My win came quite early, only in the first few games of trying for MultiMaster but I think now it gets harder of course because there are for sure more and more people playing every single week!

I made a table for this special edition of the MM, but I won't include the results into our soccer MM things because of the reasons @Trofo mentioned. I can still award some tasty NFL fame points and the winner will be sure to be the fame king at least until in the Draft in April or maybe even until the next SB in one year

Hertha will sooner or later start to get back on winning track after changing coaches (back to their beloved Pál Dárdai, with whom they have been very successful in the past and who has Hertha DNA) and signing Khedira. Generally they already have pretty good quality in their squad, but Labbadia just wasn't able to form a proper team. Hertha has done pretty good in recent years against Bayern at home and played them pretty hard at Munich earlier this season - it needed a penalty in 90+3 to make it 4-3 for Bayern.

Kick-off for this game was shifted to 30min earlier, so that Bayern will be able to get on plane after the game to fly to FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar. Bayern players might be a little bit stressed because of that, but not sure Grin

In the end Bayern should still win this, but I would be careful with the stakes Wink

I also played it but wasn't sure whether to post picks or not since its an 'unusual' MultiMaster compared to the others.

If we're calculating this one let me know so I can post my picks, although it'll probably just mess with my average score since I don't know a thing about NFL and did this one on a coin toss.

I was actually about to looking out for NFL SuperBowl predictions as I don't know anything about NFL games. I am sure there are many more in the dark doing some ^research^ about it or flipping coins Cheesy

but I think its alright with posting these predictions, I know we have been posting football MM predictions for some time now but lets not forget that we made this to post our MM predictions and help each others out. Still not a round to add to the table but its upto tyKiwanuka.

Glad to be first here, Multi Master is BACK and it's Super Bowl with 1.01 odds selection for each, but the big prize is 3 BTC -- I have very little knowledge about American football but I'm seeing some terrific outcomes like No Touchdowns and Tie in scoring halves, very tempting to pick but I stayed away. Loads of consolation prizes too cash and freebets, so I don't mind a punt (no pun intended).

3 times in a row 8 is awesome! I have also been doing quite well I think but personally,,, I think winners usually have a lot of bad weeks and then 1 good week since they seem to take more risks than others just to get a hit on an unusual week (like what we just saw). Newcastle winning apparently was made my less than 1% in prediction pools, and it was not that huge of an upset.

Today I just check my streak of 8 correct picks is going on for third time in a row which is not good for me as I need some better results from myself but its really poor judgment as unable to handle few things hopefully in coming weeks this could be improved because its much needed improvement for better results.

Congrats to our local champions,,, I thought I was doing well also, and I was right to make 3 draw predictions, but only wrong for making 1 of them wrong. I think at least 3 draws in each MM is a good tactic. I agree with Trofo also,,, if you bet on heavy underdog you miss 1 from 99% of other people who pick it, you have to be smart and pick the "slight underdog" OR pick it to be a draw at the minimum.

Yeah as always, there are someone thats either very lucky with those crazy picks then ended up getting the correct results. @leea @Trofo You're right, actually, both of you. I had an MM where the 3 biggest upsets all hit, but I still didn't win it because I actually didn't make enough draws. I think it's ok to go for all favourites, and then pick 3/4 of the ones you think the slight underdog might win or force a draw, but deep down, I'm also thinking I might go for a 15/15 anyway and win it big. Feels like a better chance than the lotteries I also play, the gambler in me always convinces myself it'll be my day soon...

I don't think picking such heavy outsiders is good tactic for MM. That Bayern vs. Hoff game with odd like that you are almost sure that you are among very few that picked the upset. So if you get it right great but if you miss 99% of other players have one more correct than you. And problem with those guys picking huge upsets is that they always pick more than one

So let's say you pick 3 big upsets and get one correct which is generous you still end up behind almost the whole pack.

MM is won or lost on those games where favorite is around 1.8 odds. In other words games where good chunk of the players will go for favorite but the odds of not loosing for underdog are actually more likely to hit.
