China's going to ban BTC again. They needed to formulate a more powerful amnesia drug to dose their citizens with (since the original one had a tolerance built up to it), so they panic sell and crash the markets even further.

Even if it launch. I see many other wonderful news hitting bitcoin world since beginning of 2015. NEM is not gonna change much for regular bitcoin enthusiast at all, why shall we care?

It is just 2 days until 15th of April. I wonder what is going on, and of course the price of bitcoin will rise or fall.

No, when people get refunds they submit their returns early (typically February) and have their refunds well before April 15. The laggards are almost all the ones who owe additional taxes. So I'm fairly certain that's not it.
Danny has a record of being a very helpful and informative poster here, so it's odd that he's gone missing for so long. I don't think the news will turn out to be nothing or something stupid. It's just a question (IMHO) of whether the news will be big for all of us, or just from his personal perspective. We'll see soon enough!

Elwar has been silent since this post. Only 3 days away... It will be my first day back to the US since August so hopefully the event is not too big as I will be severely jet lagged.

If the special thing about the 15th is tax return time, I'm not sure if it would make even a small dent on Bitcoin... Will the volume coming in be enough to change anything?
