Is this a win for Bitcoin that Elon musk is rooting for Bitcoin with his post? Yes I think so, but is there something in this for him, well yes but it’s a benefit that everyone might gain unlike when he was rooting for doge coin, unlike Dogecoin bitcoin is already well established and it isn’t looking at primary boosting investors pocket rather Bitcoin is about globalization, it’s at a high stage where a global adoption of bitcoin is very possible, so I am glad Elon musk has realized that.

Nobody says he is a crypto expert. Far from it!
But he does know future technology and definitely knows how to utilize it in ways that many can not accomplish in their life times.

He knows how to think outside the box and it allows him to advance whatever companies he leads towards their goals at an accelerated rate.
Now if he can just do this for cryptocurrenies we would be at $100k per BTC by now!

He is not only an influencer, not only one of the richest people in the world. He is still a businessman that will think about money that he can agin.
And tweeting about Bitcoin and maybe another cryptocurrency, he always knows that what he tweets always attract the world's attention. That is why it may be one of the strategies to make Bitcoin more accepted in the world, or for pumping the price and otehrs? ANd the last or end result is about ganing more profits and money.
He officially is the richest man in the world with this acquisition of yet another fully developed company to add to his collect of successful ones.And tweeting about Bitcoin and maybe another cryptocurrency, he always knows that what he tweets always attract the world's attention. I think SpaceX has a more broader reach than Bezos and Branson's and Tesla is also a household name when it comes to electric cars.
He also has implemented payments via Doge coin for subscriptions to the Twitter Blue service which authenticates users automatically and gives them added features on the platform.

he can do whatever he wants to do but at the end of the day, it is true that he is a businessman and every step he will make, he knows has impact on his business interests. he won't get twitter if he is not seeing something on this social media platform. who knows, his acquisition of twitter will speed up the crypto payment via socmed? not only doge but btc as well. and with his positive approach on crypto market, he may be one of those influencers who will assist in increasing the adoption of crypto.
remember, a lot of people still look up to him, even if we say he is not by any means a crypto expert.

I also see how smart Elon is as he can totally predict the future of fiat losing its present value and that cryptocurrency will be our new future.
This doesn't take a smart person to work this out, it requires someone who can think clearly without bias. A lot of people are very defensive of fiat, without really knowing it. We've basically been told this is how it is, and you'll learn to love it, despite personally to me money being one of the biggest issues in the world. The real question is what cryptocurrency will replace the current fiat system, and will it be Bitcoin? Bitcoin mitigates some of its problems, but not all. I'm not completely sure, and I've said previously that I believe Bitcoin might not be the solution to our problem, but a ways of getting there. A foundation if you will.
I might be wrong, and I know that paragraph there will be greeted with some scepticism, but I'm not trying to say altcoins are the way to go, because quite clearly currently Bitcoin is the most promising. However, Bitcoin to me might just be the prototype, unless it can adapt, if it can adopt, and evolve to our needs while improving fiat even more, there's no reason why Bitcoin can't be the solution. At the moment, Its not the complete solution, but rather a partial solution to a pretty bad global money system.

Like Jack Dorsey, Elon Musk has always been a big fan of blockchain and cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin and Dogecoin. So it doesn't come as a surprise to me to see him discuss currency systems. It also won't be a surprise to me when Bitcoin gets integrated to Tesla products and services. Musk is a smart guy and he knows that there's an incoming financial evolution that would make fiat obsolete in the coming years. So it's best to stay with the winning team.
I also see how smart Elon is as he can totally predict the future of fiat losing its present value and that cryptocurrency will be our new future. He has always been a believer of blockchain and cryptocurrency so its not something new that he has always the positive vibes for cryptocurrency. But i don't think bitcoin is his main focus, most likely its dogecoin that he wants to hype it again to maximize its price increase. So its definitely the same old intention is still there.

If he ends up spending around 50 billion dollars just for twitter, would that be one of the highest bids for a social media company ever? I mean there are companies that worth more, namely facebook (meta) owns instagram and whatsapp as well, but never bought them for that high, they are just owned by the founder mark as well so even though it is valued higher, I do not remember an acquisition this big before.
To be fair, I do not remember many 50 billion dollar purchases of anything that easily, that is like a nation level purchase and not a person level one. Would be weird to see, I have zero idea if it will be better or worse, he is unpredictable that way.

but I see twitter is the most active social media in the cryptocurrency field. just try to see every new token or coin project, the first account to use is twitter and telegram. and rarely use facebook in the beginning. so this twitter is better known among cryptocurrencies. even doge prices can skyrocket as a result of Elon's tweet on twitter. then Elon certainly see greater potential in the future about this twitter. so he is willing to spend a lot of money just to get twitter. and about facebook. I don't think mark zucke**** will ever sell it. whatever price is offered.

He didn't spend it all for this acquisition from his own pocket but took out two huge loans given out by a couple of Canadian banks and actually sold one for one tesla shares he held so to be able to put in such a bid for the company.To be fair, I do not remember many 50 billion dollar purchases of anything that easily, that is like a nation level purchase and not a person level one. I don't follow his Twitter, but from what I saw, I got impression that he always been positive about crypto, blockchain and obviously, Bitcoin. So' I'm not very surprised to see him posting about Bitcoin. And I think that endorsement from person like Musk means a lot.
A smart person will always be positive in all his actions, regardless of what his real intention is. And knowing about Elon, he will always be a big influencer to everyone especially for all the newbies out there. So not really surprising for all of us if he stick on bitcoin because he knows that its going to bring huge profits in our investments in the future.

IMO Elon Musk is playing with crypto, at least from curiosity. I cannot imagine an innovative man like him not to have any coins, minimum to play with. But I don't expect any big public crypto move anytime soon.

Yeah, we wanted to see how he will go and clear the platforms not just bots or manipulative accounts, but scammers as well. We all know that twitter was a big target for criminals by hacking legit accounts and then totally sold their scams by impersonating.
He is such a influencer more so when he acquires Twitter, there could be drastic changes coming and hopefully it will be good for everyone, including crypto enthusiast.

This news is no longer surprising. but i think not so fast. I think that Elon really has a lot of bitcoins in his wallet. he is a smart person who is good at seeing potential and good at controlling situations. and of course Elon must see such great potential in the future. those of us who don't have much bitcoin just have to be good at watching these big players move. it will make it easier for us to determine when to enter and when to leave.

I think they said he managed to pay off the shareholders @$54.20 per share which to him was a steal for now he has a playground for saying and doing whatever he wants.

Well he might be using it to help fund his new offer of $46.5 bln offer reportedly submitted to the SEC filing put in today.
"Elon Musk is exploring whether to commence a tender offer for Twitter, according to a new securities filing.
The updated filing published on Thursday says Musk has received commitments for $46.5 billion to help finance the potential deal."
Up from $43 bln earlier this week.
He really wants this company if he keeps upping it by the billions and I can see the rest of the shareholders eventually accepting the offer.
Just imagine if he puts twitter on the blockchain and have it running off the lightning network?
Now that would be pretty epic.
Get ready for bitcoin or doge symbol to replace the bird logo on their page soon if this does actually happen.
