Well he might be using it to help fund his new offer of a $46.5 bln offer reportedly submitted to the SEC filing put in today.
"Elon Musk is exploring whether to commence a tender offer for Twitter, according to a new securities filing.
The updated filing published on Thursday says Musk has received commitments for $46.5 billion to help finance the potential deal."

Up from $43 bln earlier this week.
He really wants this company if he keeps upping it by the billions and I can see the rest of the shareholders eventually accepting the offer.

Just imagine if he puts twitter on the blockchain and have it running off the lightning network?
Now that would be pretty epic.
Get ready for bitcoin or doge symbol to replace the bird logo on their page soon if this does actually happen.

-He is not warming up to bitcoins, he is warming up to the idea of gaining more profit from it while he sits back and manipulate the market from afar.
-He does understand the value of Bitcoins as a whole when we are talking about exchanging with the Altcoins as well therefore it's essential that they start with that.
-The amount of profit that can be made by the volatility in the bitcoin marker far encompasses the one that would be made in other markets as well
-He would not be consistent with his support since he has done this before to only run back afar with dark market manipulation tricks
-He is already holding bitcoins, everyone knows it, every big investor is, every rich guy is, it's an undeniable part of our lives now which gives it more credibility and more importance as well.

My oh my. Has the tide had turned in less than a year on the Elon vs Twitter saga.
Where he is in a position to outright own the platform he is known infamously for.
Could he buy out the shareholders or will this poison pill scenario play out and deny him.
Because as we all know:
Elon hates to lose and will keep at it until he proven wrong with whatever he does.

Among the achievements Elon has reached, he's a clever and smart guy, been following him since he established SpaceX, and even I myself would like to be paid in Bitcoin rather than be paid in fiat, I mean who wouldn't want to be paid in Bitcoin, right? you may think of volatility as a downside but it actually is the advantage, just imagine the price peaking from the current price right now, the profit itself cannot even be compared when you are earning money through fiat.

It is very much true the guy knows about money and how to create companies that can build on the other one.
No denying this well known fact and can't blame him for doing this.
Just searching on the non-fungible token craze going in full boar lately, had brushed past this article about his rap song debut some time ago.
https://nypost.com/2021/03/17/elon-musk-passes-on-1-million-offer-for-his-nft-techno-song
I knew about the nft released at the beginning of the year, yet didn't follow up on if he sold it.
He passed up on a million dollar offer on it from an owner of an exchange back in April.
I guess he is just so rich he doesn't need the money for his own creations anymore. Cheesy

I don't know the reason for the infatuation by Bitcoin community towards certain individuals such as Warren Buffet and Elon Musk. Do we need the acceptance from these people for our survival? I don't think so. Bitcoin, being a decentralized asset doesn't require the approval or recommendation from anyone. We are long past the stage, where promotion from one individual would have caused a large change in adoption and acceptability.

It's all the better for us users, right? He is a MASSIVE influencer. If he so much as speaks about an app, it gets a massive boost to its userbase, as happened with Signal recently. No doubt, him talking about crypto will pique others' interests, and quite a bit more people will try to adopt it, try to get in on the game. And, if he wants, he can also educate others regarding crypto after doing some research on his own, the guy is no slouch and actually knows technical stuff, he's not just some marketing guru that wants to sell stuff, sure he wants profits, but he is an Engineer first.

He created PayPal, the guy knows what the world needs in terms of payments, and I sure hope he uses his influence to push crypto in a positive way, unlike the current media that has been droning on about how most uses of bitcoin are for committing frauds.

Where money is, rich always comes to get his profit.
There is nothing wrong with that, it may look scummy to us but that is how some of this billionaires become successful. Regarding Musk's stand on bitcoin, I think that he has a warm relation to it because he is an innovator and a big tech giant and by knowing that, we can assume that he does like Bitcoin. Maybe someday we will be on Mars and in a colony founded by Elon, we will be using bitcoin or a cryptocurrency to purchase goods and services.

There are Bitcoin ATMs at a Tesla factory in Nevada. Musk has probably been a long-time hodler but he just likes to downplay it for whatever reason. I wonder if Bitcoin would see the same kind of pump as when he has come out and endorsed Dogecoin.

Nice if that is true, however, even if Musk holds bitcoin we still can't assume that he is a big holder. Elon Musk being the richest person in the world is busy with his exploration thing, his space exploration project is big, it needs more funds and I believe he invested a lot on this to materialize.

Any rich person can buy bitcoin but that does not mean they'll all in on it or they invested a bigger portion of their portfolio to bitcoin.

IMO Elon Musk is playing with crypto, at least from curiosity. I cannot imagine an innovative man like him not to have any coins, minimum to play with. But I don't expect any big public crypto move anytime soon.
Well we all know Elon Musk for being the biggest troll on twitter.
His way of playing with people since he has everyone dissecting every single word of his tweets and he knows this.
So he goes along with it and has a bit of fun doing so.
He recently posted about a random stock and it pumped and he really didn't know what it was or did.
So you see what kind of pull he has to the people who follow him on every single word he says? Wink

Believe me this guy is gonna be leader in the crypto space. Don't why but he does look at the cryptography as language of universe which can be understood by humans and alien species. Dont get me wrong here, this is not off topic talk but a grim reality of the future. With the available intelligence and knowledge Human Race reached at the end of Solar System (through satellites) and landed over moon within 50 years!

With the guy Elon, just imagine what we are capable of doing in next 20-30 years? May be meet intergalactic species. Then we will have trades in between and I guess we can do this through cryptography.

Bitcoin would become the point of contact while making heavy and overflowed information transaction.

Elon must be believing in this theory and he is not into profits from bitcoin but something more.

Musk is right about money being simply and information system, but he is partially right about labor allocation.
Money is an information system about allocation of resources, not only labor.
I don't know if he is starting to "warm up" to Bitcoin. He seems neutral to every currency,it doesn't matter if it's crypto or fiat(his dogecoin promotion was a joke).
I agree with what he said about production of goods and services being the most important element of capitalism. We became way too focused on the financial markets,"buy low, sell high" and that BS.Capitalism is all about effective usage of resources and pleasing the consumers.

Buy Bitcoin in Dubai | Buy Bitcoin in Istanbul
Bitcoin and Blockchain technology totally become mainstream. So much so that even people who had no idea to invest until this time showed an interest in investing in Bitcoin. But all that aside, Elon Musk is a true tech guy. This is very important if he is aware of innovative technology like cryptocurrency and does not ignore it.

This guy has some different thoughts about his future and he's very clear in his investment plans on buying BTC I think he wants to change his entire business payment via BTC because it gives him multiple options on making profit like you can buy goods on based on market price well if this goes smoothly I am sure he will again become the richest person as the future of BTC has been massive.

Elon is very clever and business tycoon without any intent he won't say he wanted to buy/ sell goods in BTC, think about it guys.

Yes, I know of Elon's escapades into owning up to being the CEO of Doge coin. Cheesy
I had a post with a magazine cover of a doge on it with elon's name next to it somewhere. Wink

Saylor did reach out to elon on his twitter for an invitation to join him on his podcast to discuss about bitcoin. I don't know what became of that but I made a post about what I managed to find out so far.

I Also see on official Dogecoin twitter that says "Dogecoin is an open source peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, favored by shibas worldwide. Elon Musk thinks we're pretty cool. [RTs are not endorsements]" https://twitter.com/dogecoin  Grin Grin

Why did you leave this tweet out? It is his latest about bitcoin.

starting to warm up?

"Bitcoin is almost as bs as fiat money"
https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1340588909974200321

Now, I`m not a expert but it seems to me he is not warming up to it calling it almost as bullshit as fiat.

You bitcoiners sure have a retarded backward thinking mind set.

By almost it still means its better than fiat. I think he's feeling some regret for knowing about it and not putting a lot of money into it. If he did that instead of tweeting he'd have much more fiat now to spend on his cars, rockets and women.

He's right about that error and latency. Fiat money is either slow or requires third party like a bank or paypal to be sent. Secure fiat is not fast - you have to give cash to someone. Fast fiat is not secure.
Bitcoin is fast and secure but it's not cheap to sent. If it has a weak point that's it at the moment.

Well the truth is, it is not almost as bs as fiat money, it is as bs as fiat money. A frozen pizza is almost as good as a pizza stores, but their both still pizza or bullshit in the case.

Now why would he say that?

Probably because central bankers still win.

Who will have all the coins in the end? Who will have most of the miners? Who will charge you enforced tax AKA network fees and obtain all of the coins in the end now matter how long you hold, the second you make a transaction the central bankers get your coins.

Bitcoin is as bs as fiat money.
It runs off the fumes of fiat.
