money for himself only. I do follow his account but I don't really take what he writes seriously.
This is what majority of the cryptocurrency users do now. He's a businessman and he prefers money over everything. Same time he's brilliant enough to make use of opportunities. So, his words change with time. This is common with him. Right now it looks like an right time to make some disturbance. For time being people are good enough and haven't reacted knowing about him and his tweets.
When we do experience first time things like on what Elon had done in the past then we do usually end up on playing on someones hands specially for a businessman or billionaire or simply an influential

person but we've seen enough and able to learnt up things after that and we've seen on how he had made use of that opportunity and now investors becomes more wiser and more aware on how

this market could really be somewhat manipulated by these calls or tweets which we've seen that recently that his activities arent really getting that much effect on overall market.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
I hope people will learn from this and never again trust this man with their money. Not like you should trust anybody with your money, but Musk showed he's as two faced as McAfee was.
At least John can no longer spew his hate on social media, but Elon is not going to stop. You'll hear him and his new big project that is going to get abandoned because Musk is bipolar and has his mood swings all the time. He wanted to go into space, but forgot about it, he wanted to make high speed tunnels below cities - pretty much a dead project. He wanted to invest in bitcoin now bitcoin is bad and the community hates him, so nope. He wanted to mine bitcoin with Jack Dorsey using green energy, which is probably going to get abandoned like everything else.

Musk is a professional troll, and while he does seem to hold some beliefs and values, I don't think they apply much to cryptos. Cryptos are just an area of pumping and dumping to him, clearly, and a meme is more important that anything. So sometimes he gives people hope that he's not all anti-Bitcoin, and other times news hit that his company sold tons of their bitcoins. Most recently, it seems, he reiterated support of Dogecoin. But then again, I remember that he once made a Twitter poll on whether his audience wants to see Dogecoin as a payment for Teslas, and the majority voted yes, but he didn't do it anyway.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
...
It was all in his calculations, admittedly he was a master at manipulation. In fact, he has never been interested in bitcoin or dogecoin, the only thing that matters to him is profit, just be profitable he is ready to tweet anything. The lawsuit with the social network Twitter, I guess is also in the plan, sooner or later you will own this social network, but it will be lower than the original valuation of 44 billion.

True, i think Elon is a master of Market manipulation, He prove that with Bitcoin and Dogecoin, the fact that he sold most of his BTC to capitalize Tesla is the prof. And he is in his right to do it. Buy and sell bitcoin isn't something illegal, but what is illegal is to use his influence for a market manipulation. He is playing with fire.

Elon can manipulate the market once but we should not let him do it again and again. The best way to stop him from manipulating is to stop reacting to his tweets.
If we collectively stop responding to his tweets, his tweets will have no impact on the market.
Elon Musk is a top businessman in the world. He chose this crypto when crypto was not so familiar. He used to tweet about a particular coin for a long time, then the price of that coin would increase more in the market and a certain time that get down. Again after a few days the same situation happened. Investors generally understand these things later. So his tweets about crypto-currencies are much less than before. Maybe it can be his business strategy or it can be for long term strategy.

People get fooled about his tweet because he make them think that he's unto crypto and support its growth, but he's totally exposed now and people knows he's intention that's why his last stint never works and I believe the current little progress cannot do anything with Elon Musk activity so maybe its good not to relate his name on each movements because all of those are complete lie. He's tweet is just for pure business and he just want to caught people's belief then earn with it.

Exactly. He got totally exposed for being a no-coiner and an egomaniacal, meme-posting and incompetent public figure. But then again I have been saying this for ages. Everything he does he only does to boost his own overinflated ego.

Still, coiners should take notice that Elon Musk's fans are not selling their coins, even though he is doing exactly that. I guess I was wrong about most of his fanbase being sheep who follow around another populist. And Elon's Bitcoin Sell-Off has not had much of an impact on the price. Only slightly down ever since he announced his no-coiner status.

All in all, Bitcoin remains strong.

Who honestly gives a crap? I don't especially after throwing the entire cryptocurrency market into chaos several times so far which helped him earn a ton of money and were smart moves, but they proved that he didn't really care about BTC.

Musk rose to the top thanks to his insane greed and selfishness. He is a master manipulator who knows how to deal with different kinds of people.

This is why whatever he says or does related to the cryptocurrency market isn't reliable or trustworthy. Just my 2 cents.
No, Everything you say is spot on about Musk and I fully agree.
But you can not ignore the fact that he does move the markets, no matter how much you despise the guy or what he has done and is doing.
Musk has alot of influence on anything he gets his hands into whether that pumps it's value or in this case dumps it.

Elon had sold $6.9bln worth of his tesla company's shares on the looming court case to do with the twitter deal inwhich he backed out of.
https://www.theverge.com/2022/8/9/23299343/elon-musk-tesla-stock-sells-twitter-trial
No wonder he started selling his holdings in bitcoin and now needing to sell tesla stock. It's showing just how this deal with twitter had backfired on his plans to be a multi-social media mogul.

Now we know the answer from the most recent news breaking a couple of hours ago which is causing the price to drop again after rising a bit after a 5 week slump:
https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/tesla-earnings-q2-2022-elon-musk-live/card/tesla-sells-75-of-its-bitcoin-purchases-tgkMdMf1EHDvdniqHu8S

https://www.coindesk.com/business/2022/07/20/tesla-sold-936m-worth-of-bitcoin-in-second-quarter/

Selling 75% of your holdings and it being worth $963 million sure doesn't sound you support something that you fully believe in.

Having a huge helping hand from Binance so to bring enough capital to the table it does seem the next iteration will have something to do with bitcoin when the takeover from Musk who had announced he will be operating as interim CEO for the beginning of the restructuring in the next 6 months.
