Slava Ukraini!
Great news! Sportsbet is generous like always and I will join it without any doubts. Already feel hyped for the new season and can't wait for it. Last season consistently average without getting yellow cap, but I managed to end in prize spots. I hope that predicting results of upcoming season will require more thinking than just pick Verstappen to win race.

We would like you to join very much even if we can't offer a 100 million-dollar contract. By the way I was almost losing the key for the escrow address last year. Therefore I asked for cro2 team's help to manage the escrow address this year. Trofo didn't break my heart and he accepted to help. Therefore I would like to thank him very much.
Oh good luck, you are trusting biggest mafia syndicate in this forum, but they know how to keep funds safe as escrow Grin

I am happy to hear the news about the new pool, but I see there was inflation for entry tickets, so maybe 2 x 0.5 mbtc free bet would be better if we get more than 20 people to sign Wink

I confirm that quoted address is under control of Cro2 (cryptofrka and me). It is a dedicated address just for F1 pool in our multisig wallet. And you can check the state of funds on it at any time.

We act only as escrow on this address. Meaning cls63 is pool captain and we will pay out the rewards as per his instructions and his rules in the OP.

Good luck to all the participants and thanks to cls63 for organizing and Sportsbet.io for sponsoring yet another pool on bitcointalk.

His contraction is a coinflip toss for one of the biggest winners in the history of Formula 1. Contrary to what many think, he may end up being the godfather...!

Maybe there aren't many drivers to be seen who are still able to do great as of the age of 40. But there are still great exceptions such as Alonso.  Smiley  Alonso is still very ambitious despite being 42. I still remember Perez and Alonso's incredible rivalry in the last moments of the last Sao Paulo GP. Just think about what can happen if Alonso takes Hamilton's seat at Mercedes in 2025.  Grin

Indeed, Hamilton is great about predicting the team to start rising after new regulations. He did it in 2013 by switching to Mercedes and he won 7 titles there. I'm really excited about his journey at Ferrari as of 2026.  Roll Eyes

He'll be 40 years old when he goes there.

Don't get me wrong, the guy's a legend and is still going strong. But come on, this sport takes all you've got. Can a 42-year old guy really do it against all the youngsters anymore?

I'm sure it isn't just for PR - they will expect results from him. I just feel it's too late and find this really bizarre.

This is Lewis Hamilton we're talking about...  If this was football, he's like a Messi or a Ronaldo.  Cheesy Cheesy  And just like what I said on the other F1 thread, he's in there not just for his driving ability but his experience and valuable in
it he could give the team's engineers.  I think it's good for F1, a transfer move that everybody is curious about.  The 'what ifs' will be answered.

And you think that it could be too late, but I'd like to think Hamilton has a knack for knowing which team is gonna do well when there are big regulation changes.

yes in motorsport without any doubt.

Look at Sainz Senior winning Dakar after Dakar at the age of 60 against 20 years younger racers

All in all, I think Sainz is the guy that got fkced in the ass with all the driver movement.  Not really sure if Merc wants him to replace Hamilton.

And another thing, I think Leclerc is fcked.  Hamilton will be a tough team mate.
Sainz to Mercedes, I haven't heard such talks. If nothing unexpected won't happen, he will go to Sauber/Audi. Even his father few weeks ago said that Carlos is interest in Audi F1 project. And Vettel, it doesn't looks that he still have interest in F1.

He'll be 40 years old when he goes there.

I think that age isn't issue. Look at Alonso, it's difficult to tell that he is already 42 years old. Offcourse, Lewis isn't in his prime anymore, but I think that he is still capable to deliver result if he will get good car. But knowing Ferrari, it's difficult to expect that. Wouldn't be surprised if it would end in same way like Alonso or Vettel career at Ferrari.

From one side im happy, finally Hamilton leaves Mercedes with all his political shit and open the seat to other fantastic driver.

But in the other hand, he brings all his shit in other mighty team like Ferrari, lets see how it ended, i can see ton of drama between him and Charles Leclerc incoming.

So what is Mercedes going to do now after Hamilton switched to Ferrari, and who are they going to sign for new season?
Maybe Fernando Alonso or Carlos Sainz, or some new unknown talented driver.
I think Ferrari is aiming to be the biggest challenger to Red Bull this season.

It is a really good question. I have also been thinking about this since this signing was made official by Mercedes also.  Huh

I even thought about whether their reserve driver Mick Schumacher would take his seat. Because Russell is their main driver now in the end. However Ricciardo also came to my mind in a short time. There were rumours in the past about him to take Hamilton's place in such situation also.

About Vettel's returning to F1, I don't think it is very realistic now.  Sad  Vettel already look like he forgot about F1 and just started to live his life in the way he wants.

Ferrari let their drivers compete with each other so it would be great to watch a big rivalry between Hamilton and Leclerc.  Cool

Dun dun dun duuuun...

I really wouldn't mind if it was that guy.  And the team did have a history for bringing back drivers out of retirement.  The last one being the great Michael Shumacher.  Why Vettel you say?  It's just cos he's the realest and the most based mofo on the grid.

And here's another Formula Dank meme on Lewis Hamilton.  Lolol.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I hope that we can reach at least the same number of people this year as well.

I think that this will be the case for sure, and probably some new members join, so numbers go up

Was on air since 2020 this news,

It is about time.

not sure what to think about that

hey guys there are only 30 days left until the new season starts 😁 Will there be a new Predictions pool? I learned so much last season that I think I will be better this season (if not worse) haha 😁😁

As I said before on our chat up with Steve he said that he was thinking of maintaining the sponsorship. However we didn't talk about it in detail. I will try to make an official announcement soon about the condition of the pool. We are very lucky that Sportsbet.io has been supporting this pool for 2 years. The number of participants was quite many last year. I hope that we can reach at least the same number of people this year as well.

Have you seen the news about Hamilton and Ferrari?  Huh

Today many news sources started to write that Hamilton is very close to finishing the contract agreement with Ferrari for 2025 season.

Source: https://news.sky.com/story/formula-one-star-lewis-hamilton-to-leave-mercedes-and-join-ferrari-13061256

This means Hamilton will take Sainz's place at Ferrari. It must be really shocking to hear for Sainz while trying to extend his contract.  Sad  If Ferrari start fixing their problems Leclerc and Hamilton can have a really deadly performance.  Smiley
