Online since '89...
SaveCoin appears to getting some attention and I'm not talking about the previous "bump" but looks like the overall picture has gained value..

SaveCoin (SPC) w/PoF is by far one of the most innovative coins to launch over the last year, SaveCoin contains a server side interest payment system which pays you interest on your balance without you needing to keep your SaveCoin wallet software open. You will be paid interest @ 0.137% daily (64% yearly) on all addresses with a balance, regardless of the amount held in any SaveCoin address. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.6215659

I have just figured out you earn Interest even when coins are on Bittrex !!
Even if you have a sell order !!

Isn't the perfect and ultimate coin ?!

Yup, it's a beautiful feature  Smiley

Just a note: you may not be getting any interest if you buy on the exchange, you'll probably have to transfer it to your wallet (or another exchange) and then send it back.

So, Savecoin has been the luckiest and most bankable coin in Crypto History with 750 000 % rise in 24h and 100M$ cap thanks to a fund.

Dev, what are your plans now ?

You do realise that it was one-time boost? You know how the market cap calculation works? SPC never had real $100m market cap.
Things are going back to normal now, market cap is over $40k. The only good thing is that SPC got some attention and free advertisement.

My opinion, this did a lot more than just a one time boost. Being in the crypto world for a while now & researching as much as possible, this one time boost is just the first. As time goes by, market cap will grow just like every other coin has done. BTC, LTC, etc.. The real effect here is not the market cap, but the fact of growing the network hashrate back up to 17+ Th/s for a few days & holding steady around 9-10Th/s now. SaveCoin has just barely started to grow, watering the soil & watching it grow will be the next steps over the next few months/years Wink

Edit: If even %10 of the filled SPC sell orders keep reinvesting in SaveCoin (when the market settles), thus the ripple effect, it will cause a growth in the market cap over time.

Allcrypt, the first (or one of the first) exchanges that added SPC are planning some major improvements and re-designing.
They're asking for the clients input/opinions/ideas. Let's help them out:

Adding that node seems to have worked.  So now I have one connection and it is catching up.

It says it is synced.  I do see the address in the payment history.  But now I see that the wallet has no active connections.  Maybe the nodes I have listed are outdated.  What should I be using?

Haven't use my wallet in a while, as I'm holding on exchange. Maybe someone else would be able to help you with this. You can always try re-opening your wallet (if you haven't already done so), it often helps.

There's also this post from the front page, not sure is it up to date:

node?

You shouldn't need to use the Addnode parameter, but if you do, add 185.47.61.138  Smiley

Good news is you will get your interest sooner or later.

I am using the SaveCoin core wallet, version 1

Is it synced? You've got active connections?

Search your address in the payment history, it shows that the last interest payment was made today:

I was online watching bittrex as the transactions happened. SPC market was not offline at that time. It looks like someone bought up a bunch of savecoin and sold it to the victim account at a much higher price a few minutes later. .15 btc per save coin??? come on, no way that would be legit.

They probably had their 41 btc "fund" on bittrex for trading. Whether this is a scam or they really fell victim to a dishonest fund "manager" is anyones guess, but this has happened a few days ago with Mycoin. Since BTC withdrawal needs confirmation, you buy up a lot of cheap coins with another account and sell them back to the victim account at a much higher price, then withdraw the BTC, or buy something else that can be anonymized and withdraw that.

That make sense. Otherwise why would anyone use stolen (?) BTC to buy SPC at such high price.

I haven't received any interest payments since August 4th and can't seem to find any reason for it.  Have the interest payments stopped?

Works fine for me. Are you holding on exchange account or wallet?
