There is a slight difference between betting on matches and playing gambling games. In betting you have the option to select the team based upon the past performances and hence you have a better chance to predict the correct winner. In games like dice or roulette, there is no past history, no patterns and it is entirely based upon luck. If your luck is not good, you will lose most of the time.

This does not mean that sports betting can make you rich while games can make you poor. I have seen people who bet on sports and are in an overall loss. Past history will never give you accurate future matches results.

In both the bet and casino games, we should deploy risk management and money management. If you have a plan to bet or play games with certain amount and never go all in, you will probably be in a better position in gambling.

Sometimes, I watch this in a cafe around my city and those sports fan comes to that place while the other sports fan will also come. Sometimes, they do online bets because I hear them say about one site or even by challenging the other friends and giving the money to the neutral person who does not support any teams. Yes, I see that is because of having fun and not chasing the win. If they lose, they will accept it and not feel sad because they enjoy watching the game with their friends.

I do a lot more sports betting than I do anything else. When I was younger I was all about card games and would do a lot of gambling simply with my college buddies. We would play Texas hold ‘em for hours on end for money. As I’ve gotten older I prefer sports gambling. I gamble both online and in person (casinos) as for sports. I still like to gamble card games and will do a little bit of that online , but mostly just do that in in-person casinos like you’ll find in Vegas.

That's true for almost any other game. Nobody loves to play a game which they always lose. If people can make more money from sports betting, they will like it more than dice for example. If they were making more on dice, then it would be the opposite.

I agree that some people love sports because it lets you to do research on certain stuff about the teams. That's not possible for the luck based games. Maybe it is this research process which makes sports betting more appealing...

That's why most of the sports bettors lose their money as bookmakers are very smart on attracting the fans to bet on the favorites. Based on the analysis I read, favorites usually lose the game if based on spread, so we should be smart enough to evaluate if the odds are fair or just a trap.

Betting on the favorites all the time is blindly betting.

if they are fans of sports, they'll choose card games. And they don't force themselves to understand sports betting as they only just got burned and lost their money. Then, the casino will seem to give them happiness.

As for me, I'd choose sports betting because I love sports and I was familiar with the players. It is literally we choose the place where we feel comfortable and we know that this could give us the best experience we want.

Not really. As long as you're a fan and you understand the sports that you're going to bet, I think you're good enough already to start. Most of us started with zero knowledge and experience on it and how you're going to gain experience if the requirement itself in the first place is experience.

Sports betting is fun too, you're having fun while tuning in the game and with the team or player that you have bet for. That's why both of them are fun if you're talking about enjoying them. If it's the measurement of fun, a casino player will definitely say that it's more fun and vice versa for the sports betting.

Have I tried both also and I can say that I was into sports betting than playing in casino. Yes, I do agree with you mate that everyone has their own choices and if you have already tried gambling in both then you can see to yourself which do you think you really fit in or where you think you will be more enjoyable. I believe that both requires to develop our skill even let's say in sports betting most of the time we rely on luck but for me there's still a soft skill that we need to develop as a sports bettor.

Not any skill with casino and I prefer interested with sport betting and exactly football match is more easy to get winning, better not playing with multiple choose just take one match only because many match is not predicting accurate, I think with bigger team on primer league like Manchester City is easy to predict who is winner although giving little odds is not worry during can winning from sport betting. I am not really understand how casino playing and not familiar with card game or anything with casino, when on Stake site I use sport betting only for playing game and never participated at Casino betting.

You are looking good on sports betting so continue with that. Casino games are pure of luck and no need for a strategy for it. It's not that you will stop playing at casino games but take it just a side gambling as you will focus now on sports betting.

As you have mentioned, you are gradually covering your losses on which it's not something most gamblers can do even gambling with their favorite. Let's hope your goal of covering all your losses will be reached soon but don't get carried away much. Gambling is gambling.

In my opinion, sports betting requires experience and knowledge, while playing in a casino is more fun. It all depends on whether you approach gambling as a game where you fight to win, or if you treat it as a game where if you win it will be fun, and if you don't win it will be fun too, but less. As far as I can see, you take it very seriously and you only care about money, so it's very possible that when you gain more experience you will start winning good money on sports betting.

Casino games isn't fixed, It's just the nature of gambling will give you more loss than giving you more winnings If you constantly playing non-stop until your last drop. Look, when a person is gambling they seem to be looking to bankrupt the whole Casino by trying to win every single time, and we all know that it's not going to happen because you'll eventually lose everything regardless of how lucky you are winning at the start.
That's no different from Sports betting as well. The only thing that differ is the measure of time of how fast or how slow you're losing your money.
In the Casino you'll lose or win $100 in just a minute, while in sports betting If you put a single $100 bet on a team, you'll probably going to lose or win for more or less than an hour.
Casinos will burn your money more rapidly than sports betting.
