Josh Little is such an important resource for Ireland. Whenever he picks some crucial wickets earlier on, that automatically puts Ireland towards a path to win. And today also it was no different. England got wrecked earlier on, when Little picked up the wickets of Jos Buttler and Alex Hales. England at one stage was at 14/2, and they never really recovered. To their credit, the other pacers (Mark Adair, Barry McCarthy and Fionn Hand) also gave good support to Little. And the spinner George Dockrell picked up the crucial wicket of Harry Brook as well.

I am very much disappointed with the result of this match. The match was called off due to rain in the 15th over. If the English side had played the full 20 over match then the result of this match would have been different. This is the problem with DLS method it only takes both run rate into consideration. We have seen in this tournament that most teams start fiering up in the end overs of the match and I assumed the English side was planning the same. Bad luck for England!

Ireland played really well today and those who placed their bets on Ireland would have made good money. This match might be one of the biggest upset in T20WC history. Those matches that are scheduled in Melbourne throughout this week and the next might end up either getting cancelled or ending up using the DLS method so if you're betting on match played in Melbourne consider putting your money on the team batting first.

Unlucky for New Zealand, it can be argued. But since the match was abandoned without a single ball being bowled, the teams need to share points. Both New Zealand and Afghanistan will get one point each from today's match. New Zealand's case is much better than what happened to England today. Their match against Ireland was also affected by rain. But the difference is that Ireland ended up with full two points, as they were ahead in the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method. England fans were furious, but they should be blaming their own batsmen first.

Disappointing day in T20 World Cup. The first match (England vs Ireland) was interrupted by rain, and the second one got washed out. I used a freebet on South Africa - Zimbabwe match and it got voided (so I basically lost the freebet), so yes definitely don't want any more games to fall victim to rain again.

What I did instead from now on is to make multibets in case 1 game is voided. This was mine today. The best is also you can cash out any time if you feel the match is about to get cancelled

The worst is DLS which happened to me all my precious BTC lost to rain lol
