Portugal game looked like it was going to end in a boring draw knotted at 0-0 up until the 82' minute.
There was a defecting going in off a Hungary defender.
Ronaldo scored a penalty and then another goal just rolling it in.

Does not matter if the loss was first game or second. If you have 4 correct selections and one loss you get your stake back as free bet. It has to be something regarding actual bets.

As i said I am thinking some Asian handicap which was only half won and therefore marked green but not good enough for purposes of this promo.

Awful finishing from both Spain and Sweden means we have our first Countdown special money-back casualty (no 0-0 in group stage game). It was 19/1 on that one. Also another Special is affected (Italy, Belgium, England, Spain and Portugal to Win at 12/1), if Portugal do win, we at least get money back =D

Thanks for the details .. there is no point in dumping the full screenshot, the only thing I forgot to mention is that in one variant the loss was the first in a row, and in the second variant it was the second, (exactly what you underlined). This made me make sure that only the last choice is insured (in case of 4 winning outcomes in a row), at least this is the most logical explanation since there were no canceled outcomes in these multi bets.

Only one rule from the top of my head that could have been problematic for you is void bet. If you had one lost and one void with 5x multi you don't qualify. Better way of wording this promo would be that you have to have 4 correct outcomes on the ticket and max 1 wrong outcome.

5x multi - 3 correct, 1 lost, one void, you get nothing
6x multi - 4 correct, 1 lost, one void, you get free bet

Basically if you are playing Asian handicaps and get half won, half lost or void bets you have to make sure to still have 4 correct outcomes. That is one of the rules that is not clearly written and has been giving me problems in the past. My rule of the thumb, don't play insurance x5 multi with selections that can easily get voided. And then I still get rektd sometimes with tennis forfeits. Hope I helped.

Insured bets are always displayed as lost, you just get free bet at the same time whole ticket gets graded.

Can anyone guys explain to me the details of the mechanics of safe bets? I have several bets that are displayed as lost, but for these two bets I used the "insured" function (As far as I understand, this is a bet insurance that can be done once every 24 hours, and if one of the choices loses, the bet is returned as a free bet). What can be the matter that these bets are displayed as lost? ^{[in the sense that I did not see any free bets on these amounts in my personal account]}

I was watching the match and saw it when it happened and had one of those "WTF did I just see!?!" moments.
While it was unfolding before everybodies eyes they were all in horror at what was transpiring.
With all the EMT equipment coming on to the pitch you knew it was bad.
Just glad everything to do with that incident turned out for the best as he is in recovery right now and the cardiologist for the team said it was a cardiac arrest. I have only heard this happen one other time right on the pitch during a match in the professional UEFA/FIFA league for a Bolton Wanderers player, but he didn't just drop like that with his eyes wide open staring at where he was after receiving the ball like Eriksen had on his face while slumping down.
I hope to never see anything like that again during a soccer match as it is something that is completely unexpected to happen to top athletes in such condition like they required to be running from one end of the pitch to the other atleast 50 times during a 90+ minute match.

Anyways about your question about the denmark specials, it was said in the club talk chat by a moderator that this eriksen scoring promotion was voided and everybody's stake was returned to them. But since it's a player prop bet, those usually don't get voided but they decided under the unusual circumstances of what happened 2 minutes right before half time that that was the proper call.
Don't know about the promotion they had with three teams winning their first match with denmark being one of them and what they will do with those bets placed on that one. Since they suspended the match and was in the process of cancelling all bets because the match hadn't finished before half time. But then there was a late decision by those who run the Euros to have the match continue.

Indeed! In fact, I took almost every special except the last few days of Countdown, mainly as odds weren't so great anyway and my entire bankroll was tied up haha.

We also have 19 goals so far with 7 games, which works out to an average of 2.69 goals per game. ALSO very good for the Over 120 goals Special, which needs an average of 2.4 goals per game to hit. So we're making good progress haha. No thanks to England for that...

Probably a good idea to track progress of all these specials, I'm doing them at the back of my head but might get some motivation to do it later this week;)


Nice one man! I've been betting on favs, but predicting upsets, so no 3/4s for me even haha.

I did a stupid mistake by cashing out Ukraine to score 1 goal and as soon as I cashed out , after 3 minutes they scored  so imagine how I felt to see that..but it is what it is as I was lucky enough to put the cashout amount into Holland scoring 3 goals at 2-2 which gave me my money back.

Tomorrow I'm really looking forward for both to team to score games as all of them have this potential.

I didnt get this special bets though, so Im keeping track for the number of goals scored instead . I have one for total of 120 goals scored throughout Euro 2021. Euro 2016 only had 108 goals scored throughout the entire event so this is not likely going to hit but oh well this one have moneyback offer in it so its all good.

I have another special bet for 21 goals or more scored in a group, its looking great for Group C right now with 9 goals so far after just 1 round

With Phil Foden's yellow, and Lainer's 85th min yellow (Austria), Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Russia are the 4 teams out of 12 to have played their first group game without yellows, with half of the teams left to go getting their 1st game. Italy I'm not worried about, nor Russia, but can easily see the Danes and Belgians easing their way out of group without cards if results go their way. Still, fireworks could set off on game 3. Not bad I guess? =p

Yeah, I think so too. In the past, Sportsbet did actually void bets on player markets if they didn't start the game. Which is why I played plenty of first to score markets (and if they didn't start, bets voided, so I didn't mind betting on prematch values, which when boosted, were really high).

Anyway, glad to know he woke up and is in hospital recuperating. Too bad the whole team, understandably, played badly after that. Even the penalty was so tame.

It is a lost bet by all rules in any bookie I know of. Even if he played just one minute the bet would be lost. That is extra risk we are taking every time we take player markets. I lost those bets in the past because my player entered the game in the last seconds or got injured in first 5 minutes.

Going with what happend some bookmakers might void the Eriksen to score option, I don't know if Sportsbet would void it or not, well since he started the game some bookmarkers will count it as a lost bet. As for his health, his father says he's able to speak again and everything is going on well with him, a good news everyone was waiting for so far.

Man, I have exactly the same prediction results as you, the difference is only in the number of goals ... but for some reason my prediction is marked as invalid. Can someone give an explanation for this? Or am I missing something? ^{[since apparently this is some kind of error]}

I chose this .. but considering that Christian Eriksen lost consciousness during the match and the fact that the match was stopped, I think everyone who made a bet will get money back, (it happened at 43 minutes of the game).

I was very surprised when I got free bet from Formula 1 prediction. I am not following the sport and I did not even recognize half of the drivers and half of the teams.
