^  Yup!  I was about to post that one.  And also some words swirling around that Hamilton's replacement could he Lando Norris?  Is that even possible?  I think Norris has a contract with McLaren until 2027 or something.

*Just checked...*

Dun dun duuun...  Lando Norris' contract with McLaren is going to end at 2025.  Grin  Omg, 2025 is gonna be good.  At least it won't be boring.  Man, not a Ferrari and a Hamilton fan but Hamilton at Ferrari is something I will def root for.  Hope he does well but his first season could be 'entertaining'.  Cheesy Cheesy

But then again Hamilton has a knack for going to a team he knows is building a good car.

Have you seen the news about Hamilton and Ferrari?  Huh

Today many news sources started to write that Hamilton is very close to finishing the contract agreement with Ferrari for 2025 season.

Source: https://news.sky.com/story/formula-one-star-lewis-hamilton-to-leave-mercedes-and-join-ferrari-13061256

This means Hamilton will take Sainz's place at Ferrari. It must be really shocking to hear for Sainz while trying to extend his contract.  Sad  If Ferrari start fixing their problems Leclerc and Hamilton can have a really deadly performance.  Smiley

You are forgetting that Sportsbet is always using Bitcoin logo for many of their sponsorship deals with sport clubs Wink
If you look at Southampton FC shit you will clearly see Bitcoin symbol, and same can be done for F1 car.
Alfa Romeo didnt reveal design for 2024 yet but new name is Stake F1 team, that would be very good crypto competition.

That's what you mean, yes from time to time the Bitcoin logo is then quite small with the sponsor, I thought you just meant a Bitcoin Formula 1 car, would currently fit well with McLaren because of the orange car.

Then we are curious to see what the design of "Alfa Romeo" will look like.

Anyway, reposting this.  We'll be seeing what these cars look like finally then it's just around a month before Bahrain!  LFG!

with a month to go maybe it is a right time to start inquiring interest for next season pool
last season this pool had a lot of participants, so should be this season as well

will this be one more season with dominant Max, or we can something more interesting to that, I think that Red Bull will extend their dominance into next season

^  Perez has a contract and this is F1 not football where they sack and replace the manager before their contracts expire.

^  Me too.  Cheesy  I mean really it's harder to get a good weekend getting it right in F1 than the UFC or the EPL.  At least for me.  And I'm not saying I'm any good getting it right in the UFC or the EPL...  Lol.  Cheesy
Oh trust me you can do much worse in La Liga pool, just look at my recent results  Tongue
Strange that in the same time I can do very good in other competitions like BSFL, and I hope for better results in F1.

Now...  It could either be Leclerc is confident that Ferrari could give him a competitive car or it's going to be a few entertaining seasons.  Grin
I think they offered him more money with new contract that he couldnt refuse.

Yeah...  And there isn't any available drives from the other top teams that's more suitable for Leclerc...  Mercedes and Red Bull.  But I couldn't really see him drive for Red Bull as they usually get drivers who are rising from their ranks.  Perez was the exception because the previous two drivers partnered with Verstappen didn't really do so well in helping with getting the points for the constructors championship.

...  But Perez also really doesn't.  Lol.

That is the only reason Perez is still there is exactly this,he is a mediocre driver that is for sure but sometimes in some specific races he become a beast by winning those couple of races giving the much needed points to earn the constructors Championship and he still ends up as the second driver in the drivers Championship. This is enough reason for Redbull to keep him until the end of 2024 when his contract expires. In this year Perez needs to do more or it is a sure thing that he is going to be replaced otherwise.

I think the writing is on the wall.  Perez will be replaced by somebody else who could bring in the points and make it a dominant showing in the constructor's championship.  That's why keep a close eye on Ricciardo this coming season.  If he makes a decent season for himself I'm pretty sure he'll be in Red Bull Racing next year.

Anyway, reposting this.  We'll be seeing what these cars look like finally then it's just around a month before Bahrain!  LFG!

As I said before that is highly unlikely,Redbull can have and favor only one driver to win the title, that driver being Verstappen and Perez serves well their purpose in order to help them achieve the title for the drivers. They also ask him to be the second driver in the standings when there is no real competition from other teams,if there is competition this requirement is not mandatory for Perez anymore. In this context I doubt he will be replaced in mid season this year.

If Red Bull were acting like Ferrari about their drivers then I guess Perez would have already been sent from the team. Perez really owes his stay to Verstappen's extraordinary performance indeed. But this must also have an expiration date on the other hand.  Sad  Helmut Marko is giving Perez more chances than he actually deserves. Because he is a driver of the No 1 team in F1.

By the way let's say Red Bull terminated Perez's contract and decided to sign a Red Bull related driver later. I would like to see Gasly or Ricciardo in this case. As Gasly is much more ambitious lately he would outweigh though.  Grin

The Bitcoin logo alone as a sponsor or as a big sign will be difficult, Formula 1 will not stick a BTC logo on the car for fun, a Bitcoin billionaire would have to come along and buy a team just for fun, like the Hesket team that raced with Hunt for a long time without sponsors.

Have you guys seen new McLaren F1 new design with OKX crypto exchange stickers branding all over the car, and chrome browser on the side?
Tthey cant win the whole season but with Norris and Piastri they can win few races and compete with other top teams.
I really liked their design and it would be great to see more crypto projects as sponsors in F1, maybe Sportsbet one day with Bitcoin logo  Grin

McLaren's design looks very good, I hope they have moved closer to the top this year and can continue to fight for the podium.

Red Bull's policy is exactly like that yeah. We have an example like Alex Albon in our hand.  Smiley  However his journey didn't last much long at Red Bull. Because he wasn't good enough and making mistakes quite often. Now Perez is like he has changed his role with Albon.  Grin  Albon is doing an amazing work at Williams as you know. He was great last season.

On the other hand Perez was a disgrace... I'm still surprised about how Red Bull decided to move on with him for another year. Do you think he would be replaced mid-season this time?

I see more activity in this topic, so does anyone know if we are going to have prediction pool again for new Formula 1 season 2024 and when it is starting?
Last season I sucked with F1 predictions but I am going to do more research and be better prepared this time.
It looks to me like another RedBull domination for 2024.

The start of Formula 1 is getting closer and closer and I hope that there will be another contest soon. Yes, it will probably be another RedBull season, but I hope it doesn't end up with RedBull dominating again.

It made me very happy to see this much attention to the pool already now. Just as it was in the previous 2 seasons I think we will organize a pool sponsored by Sportsbet.io next season as well. As there is still 1 month to go for the first race of the season which is Bahrain Grand Prix we haven't discussed this topic with Steve officially yet. However in our last conversation he was also keen on making it continue. I think we will make an official announcement in 2 weeks.

Thank you for the answer, I will definitely take part again.

After watching the Drive to Survive documentary featured on Netflix last week I also want to join the pool this year. The last year was a boring one in which Red Bull completely dominated and won. I hope the other teams (Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren) can manage to be competitive this year.

I would be happy if any member can PM me after it is made official about the pool to be organized.

Yes; I'm fairly certain we will have a 2024 F1 Prediction pool courtesy of Steve and our friends @ Sportsbet.io  Smiley

It is very good to hear for me also.  Smiley  Last season was really so much fun as there was a really sweet competition among quite many people for top places. I hope we can have another exciting season in the pool next time.

It was really not easy to keep up with @vd309 for the championship. Congratulations again buddy.  Grin  I will try to do my best to get ahead of you next time. Haha

Great to hear this. The season of F1 for us here was not boring at all compared to the other fans who just saw Verstappen dominating,we saw it too but we were more focused on our choices and that added a great level of entertainment to an empty F1 season dominated completely by Redbull team.Chances are high they will dominate again this season and without a pool most of the fans were not going to be motivated to watch every single F1 race while with the pool going on I am sure everyone participating would watch any race no matter who they are a fan of.

P.S:Hopefully even better prizes this season as is the third one  Grin.
