Scared?  I could tell you that for the last year I held my money in the bank (i.e. lie, that happens in the intertubes).  As laughably stupid as doing that may be, it's still ~2 to 4 times better than what you did with your slick BTC & silver investings in the past year.

I mean, at least them fiat stooges didn't lose themselves most of their money last year.
Not like you Undecided

Just curious... since you're apposed to btc what is your purpose on this form?... just taking a stroll in forumland to warn everyone of bitcoin evils?... sounds like a puppet.

...I didn't have a short term investment I have a long term investment I am still on the up i bought in at 40$ a coin.

Then you're doing just fine, even if BTC hits $1.  Could go up from there, amirite?

...instead of leaving my funds in fiat which loses 2% buying power every year I rather have it in other things like silver and Bitcoin...

HAHAHAHA Cheesy

Bitcoin:

Silver:

Aww how cute your cherry picking your data, I am not looking for capital gains but long term investment.

Silver:

Bitcoin:

Now fiat dollar:

To be fair silver is a bit dated but the current ounce price is $ 16.47 but precious metals for long term shouldn't even be debatable vs fiat holding.

Yes, but he has a point there , and while i agree that keeping your munds in fiat is bad, bitcoin actualy lost his value significantly in comparison to fiat, and fiat lost value (like it allways does), so
you basicaly lost twice by choosing bitcoin. Im not trying to say that things will remain the same and that bitcoin is going to continue descending, wuite the opposite, but lamb has a point, your short term investment brought you loss.

cheers

NotLambChop, that's a very lame and well known method of dishonesty - cherry-picking a date range to make an investment look bad. Since the date range doesn't match your targets' own start date (2010), you Fail.

Lol, a year's worth of prices is cherry-picking?  Butthurt much?
Sure, BTCeanie prices skyrocketed in the past.  If, based on that, you feel BTCeanies are a wise investment now, I'm afraid I got nothing Sad
Ok NotLambchop I am interested, what do you invest in?

STOP FEEDING THE TROLLS!!!

This is his whole M.O. for being on this site, to get a rise out of you, or sidetrack a thread with his 25 Alt-puppets....

I know you've heard it before from other people trolling for attention when they don't really have anything. But I'm NOt TROLLING.

There will be something big on April 15th, I'm sure most people get the significance of that date.

Until then...

Ya sure. bro. sure.

... Elwar is a pretty good guy on this forum and I don't see him going for a pump and dump...

Nah, he only pumps.
He's knee-deep in this collapsing pyramid scheme (aka "a hodler"), and, like any rational "early adopter," he must keep pimping the scheme, roping in more and more marks.  Or watch his BTC holdings (lol!) tank (as they have been, for over a year).

So now you know.

LOL the overall graphs show growth so for long term holders are fine, and i don't see how cartoons for little children are relevant.

>i don't see how cartoons for little children are relevant
So you think you're all grown up, do you, Tiger?  But you play with BTCeanie BTCabies BTC & insist shit ain't over?  Roll Eyes

I don't know, if they wanted to wait for a higher price, why sell now? The market is still almost at a year-long low. They just waited so sell this batch because Ulbricht wasn't convicted until a few weeks ago. Up til now they only sold the coins held by SR and not by himself, didn't they?
Maybe they don't want a high price and will pay anything to try crash the market, although i don't think so.
Ulbricht's coins are still tied up in court cases and appeals, and will probably stay that way for awhile, these coins would only be from SR.

Sale of rest of the confiscated Silk Road coins ?
They have ony just announced the date for the 3rd lot of SR coins to be sold, so if they have any left from SR after that i don't think they would have a specific date chosen already.
US gov would probably wait for the markets to settle after the March 5th auction before selling off another lot.

So tax returns? Huh, interesting. I'd really like some information on what people spend their tax returns on. I think a lot will just want to go and buy themselves a nice TV or something. But I could see some money flowing into BTC as well... Definitely an interesting theory!
