Not sure if you could be able to get back your hacked BTC. But I will advise you put a call, chat or mail to the exchanger support and lodge a complaint about what jusy happened, they may have a sort of way to help you out.

Moreover, you also need to check yourself, if maybe you aren't even the one that left a loophole for the so called hacked to hack your account.

Looks like someone a week ago, converted all my altcoins to BTC then transferred it out.

Reported to Bittrex but what are the chances of getting anything back (it was 0.12 BTC about $700)? Are Bittrex liable at all?

Its strange because normally bittrex emails whenever someone logs on but I didnt get it at the time. I can see the dates/times these transactions occured.

Nope. As BTC is totally safe. It goes for the new owner of Your coins as well.

You can't take it back, it's very difficult. saving large amounts of assets in a wallet exchange is a very bad idea.

there is no other way unless you have to accept reality.

That's why 2fa is really important and I believe if you had activated it in your account, the hacker wouldn't have had access to your account. I doubt there's anything Bittrex will do in this regard but let's wait and see.

Since the coins are out of the exchange already I don't believe you can get your funds back and I believed you used a wrong link chrome of Bittrex so next time try to get your exchange link from coin market cap thats what I normally do. And try to always be careful the kind of sites you visit when online try read before you proceed to be on a safer side sorry for the lost.

dont be greedy
all exchanger regulations are the same, when the funds have been sent to another wallet with confirmation, the responsibility of the exchanger has been released,
if indeed your account is hacked, bittrex will definitely ask how you can lose your account so that it is hacked? it's clearly your fault
no one else can help you, sir. except God

that includes the usual phishing hack, if bitcoin is already in the hands of hackers I don't think it will be easy to get. so you have to be careful when using your laptop or PC to avoid phishing.

We need to safeguard our assets especially if it is placed on Exchangers. Because there are many threats like hackers. It is best to place Altcoins into a more secure wallet

I think the security of an account on Bittrex is quite strict by using 2fa to access it, maybe the exchanger will not refund your funds due to personal negligence
Furthermore, I recommend that you also use 2fa security when logging into the main email

that is a very annoying thing with the theft of coins that we have, and I don't think that will be able to return any coins that have been hacked and the bittrex will not be responsible for all that.

Bittrex is not responsible here because Bitrex always sends notification emails if someone logs in using a new IP address. You can track the address where your BTTC is gone but you cannot do anything to get it back. So you are your own security in the crypto room. make sure you are aware of this in the future by being careful with your private key and don't let anyone have access to your computer. hope bittrex will help you get your coins back.

This is the risk of using crypto, which is vulnerable to hacking. Until now, victims of hacking accounts are very difficult to be able to get back a stolen account, but if a hacked service platform might be responsible because the hacked is not an account but their service.

Unfortunately, it will be impossible to get your money back if the hacker succeeded to withdraw your tokens to his address there is no way to get them back.
You had to be more careful to avoid this situation. Find how the hacker got access to your account, he may have the ability to access other accounts on other websites.

In my opinion you made mistake. If Exchange is not obliged to send mail, using 2FA is not the problem of exchange or the use of a weak password. You are right, most of secure exchange sends mail, but it is your fault that you don't protect your money. Anyway, if it is written in the rules, your resistance is futile.

I guess its better for you to contact the support, I am using Bittrexx for 2 years now and  their security  is more tight compare last year.  Your situation is quite odd and maybe a glitch error or someone hacked your account.

Bittrex will just wash their hands on individual hacks, because they are covered in their ToS. These companies will only do something when there are a large hack and they stand to lose customers with the bad publicity, if they do nothing.  Roll Eyes

That's what I meant on my previous reply here. No one would believed that Bittrex will do some sh*t for just an individual account so complaints will be just sent to thin air. It's really impossible that funds will just lost in an instant and the user is sure that their security is fine. The hacker bypassed the 2fa or email verification or any types of verification so the reason is, a) hacker knows the victim personally b) Bitrrex f*cked them up. Just a speculation though.

Anyways, I also mentioned that there are maybe part of the story that OP missed or forgot so our answer here just depends on what OP told us.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
If your assets still exist, immediately contact Cust-service to temporarily freeze your account, then you can change the password along with Google Auth for security.
Please read again what OP stated. Funds are lost. Even if he freezes his account it's useless.

All he can do is to move on and use other reputed exchange but if you still want to use your bittrex account make sure you that you enable all the security features of any exchange including 2fa.

I am suffering from same case and same problem . because I have also lost my hitbtc account . How can I feedback my account ? Please help anyone...
I read/saw many cases before about hacked funds from hitbtc even 2fa is enabled so your case is not surprising. What you can do is to stay away from them and take your mistakes as a lesson. Or try to enable all security feature of hitbtc as what I mentioned above, and at least change your email as well.

if you find a problem like this it is better to immediately contact contact support especially about account problems, I have never heard information that a Bittrex account can be hacked, so this is most likely your own carelessness. because if indeed this hacking happened massively, I'm sure there will soon be the latest news regarding this matter
