This round was quite interesting with all of the favorites winning at the last day I really thought we had a shot at winning the main prize. At the very least I got some sweet fame points and bumped my average. 

Next time I really have to take the underdog or draw on the early game the last time I got 11 I was in the very same situation and I think the big factor there was getting the early game correctly.

We had some crazy competition in side event organized by @buwaytress. I also enjoyed watching the leaderboard along with the matches, also realized that anyone has chance to win despite if their no. of correct outcome is not much.As for the result now, we have new participant (not that new  ) winning this round's side event.  @Turquinito    has won the side event with highest odds - 1060.21x . It was his 8th attempt in MM and he has already won something while participating.

It was really fun in the side event with a good competition amongst us. Thanks    @buwaytress    for holding this side event and making it possible to try out this new competition idea. I am definitely gonna come up with this idea (thanks to rohang as well for dropping out this idea) of competition in future again if I manage to win the MM. Probably with more prizes and good prize pool, but for now sad to see this end here for now.

Impressive run by the ralle14, Janprix, Indymoney, Turquinito and rohang for making it to 11 in this difficult MM once again. Sad to see them winning nothing in the end but I will say this- you are not that far from winning. It was not as surprising week as we usually have. Someone with 15/15 correct picks would have won his ticket with @75445.30405x odds, so someone staking with minimum qualifying amount of 0.1 mbtc would have won 7.5 BTC.

Its always the same everytime. Whenever we think this group has been doing great with 11 correct picks, there will be always few people that actually make it with 1 point ahead. You know what, it would be nice if any of us can make it to the top of sport'sbet leaderboard and take a share of the 300mbtc every single week.

So just need to wait to see who got the 12 games correct to get the top spot, as I don't think it was anybody from the table being updated above.
No EPL until January 12th so no more of these draws(surprisingly only Wolves had a draw ) to worry about in the next one.

ralle14, Janprix, Indymoney, Turquinito and rohang win our little internal round this week with 11 correct picks, but since all favs won today, I am not sure, if it will be enough for the overall leaderboard. Atletico gave us a scare, but the only consensus pick won in the end. For the other high consensus ones, only Everton disappointed us. Really annoying when you go against the fav with a draw and then the dog actually wins^^ The favourites mainly doing their job this weekend results in very good performances overall and since I was a bit bored during the Dortmund game, I calculated the average correct picks for the last 6 weeks:

Week 53: 8.80
Week 52: 6.68
Week 51: 6.86
Week 50: 6.30
Week 49: 8.85
Week 48: 5.74

We never had 5 winners, so there are only a measly 20 fame points per winner this week.
After 17 weeks ralle14 was able to score a win again and his max went from 9 to 11, well done. JanpriX also went from 9 to 11 in the max category, Indymoney upped his to 11 and is close to a 8.x average now, chapeau.
Turquinito and rohang got their first fame points ever, take good care of them

Actually that name wasn't there when first two games went through. Don't know what's happening with leaderboard but can understand given how much data they have to process to get the leaderboard- not so easy...

I was watching Dortmund's game and hoping for an equaliser but Sancho's goal in late minute put the nail int coffin. That puts me now behind... We have 6 guys with 10 correct picks and still one game yet to start so that's really impressive....

i just check it again to see the leaderboard but unfortunately, there is no update in the rank and the leaderboard just got updated 5 minutes ago.

That's about how I feel really. Why didn't I stick with my no-draw strategy? ARGH.

Anyway, anyone noticed the Sportsbet MM leaderboard? Looks really weird, and top place is just one guy with 8 points, but as we can clearly see from our mini group alone there are a handful of 8s already with just 5 games to go. So am guessing it's not updated yet. To think he wasn't even on there from West Ham (the odds weren't so crap either, bookies had that a tight game but crazy how huge majority went for the Toffees, eh?).

Interesting results and we have a lot of people with six correct picks and today four matched will decide the real winner(s).
I am looking at Alaves vs Atletico Madrid match and I have some insider info that it may not be so easy as we all are thinking

I think users with no wrong picks still do not show up in the leaderboard, so it's more likely that he had West Ham/ManU correct and then went 6/8 yesterday. And this being said, I am waiting for the day, when I have 14 correct and then boooooom there is someone with 15, who didn't show up in the leaderboard all the time

We have some pretty tight competition going on in side event. Its me leading right now with 115.20x but I am pretty sure someone with surprises if they get it right then they can easily get past me easily. I was checking the spreadsheet if it was working well with your sheet and it was really interesting how the leaderboard was changing while the matches were live. At one point , arallmuus was leading when match between Leipzig vs Stuttgart was on 0-0 scoreline with 265x odds. Anyway here goes the leaderboard:

@tykiwanuka I think I have made a mistake in my picks. I had "Draw" for Chelsea vs Manchester City fixture. Fixed my picks in original post.  With this I think I have similar picks as arallmuus in remaining matches.



Yan* guy actually wasn't there when the West Ham won and United won. Its impressive that he recorded 8/8 matches yesterday. I am sure there will be plenty of guys like that with 8 correct picks followed by lot of 7 and 6 correct pick guys. This leaderboard thing is keeping me biting my nails wondering about the actual leaderboard.

Yeah the site is having some issues throughout the day hopefully they sort it out soon. The leaderboard got updated an hour ago with Yan still leading at 8 correct picks.

If all the favorites win later today I wouldn't mind splitting the prize that 1mbtc would nicely cover my multi master entries for the next 3months or so. Then again if I end up having the same wins I probably have the lowest chance of winning since I mostly took the favorites and the only good odds I hit was Swansea.

If Dortmund won then surely you and Avirunes both have very clear chance to win this round and if you boht guys lost on City and Atlanta then very long list of winners is on but now I am feeling Atlanta match can go in draw and City as well but we have to wait for some very long time for all real results.

Im quite surprise to see that I actually hit a decent result once in a while

I picked two upsets for the remaining matches, Sassuolo to win and draw for City vs Chelsea. I might be able to win the side bets in case It is a draw for Chelsea vs City because Avirunes has the same upsets for Sassuolo to win


5 remaining matches, if everything hits Avirunes will be getting 12 or any of us with 6 points would probably get 11. Small chances but lets keep up the good vibes for 2021 and start the year with another winner from this thread

Loads of people with 6 correct picks in the hunt and the good news is, that noone has the exact remaining picks as Avirunes. The bad news for ralle14, JanpriX, Indymoney, Turquinito and rohang: If you win the MM this week, you would to share the prize with at least the afore mentioned guys

But I guess there is no chance to win anything anyway, since there seems to be one highflyer in the otherwise pretty empty leaderboard

I actually can't check in your link no more, but I fixed it

The Arsenal game is really a snow ball match like they play in the NFL or bowl for those college games.

But the gunners are leading by 2 goals. So managed to f the draw again. I think I got only 2 or 3 correct today so I aint getting nothing in this. Someone has 4 correct without the last two matches counted on the leaderboard.
It will be a low scoring multimasters this round from the looks of it.

We still have lot of matches and we have some tough fixtures tomorrow as well. Right now also there are some pretty tight matches going on with 0-0 scoreline at HT so feels like we gonna have 1 or 2 draws at least this week. Not as much as last weekend , last weekend was very much unexpected.
