We experienced unexpected events or moments in gambling like this one, you are calling it off a day in a session then you're suddenly on a winning streak thinking that it's your time to get back what you've lost will you go or will you stop and come back the next day.
The best option is to stop and continue the next day. You won't have much chance of winning consecutive bets for hours on end, this might only happen at certain times for example 2-4 times a day if you are really lucky. So don't be greedy, stop for a moment and enjoy your victory.

I'm sometimes tempted to continue but I know you cannot beat the house
You can't beat the casino, that's the point. Temptation is a part of greed, so avoid it and enjoy your victory today.

It is true that if our brain is calm it will be much easier to decide and we can mostly do the right thing, so it is important to stay calm when gambling and better before you start you should say to your self that you will accept whatever the outcome you are going to face. Only those who are in pressured and became emotional are not prepared.
If we can gamble to receive any outcome then it doesn't matter to win or lose because of using the allocation of money to lose, then no pressure whatsoever can affect the emotional for the purpose of betting to recover the loss. Basically, it's just for the type of gambler for entertainment with little money, they can gamble with calm emotional control and tend to be gamblers who are not serious often get wins and can laugh at opponents.

If I still have time to spare why not, I'll try my luck to regain my losses but if I have to do something important, then I call it a day and just come back tomorrow or when I have the time, this is pretty normal and it happens to all gamblers because gambling is so unexpected, you never know the outcome, just make sure that your personal life is much more important than your time in the casino.

I try never to go back to the casino the next day as very often one day is not enough for emotions have calmed down after a loss / win and I was able to soberly assess the situation. Emotions are our worst enemy which prevents us from making the right decisions, and no matter what positive or negative emotions we experience. But if I have some important business appointments I try not to play on that day as a loss can spoil my mood quite badly even if I am ready for it initially.

"Just have limits" is very easy to follow if you're winning or losing little by little "slowly", giving your brain time to properly process everything. But if you have a losing streak right at the first 10 minutes of the game, reaching your budget limit immediately/making you emotional, I believe it would enough stress to make plebs like us to break that rule. Cool
It is easy to say than follow. That should you say there. Also you can say that it is easy for you to follow it because you are different from the majority which are addicted or not totally addicted but only have a hard time of controlling their self once they are between on those situations (losing or winning).

It is true that if our brain is calm it will be much easier to decide and we can mostly do the right thing, so it is important to stay calm when gambling and better before you start you should say to your self that you will accept whatever the outcome you are going to face. The House will always have the better edge in a gambling casino or establishment.

as the name says: "gambling", by itself you can understand that people only win by luck, while the owners of bookmakers do not make money by luck, they make money thanks to people's bad luck, and in mathematics casino owners are favored while gamblers or gamblers are disadvantaged in odds. That's why even though it's impossible for a person to think that they'll always be on a winning streak, it's also impossible to overcome the house. a good thing that has been introduced is the asia handicap, at least with that one can reduce his loss when placing a bet. but at the same time the odd becomes low, and if there's one thing I've noticed in the game of chance, it's that I never make bets with low odds because in the long run they are not profitable unless the person makes a multi bet

Now gambling is in the blood.  No human can survive without blood.  It is difficult for gamblers to survive without such gambling

Yes no human can survive without blood in their system but let not gambling be in your blood. Do not be addicted to it to that point you can not live without gambling. Let everything you are doing be moderate. Am yet to find anyone who is addicted to gambling making anything great from it. Most people who hit jackpot in gambling are those who just took their chances a few times, and not the addicts.

Some people can certainly beat the house. There’s a decent number of people whom are actually banned from entering some casinos since they’ve done so well (I think this is mostly due to winning games of blackjack).

Because of card counting, giving the ability for the players to change the odds into their favor, no? But what other casino games can a player change the odds into his/her favor? I believe that argument is moot.

As for your question I’m kind of the same, if I get on a real hot streak I tend to walk away in order to keep my gains, regardless if that means I’m giving up some potential further upside.

But will you come back and play again? Or walk away forever and truly call yourself a "winner"? Because from the casinos' perspective, it's only long gambling session if you keep going back to play.

I've experienced something like that, I was able to get a lot of profit instantly on the same day and after that I didn't make a profit withdrawal and instead continued gambling and immediately the profit I got was lost, from that incident I can use it for an important lesson that when I get a lot of wins then I have to go out and make a profit withdrawal, when you want to enter again then maybe you can use a different user so the system won't know that it was you who won a very large amount.

If it happens and if I reach my target prize, I usually stop for I believe that if I'll aim for more I could lose everything. Sometimes we have to be contented and try not to be too greedy. Profit is still a profit no matter how big or small it is. Being greedy could only make us break the win streak that we might experience.

Everyone must have lost in gambling. Cause that's the law of the game. The most important thing is to stop gambling when you lose. You don't lose any more when you do this. Take a break for a while and come back stronger.

I confess that I already lost money in gambling, but nothing very significant, I confess that sometimes greed can speak louder!! and so we must keep attentive
What to watch out for from gambling games? what you need to do is self-control. If you want to play every day, I suggest you allocate the maximum funds you can spend. if your allocation is $500, then stop when it's all up. Don't be too curious about luck in the next round.
if you have won in a row, then immediately go out and come back the next day. although this is the most difficult part. because we will feel today is our greatest luck. This is the nature of gambling game lovers. I'm sure all gamblers experience it too.
Hmm....thanks for this advice!

Before I started gambling, I never imagined that it could become an addiction, but with my experience and vision I have today, gambling can be something "beneficial" for a person, for example, having fun and gambling to pass the time (this is my case), but on the other hand, gambling can be extremely vicious to the person and also for others around them (family, children, friends)

Is this actually true? Experienced and skillful gamblers is mostly a high roller, if the casino ban him because he's just a popular gambler and not because of the suspicious activity, I think the gamblers can make an accusations against that's casino since it's doesn't right. Although he's a great gambler, after all he will need a luck to get a better card rather than his opponent.

If you are lucky just seize the moment, only the brave will do that, so if you are brave, you'll not be afraid to go all in. There's no tomorrow especially if you are just relying on luck, you cannot win in gambling that way, there are only a few times that you are lucky so take advantage of that.

However, the most important is for you to know your limit, set your winning limit so you will know when to stop.

It all depends on my mood, but I always strive to leave the casino immediately after winning. For example, if I made a deposit of $100 I am ready to stop the game having increased my deposit up to $150. Of course it also happens that even after winning I lose everything and leave with empty pockets. I consider myself a player who has a sufficient level of self-control, but sometimes I have a strong desire to risk the entire deposit and I play to the last.

I go through mixed emotions when I gamble....

1. At first I enjoy it, because it is supposed to be entertainment.... right?
2. Wrong... it is a "Hamster in a Wheel" experience with me... every day! You grind it out for hours and get only small wins.
3. When I start losing too much, I increase the bet size.... thinking I can win bigger, if I bet higher. (forgetting that you lose more too)
4. Then when my balance are almost empty, I go for something like "Crash" with a few large bets..hoping to hit the high multiplier.. but it never happens. I end on a zero balance... with an intense urge to kick something Roll Eyes
5. I then take a small break.... deposit again ....and rinse and repeat.

Now... if that is not the definition of insanity, then I must be the King of England.  Roll Eyes

Call it a day after losing 1/4 of the profit againGrin

Kind of my traditional way of thinking when I am playing card games, dice, or any type of game that is played fast. I know I will lose because like you said, the house will always win it back. But there's a choice to not let them take everything.

The temptation will pull you back and you cannot stop it. Let it pull you but just for just a little amount and have the mindset that after losing it you will stop. If it wins more and reached your quota then do the same.

I believe from the "house's" standpoint, the people who regularly gamble are simply in one long gambling session in their balance sheets. From their point of view, if you keep coming back, you're just holding your winnings in your wallet temporarily for the day. You're only a real winner against the house if you win then truly stop gambling, OR you keep coming back for the casino to continue tallying your wins and loses.

All of us who gamble know how much that could be tempting whenever you are betting, and you are winning. You might think that you are the King of the World or something like that. To that extent, it would seem impossible to be taken down not until you lose it all. I know I have experienced that.

Experienced players probably would limit themselves to a certain amount on their balance and just continue another day. I have experienced this, and it's effective. Just have limits, and I think you would be okay.
