Not really sure why my default pick on all Juventus games isn't draw. It looks that other outcomes doesn't exist for them this season - 13 draws in 20 games, I barely can remember any team having such record. It looks so weird team which is still undefeated is only in 4th place.
Because they should be good enough to win, wasn't so long ago when they were doing 1-0 wins like the Old Lady we all grew up knowing. Now they seem like maybe they want to rediscover the ultra defence they were renowned for... but then go chasing down allowed goals.
I tried to be smart with Roma tonight. Oops.

Actually, if Prem League continues the way it does and becomes a bit predictable I might just switch to watching some of these Serie A offerings. Never really want to get excited by constant and cynical fouling, and referees in a daze, but after Como, and now seeing Monza nick some blood at home for only their second win of the season, maybe it's about time I ditch the usual for a few gameweeks to remind myself why I'm watching English football?

You rarely see two yellow cards shown to one player for two distinct fouls all within a minute. That Lazio red card nearly ruined my acca. Thought they would scrape 1-0 win parking the bus rest of the game. Lazio had a streak of 9 consecutive home league matches with o1.5 total goals (100% hit rate). Patrick Cutrone, praise be!
I don't know what Tchaua thought in that minute but to commit 2 faults like that without even thinking it's really awkward and in my opinion this is the reason why Lazio lost 2 important points today. On the other side , Como took advantage of that red card and eventually the goal came late in the game around minute 72 but they also had 2 great chances to actually win the game and I kinda like how Como team develops lately and Fabregas is doing a great job there so far.

Oh goddamn you Lazio! Haha. Pegged them for a 2-nil win in the pool so they seemed like comfortably heading this way until they decided to become Lazio and get themselves playing with 10 men. Can't say Como didn't deserve at least a point, though. Seems like they were the only team trying to win tonight.

I think you will agree that the BSFL format is much more difficult than SuperBru and even fantasy football.
Fantasy is the hardest. If you don't follow team news, lineups, or pay attention to stats and stuff, you will not stand a chance. The beauty of Superbru, Pot B, BSFL, is if you know football, you can honestly get by without much research. BSFL you have to look for who is playing and who is in which group, but that's about it.
Fantasy is the most demanding to me, but maybe thats because I don't play it. Used to long time ago, its too damn hard to keep up

We have really grown a lot and last season dished out over 15k in Rewards plus almost 4k in free bets. I also find it hard to believe that you missed the thread since it is always close to the top and running for 6 seasons now.
I took part in a couple of short BSFL format competitions (I think it was the World Cup/European Championship) and I realized that this is my maximum for this format. Due to my betting style, I do not study teams/players/other fundamental data, so participation in such competitions will be either extremely unprofitable for me psychologically, or extremely unprofitable in terms of time costs.
I think you will agree that the BSFL format is much more difficult than SuperBru and even fantasy football.

Yes, you are right. I participate in 7 pools (+ side competitions) myself, so I need both simplicity and variability at the same time.
It seems to me that Pot B is very close to balanced conditions that should satisfy everyone. I don't think that the number of participants will decrease because the main limiting factor is that not everyone is ready to compete for the whole season, this factor is the most important, the rest is trifles. At the moment, all the participants are professionals, they will not be scared by changes.
I guess this explains why you're not playing in BSFL. Which is probably a bit too far to the extreme of non simplicity, I kinda get it. I love it, but I understand why half of the players in BSFL are not in the pools, and vice versa. Its very different kind of competition and demand, while Pot B like you said is a mix of simplicity with highly increased variability (for me it doesn't make sense to take risk in Superbru and only a little in BSFL, the point is the same, but in Pot B you can take great risk and the reward is equally great.).

I am fully on board with this, to be honest. But I know every season there are people who say they prefer the ease and simplicity of Superbru. Imagine especially for those who play 5 ++ pools, and already some have given up on some pools as they say they are too busy.
So it might be if we move everything to Pot B style, we will get less and less participants.
I am also exhausted by football to be honest, so I definitely want something less predictable, and it seems Pot B suits me more. We also have BSFL but that would be a different contest across all sports, not suitable for each domestic Europe league.

I wouldn't give up, either. Yellow caps are always there to play for. Winning one or two, and putting them to good use, puts you up for a fee for the next season
Besides, the gap between 1 and 20 in Serie A is only... 16 points. For comparison, 41 points separate 1 and 20 in La Liga, and 20 in EPL. That's the definition of close.There are reasons for this and we all understand it

How did that work out for you KTChampions? Genoa seems to have found a way to win as slight underdog in this festive season, and you guys are racking up the yellow caps. Need Atalanta to win for BSFL points, but nothing else got me juices flowing in Italia. Feels really weird to only have Serie A games on Saturday!
