@notblox1 normally I would say that Manchester City wouldn’t bother much about winning this competition, but Pep maybe motivated this time because he knows that there’s a chance he may not win the league title and champions league is unpredictable hence he may try and win this competition. Lastly Manchester City do have a good squad so even if they rotate a lot then too they’ll be able to put up a good lineup, however it’s way too early to predict that City can easily win this cup.

At this point I truly believe that City players just "throw the ball in, haaland must be there somewhere" and just trust him to score lol. It was a good game, Haaland kept going from where he left off and scored another, and City won 3-2.

I wagered on Liverpool to win and even though I know that they have been not so great this season, I believed maybe this would have been an important win for them. In any case, it's fine and I could make it back quicker this weekend anyway, I do not have to win every bet, and this was a very very special one. It also proves the point that City could win the league as well, outright bet is still City for me, so it should be good when league restarts.

Wonderful game again from these two teams, I got what I wanted, lots of goals, but I actually still lost my bets as I went for scorer (Nunez and Haaland) and somehow it seems Nunez missed 3 goals, all in the same way, missing the same side of goal all 3 times. Haaland got on the scoresheet but it seems de Bruyne is back to his best, like he wasted all his bad form on his country lol.

It is just an expected thing at this point. I mean if I wager anything at 4 or more games then I expected at least one of them to fail, but I still do gamble on parlays anyway, even though I know I will lose. It's okay though, I am not really shocked about it as much as I used to, I feel like that's a normal thing at this point.

I remember Bayern losing to low level teams, real, city they all happen so rarely and I remember hitting them all, different weeks and each week making my parlay go down. If it was so easy, each week we would wager on City, Real, PSG, Bayern to win, and you have 4 teams who will make you profit, but it is unfortunately not that easy.

I don't think Di Maria was able to play for longer than that. He missed previous two games altogether and even though there wasn't any real information I believe he must have had some small injury. He went out gave he best and got substituted, nobody can complain about that.

Mbappe proved that he is one of the best players in the world. I don't like his character, way to full of himself for his age, but there is no denying he is a world class player.
