Information about us is provided on the website: SPARTA was created by a team with 3 years of cryptocurrency experience and 6 years’ experience managing large projects. The team has united behind the idea of creating a new society of free and happy people.

SPARTA is first and foremost a community. Like Satoshi Nakamoto, creator of Bitcoin, we don’t see any need  to provide our personal information. We don’t think information on particular people can improve product quality and influence product development. It doesn't matter who we are, what matters is what we do.

• Unlike the fees for other cryptocurrencies, even those that offer a fee of a few cents, SPARTA fees are the lowest possible and dynamically adjusting. The fee is 1 SPA per SPARTA transaction which is much lower than 1 cent. The fee will dynamically change to remain the lowest even if the SPA rate increases by thousands of times.
• The maintenance of the SPARTA network is convenient and profitable. SPARTA offers a worthwhile reward for forging, which is easy to start and perform. Why do you think a lot of governments and banks dislike cryptocurrencies? The answer is simple: they see it as a strong rival; therefore, they are scared and try to protect themselves in every imaginable way. What exactly are they scared of? To continue with the topic of inflation, we would like to note the key point. Fiat money is backed by nothing — the government can print as much money as it wants which leads to the inflation.
 
Countries used to use the gold standard — fiat money had a value directly linked to gold. With the gold standard, countries agreed to convert paper money into a fixed amount of gold.  A country that used the gold standard set a fixed price for gold and bought and sold gold at that price.
 
The U.S. abandoned the gold standard in 1971 which gave a start to everlasting inflation. Any amount of fiat money can be printed, which is why they are often devalued relative to the cost of goods and services. As a result, economic crises having global consequences are becoming more frequent.
 
In case with SPARTA, this kind of cheat is ruled out.
 
Unlike fiat money and most cryptocurrencies, SPARTA is backed by a limited number of tokens and protected against inflation.

How to start forging:
 
1. Create a SPARTA wallet and add SPA tokens to your account. A minimum of 888 tokens are required to start forging.  The more tokens you have, the more chances you have to create blocks and receive rewards.

• If you have between 888 and 999,999 SPA (inclusive) in an account, you receive only the sum of the transaction fees.
• If you have 1,000,000 SPA or more in an account, you are also awarded newly created SPA tokens.

2. Complete an outbound transfer. This is necessary to display your public key in the SPARTA network. You can only begin forging after this transaction has received at least 1440 confirmations.
 
3. Run a special application for forging on your computer. After the application is started, it automatically begins supporting the SPARTA network. When a block is created, you receive a reward.

• If the miner has 1,000,000 SPA or more in an account, he or she is also awarded newly created SPA tokens.

Why SPARTA is an eco-friendly cryptocurrency

Unlike Bitcoin, which uses the Proof-of-Work (PoW) concept, SPARTA is based on Proof-of-Stake (PoS). Under the PoW concept, mining requires huge electricity consumption. With SPARTA, no energy is wasted so it can be called an environmentally friendly cryptocurrency.

Examples of bitcoin energy consumption:

• Back in 2013, the entire bitcoin network was roughly 256 times faster than all the top 500 supercomputers around the globe combined.
• As of 2015, even if all miners used the most modern and energy efficient hardware-ASIC, the combined electricity consumption was 160 megawatts (1.46 terawatt-hours per year).
• In 2017, it was estimated that a single Bitcoin transaction required163 kilowatt hours (KWh) of electricity. That is enough to power the average 3-member household for about 5-6 days. Bitcoin and Ethereum mining taken together consume more power than countries like Syria, Cyprus or Cambodia.

We should remember that resources are not unlimited. Research shows that mining cryptocurrencies with PoW method can cause blackouts as the existing power stations can't cope with ever-increasing load. In theory, it could lead to global energy crisis.

Proof-of-Stake mining is more energy efficient and environmentally friendly than Proof-of-Work.

PoS-mining (forging) is not based on computing power, but on the user account balance. To support the SPARTA network, a person needs to hold a certain amount of SPA. PoS-mining does not require supercomputers and huge electricity costs.

Proof-of-Stake can be compared to Greenpeace, an international organization confronting environmental abuse and saving natural resources. Therefore, Proof-of-Stake can be called a "green" method.
