What a disaster for me again, only 4 points collected, well is very strange to see this but in this round is like we ahve some part of the players with goo ammount of points and the other half with really nothing in their hands.

Congrats to @jeremypwr with a yellow cap this round. That moment when yellow cap isn't enough to go up from last place. That was a bit strange round and all of us didn't got much point. Dortmund loss against Mainz, Bayer draw with Bochum or goaless draw between Leipzig and Gladbach. And Bayern, probably we all expected something more than 1:0 win vs St. Pauli.
That's true. Three goalless draws in one round for the Bundesliga looks like pure fantasy. I'm used to most games ending like BTTS Yes here, but this round is special. And that's even without taking into account Bayer's loss of points, Bayern's modest result and Dortmund, which forgot to show up on the pitch (one shot on target).

Is it me, or did we have a somewhat different point system for draws last season? We used to get three points for non-exact draws, for example, if a match ended 2-2, anyone with 1-1 or even 3-3 would get three points...now it's two. Not a biggie, i just noticed it.

Is it me, or did we have a somewhat different point system for draws last season? We used to get three points for non-exact draws, for example, if a match ended 2-2, anyone with 1-1 or even 3-3 would get three points...now it's two. Not a biggie, i just noticed it.

Hey, not bad, I actually called two upsets correctly! Strange that one only gets 2 points from 2-1 (when Mainz won 3-1), and another got me 3 points from 2-1 (Frankfurt won 3-2) -- more points given when you get the winning margin correct I guess, never occurred to me. It's as if they really don't want you to pick the upsets in all these prediction games. Only me and jeremypwr picked Bayer to lose too, the draw gave nothing to all of us.
If he can cope is the question I'll be asking here. 35 in Italy is not as demanding as the high-energy Bundesliga. Like the guy, but I think people should acknowledge where and when they can still play (while being entertaining).
BTW, there is currently a big rumor of Mats Hummels (ex Dortmund, ex Bayern) coming back to the Bundesliga after joining AS Roma. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that he will likely return once the winter transfer period opens. I mean he's 35 so I doubt he will be back at Dortmund or Bayern, but I am sure there are several clubs that are interested in signing him, if he really wants to come back.

Pretty good weekend as a FC Bayern fan tbh. We're back to a 3 point lead after RB Leipzig losing against Borussia Dortmund. And we're up already 7 points on Leverkusen and Dortmund.
If they lose a few more "easy" games this one is going to be a great season (without much sweating) for me as Bayern fan, haha.

A relatively unspectacular 0:0 with a lucky point for Stuttgart, imho. Apart from Undav's chance in the 62nd minute, Stuttgart hardly had any dangerous chances and shouldn't have complained if they lost the game 1-0.
Eyes on Dortmund : Leipzig tonight. RB Leipzig needs a win to stay close to Bayern and Dortmund desperately needs a win after the previous poor performances. This one should be interesting.

It depends on teams. Real Madrid awards capitancy based on longevity in the club. Their first 2 captains Carvajal and Modric are often not on the pitch. Real are a different team, City the same I think. Machines don't need a leader... to that extent I always feel like Liverpool has multiple Achilles heels on that front of energy. They need the fans, they need a captain. Take those away and they're a bit flat. (Feels like Slot addresses this too, while Klopp fed on it).

This is new to me! Last time I watched BVB he was still playing so well -- even performed pretty good for Germany when I saw him play vs Netherlands. If true he's on the bench, then yeah, bloody give ther armbard to someone else. Can't downplay the mental effect of moves like that, really. I know captaincy doesn't mean much to many teams but surely it bears some weight on a team like this.
He played the last 14' min against Real Madrid and 45' against Augsburg. There is already a quite big discussion in German sports media about the topic.
Sahin said today, that Can will stay captain of the team, but there are no guarantees that he will be playing. It doesn't really look like the coach trusts him.
